It's been a busy week : 👉 I defoliated the plant by removing 8- 10 very big fan leaves, to allow more sunlight to reach the lower branches 👉 I took 2 cutting of my plant(s) 👉 I removed the six lowest branches and used the cuttings to make cuttings. 👉 I started the light deprivation technique by moving the plants to my darkroom to force flowering. 👉👉👉👉Every morning at 8:30 am I move the plants in the greenhouse. 👉👉👉👉Every evening at 8:30 pm I move the plants inside the darkroom. 👉 Once a week I give the plants a liquid booster with OPF 4:2:8 ; Fulvic 25 ; Yuccah ; Biovin liquid ; Earthworm compost extract. I’m measuring plant biomass this time around: plant HEIGHT, leaf WIDTH and CANOPY width for as long as possible, before tent space MAXED OUT. Target maximum plant height - 36”- 40”. Allowance for canopy width expansion of 2 plants in a 2x4x6 tent - varying between 24” - 36” from late vegetative stage through flowering. This is a stretch as far as space goes. One single plant would have be enough to fully fill the entire canopy of multiple colas. In other words, although one can legally grow up to 4 medicinal plants in Canada, and I chose to grow 2 of them, that does not necessarily mean extra yield. Plants are thriving and read to be flipped into flowering stage next. Light intensity increases and so does DLI. PPFD=683 and DLI=44.1. Photoperiod changes to 12/12 in week 6

It has been a journey but I'm happy it's over. Would have liked it to go another week or 2 but I'm happy with what I got. She smells like cotton candy and I can't wait for a taste. ☺️🤤

Ok so had a bit of a bad week ph was way out causing problems at 6.4 so had to flush and get ph back to 5.8 also had big problems with high humidity like 80 90 % even when lights are off so I've decided I've upgraded to a 2.0 x 2.4 x 1.2 so hoping the more space and also upgrading to the black orchid 6 inch fan n filter along with the 4 inch fan and carbon filters plus clip on fans but big things to come I've also purchased a 4 pot auto pot system for the next grow so keep eye out guys

For the last day of the year we treat ourselves to the story of a special little girl. Her name is Biscotti, her name already says it all about the potential of this young girl born in Holland with this beautiful Italian Strain Name, she is precious and full of style since conception. She looks like she was designed by Pininfarina who smokes joints. It's a bit as if Gianni Versace had dressed her, extravagant, provocative, truly flamboyant, if you have the patience to look at the thousand photos that I made clear that I literally couldn't stop taking. It's a journey I don't want to leave, especially when I'm in the middle of it. terpenes, please leave me there! She grew up quietly, with her small internodal distance you could see that she was beautiful even without flowers, but it was when she flowered that she truly gave her best. Already from the first weeks of flowering you can understand very very well that the girl has a bright color and she threw resin very early thanks to Power Buds, Sugar Royal and Green Sensation in my opinion. The flowers have an imposing shape, they really are beautiful little purple beasts just in the dry room, for a few days soon we will do an initial test and then we will wait to taste it without too much fresh taste. I’m about sure to have rated 10 stars the strain and all feeding 5 stars but i found the strain rated 9 stars and the feeding 4, not sure but almost sure. I often get sad when I cut it, I'm too sad to cut it, I always think I'll smoke it and everything, but it's so beautiful that it makes my heart ache to cut it. It's her life cycle, otherwise she would rot for goodness sake, it's a joke but I really have a moment of shock in her heart. She'll move on to the first vaporized one I guess. Technique used - She was worked with a. single topping cut but leaving the two branches lower than the cut, thus obtaining 4 main branches with the relative branches. I also did a bit of LST at the beginning but having space problems then I decided not to let it expand too much. Flowers are beautiful beasts for truly yummi. Fertilizers - We have to make a special mention of Plagron I wrote a review in this diary which only partially explains how good this line of fertilizers is. I feel like I saw with my own eyes the changes in the plants when I gave the additives, I really saw the plants push in resin and everything. For more information read the review, I don't like to be repetitive, I don't write the quantities, they are also in the diary and in any case very similar to those recommended by the manufacturer. Never exceed this with any fertilizer and always flush. Light and home - The light was provided by MarsHydro and the home as well, it is the SP 3000, a piece that is not of the latest generation but which I love for its length of around 110 cm which you can understand how it covers me super well, the 120 wide wide grow room cm, 60cm deep and 180cm high, always supplied by them with a better than average covering by a lot and fantastic windows from which to spy on the girls. Hi growers sorry I haven't updated my diary been away on holiday I'm back now and ready to go again. This is day 31 all 3 are growing good they've all started to flower the only problem I have notice since I've been away some of the leafs have started to yellow I've gave them 3 litres of water with 1 ml of big bud , bud candy , rhino skin and 2ml of cal/mag I'm hoping there's enough nitrogen in the cal/mag to turn the leafs back to green I'll update in the next few days I've also cut off a few leafs from the bottoms of the plants. Day 32 quick update all 3 have started to get burn on the tips of the leafs I really didn't want this problem so early on in flower. They have perked up abit but the top leafs are still abit yellow next feed I'm going to add some micro grow and bloom with some cal/mag. Day 34 I gave them 2 litres of water with 2ml of micro grow and bloom the leafs are still abit yellow and I haven't noticed much growth in the last few days I'm hoping there ok I think my pH may be to low with the small branches going purple and the burnt tips I'll update next feed or any problems.

