Week went very well, still watering every couple of days with plain H20 in the pro mix and perlite medium in a solo cup. I will be transplanting her to a 5.4 gallon airpot here in the next few days. The Strawberry Banana is loving the environment, at around 70% RH and between 79-83 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and around 70 degrees Fahrenheit at night. I am watering every two to three days with just a light watering around the edge of the solo cup. I have coco coir soaking in cal mag solution ready to go in a few days when she is ready for transplant. After transplant she will immediately receive high frequency fertigation every 5 hours or so from lights on and also receive supplemental UV/IR lighting from this Medic Grow Spectrum X. She is currently receiving the V1 Spectrum at 30% which is the blue/veg spectrum. First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. Strong healthy growth with no issues, showing a little side branching early on. Started with light dose of calmag agent as I've soft water here and this will probably continue most of the grow. It's not expensive and I find it eradicates most issues before they start. This is the RF3 version I'm growing next to the older version. Interesting to note the RF3 is shorter with tighter internodal spacing already.

Beautiful canopy going outta these ladies. Colas and tops galore. Just vibrant ,healthy and full of spunk. Booming through bloom and got there bud structuring well underway. They got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up their treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as they are blooming strong now. At day 20 I switched to flowering and sent my light schedule to 12/12 hours of light/darkness, therefore this is the first week of flowering now. I know that these plants from seeds are still to immature to switch to flowering directly, but they will grow slower with 12/12 until they are old enough to flower. This should happen when they are appr. 4 weeks old from germination, then they will be mature enough to be able to flower. I do this, because the Growfor.Life-Closet is limited in its heigth and I want compact and short plants at the end, so i can keep a minimum distance to the LED-lights from SANlight, which are built into the closet. The minimum distance should be appr. 25 cm from the canopy. At Day 25 the biggest three plants (=Double Dutch from Serious Seeds and OG-Kush from Humboldt-Seeds) have grown so many leaves that they start to touch each other and condensed water is building up between them, the plants seem to sweat. This means I have to defoliate the plants again in order to get a better airflow and also to let the light penetrate deeper into the canopy. You can see a video-tutorial for defoliation I made on Day 25. The scissors I use in the video came WITH the closet, they have a special anti-sticky coating and work like a TREAT! During the defoliation I recognize that one sidebranch of a Double Dutch plant is TRIFOLIATE (see in pics!), this means each node grows three instead of two leaves and sidebranches out of it. That is a rare occurrence in cannabis and can be seen like finding a 4-leafed clover. Although this should mean good luck, I also realize more and more fungus gnats flying around and put some sticky yellow strips (=sticky traps for insects) inside the closet. The plants also seem to get a little bit lighter in their green color in general, therefore I decide to start adding nutrients (=PLAGRON-TERRA-BLOOM) to my waterings now. All in all the plants grow like hell (the biggest one is appr. 30 cm tall at the end of week4) and develop excellently...I LOVE THE EXPERIENCE WITH MY GROWFOR.LIFE-CLOSET until now!

She liked training a lot, easy harvest and trim, cured excellently, grown without problems indoors. Enjoyable grow, I’ll be getting the next harvests up soon. cheers

June 7: i think Mimosa Shot likes it to be a bit warmer but she’s doing alright. Long daylight hours now and warm enough so she should make up for a slow-ish start. June 9: loose scrog net is doing the job of keeping the growth tips exposed to light. Very effective. Re-arrange it a bit as needed as the plant grows. No need to even tie it off as the weight of the string is enough. Video is a tip about keeping leaves moist in dry air. Plants are much happier when their leaves also get some moisture to make up for the low humidity. June 12: looks good.

Another week complete. As usual pH problems and accompanying nutrient deficiencies. Keeps swings up every 12hrs. Flowers are stacking in size now. Fingers crossed I can make it to the end. Added final part nutrient today, heading into week 8. 1st indoor, 1st auto.

Little late on the update my bad family. These two are finishing up perfectly and will get the chop this week. One of the three is finished and was just chopped so I'll update as soon as I get all 3's wet weight. Over all I couldn't be happier with how they grew.

Late to update this week. Was out of town and finally I found some time to update. I started giving them a healthy dose of KoolBloom to start finish this grow off. Temperature is getting higher and I wish I started these girls 2 weeks earlier, but hindsight is 420. I think these should be ready by week 9, so i’ll be looking at those trichomes at this stage of the grow. I like mine cloudy. What do you all prefer?

Righttt Start of week 4 Amazing if u find the sweet spot for the distance how much they grow in just 3 days. I've been giving some micro nutrients, and feeding I had small light stress on 2 plants moved the lamp to 50 cm They just started to flower smell is getting strong actually 😅 I think i'm kinda pushing it with 7 plants under a 100 w lamp. But i'm trying to get most out of it. 1 obviously is doing not to great... it's 1/2 orion. His neighbour o top is the 2nd orion

Day 64 my baby is going really well by now, she s been running fast until now and I think that’s enough with fertiliser. From today o start my flush, I will give today my last dose of regulator and from next irrigation just on controlled water until the end of maturation, I want this baby to eat everything . day 65 started flushing. ph controlled water at 6.0 i think 20 more days at max before m Day 68 First check with micro today. The baby looks already milky and amber on the top buds but the rest of the plant is still transparent. I’ll wait at least until this weekend for a re check maybe I’ll cut her in two rounds. As I be been watching a lot with micro I noticed so many dust and other stuff on the buds so I think I’ll wash her in water. Today watered ph 6. Let’s see! 🌱🔥🌱🔥🌱🔥🔥

What a difference a week makes, now starting week 4 and moved them up into their final pots now that I have some space in the tent and they are currently under 600w dual spec and a 315w daylight, I have topped 5 of the 6 but left one as it looks like it’s a stocky plant anyway, they all look like they should be impressive plants so far and visibly growing by the day 😊