Then it was time to top them. It was interesting to observe how differently all four girls reacted to the loss of the main cola. Yes and then I gradually started to bring her down. But again, completely different reactions. Every time before I stressed them, they fed Boom Boom Spray beforehand. Super addition.

A really good plant. Gave a okay yield. 60g dry all covered in resin! Smells really funky little citrus but also very 🧀

1 - 03/27 - Starting up week #2. New light is installed, will be monitoring the set up now since the new light is 800w. Tent temperature peaked yesterday at 85. Added a big fan in the tent and an additional fan for circulation outside of the tent as well. Going to need my air scrubber sooner than later to help keep my temps in check. Likely need a cool mist humidifier as well now. Woohoo. At least they are all still standing! 2 - 03/27 - The new LED at 800 watts is far too much. The tent was heating up uncontrollably past 86, so I decided to take it back and grab the single 400 for the time being. That way at a later date I can upgrade to a secondary 400 and still pull equal wattage. Also added a 6in inline fan to help keep the tent cooler. Sitting around 76 -80 now so I'm pretty happy with it. The 400 run quite a bit cooler than the 800 does. The 800 brought my tent up another 10 degrees whereas the 400 unit sits my tent up at 3 degrees. All in all, feeling good about the swap and new lights. Time will tell if I need anything additional come first week of flower 03 - 03/31 - Almost nearing the end of week 2. The girls are doing amazing. Candy Cane is finally catching up and everybody is filling out now. Super cool to see what a week does! 🌱 Each of the ladies received some very light LST last night. Light pull on the leaves downwards to pull the top open and create some more developmental growth. I also decided to run a really light liquid nutrient cycle. I'll post the product and details tonight. Happy growing! 🌱 - Made an executive decision mid morning and decided that 1.5/2g is not a big enough finished pot size for the EM Auto. I moved her to a 5. I was really sceptical since she's doing the best for vegetative growth out of the group but decided to embark on the risk. I consider it a move and not a transplant at this point. When I moved her, I cut the fabric pot in 6 spots down to the base. I let some of the loose dirt fall into a tray and prepared the 5g to accept the 1.5g transfer. I used a single table spoon of the gia green power bloom and coated the hole. I gently misted the outside of the remaining dirt and the EM root base and picked nearly the whole plant up with little to no disturbance whatsoever. (80% of the total potted plant and coco stayed in tact). She went in beautifully and still looks happy. I guess we'll see how much damage has been done come harvest. Fingers crossed that she didn't feel a thing. 👍🌱

Update

Finally the stretched stopped. Cut about 10 tops bent about 20 with 90s. Still right in the lights. They are looking very happy even though they are so close to the light ( thanks to high c02 levels most likely.) Another week or 2 before I cut the temps and co2 levels down. Been trimming all leaves below light line. Stinky and brutally sticky I feel like Clark griswold with pine sap when ever I am bending the tops and such.. I think even with them being in the lights I will still get a few pounds of premium flower to smoke :)

6/21/22-Placed in water fro presoak 6/22/22-Placed into damp paper towel 6/23/22-Seed cracked open so it went into its medium. Watered with about a shot glass of H2O. 6/25/22-Germination!!

Plants are looking ridiculously dank rn. Buds r coming in nicely. Lights on 11.5 hours on and 12.5 off I believe that will speed up flowering. I also gave it 36 hour lights off period b4 I started flower. As u know I gave it a top dressing first day of flower. Well it’s been 3 weeks so I gave them a feeding of coconut water. And not the cheap stuff either. Next week I’ll give it organic fish emulsion, then molasses, and last will be a half molasses half honey mixture. I’ve had no issues mixing sugars as I believe different sugar sources have different benefits. Based on what I read about each of them. Molasses is supposed to be the best. Everyone says that. But I believe coconut water will battle that. Who knows maybe when I grow outdoors I’ll do an experiment and test which sugar will work best. I’ll even test a couple plants with mixed sugar which my hypothesis is that that one will work best.

10 week mark. started flushing. Still not all the way there yet. Assuming less than 2 more weeks hopefully. Smell in the room is almost like oranges.
