Wow what a week this has been, the plants have all undergone fair dramatic changes. A real flurry of leaf yellowing, pistil darkening/curling, and bug swelling. The smell is really coming along now, I think we're really quite close to harvest. On the assumption that pre-flowering was two weeks, this strain should be ready at the end of week seven flowering, so in the case of this diary the end of week nine (i.e. one week to go!). Pistils are about 70-80% amber, and the lower pistils on buds have started curling inward. Trichomes look to me to be something like 10% clear 80% Milky 10% White. I have smoke tested a small bud off the lower part of plant 3 today after quick-drying overnight in the airing cupboard, taking into consideration the obvious chlorophyll from the fast dry, the high was much closer to what I am expecting than the last smoke test. It came on at the normal pace, was quite effective, and lasted a good while. I am really hoping I can navigate my way through the next process, as I feel quite close now to having some home grown bud for the first time. The plants are being well watered this evening with just water, and this will be the last time that I water them until harvest. I will continue to monitor these daily, I intend to harvest at the first sign of any amber trichome. Advice and comments welcomed. P.S. Exciting news! hey guys here with the new release from fastbuds thanks to those guys for the testers . Will be starting as usual in coco ecothrive to be precise pictured above with a pinch of mykos mixed in. To germinate I always make a hole with my little finger to the first knuckle drop the seed in and cover , water very slowly around the edge of the pot until you get runoff like the video shown . Then i put them on a plastic or paper plate onto the heatmat (not directly on it as it dries the media too quick) in a dark place and the longest iv had to wait is 4 days after that as soon as they break the coco I put them under a small 12w led/cfl light (pictured above) 6500k at around 15 cm as this helps build a good root sytem ready for transplant will be on no nutes this week will start on plant start and katana roots next week at this point i have no fan running just the light will add a fan to sturdy her next week. will only get one maybe 2 very small waterings this week depending on how quick the media dries thanks for reading happy growing guys

The first picture day 44! Well, we've finally got the purple colours coming in very strongly! Even the fan leaves are turning purple. The progression of the pigment looks like a pathogen has taken over but it's just the cool genetics of this plant. Smell is increasing, they have a very sweet odor so far when crushing the flowers. Still nowhere near harvest but the buds and calyxes are starting to stack. Very exciting that I got this one to grow!

I got a smart plug for my humidifier and modded the button with an Arduino so that it turns on automatically when powered. Now I have events in my home Assistant on raspberry pi which will keep the VPD within a specified range. Every since then, the plants have been SO much happier and I have piece of mind now. I'm hoping these plants can pull through the stress, but I planted 4 more bag seeds just in case, they will sprout soon. I did some LST because why not. Accidentally broke a stem but I squeezed it together so now I have to pray.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Plant is doin ok I noticed she's a little bit smaller than other phenotypes, but soon she will grow like a monster as she prepares for flowering stage, so I decided to start LST. As you can imagin guys, is my first LST and you may guess what happened 😢 Yes I broke a branch (with little sprouds) , Will I have serious consequences at harvesting? ****I confess i smoked the broken branch and the leaves (haven't smoke in months!) Man, now I can see this will be some trippy sh^t****

well well well we have 157 grams, I know they don't look it but are like little rocks, Zero popcorn ...Well happy about that 😄I certainly wasn't expecting her to cross 100g mark but she surprised me. what a plant to grow man ! 😍 its been amazing start to finish with this one. No hard work, no fuss. couldn't quiet give her more darkness at the end as planned due to the other white widow (pheno#2), it had 3 weeks to go yet, didn't want to disturb her. the clone I took off the harvested WW, is 3 feet tall now. Healthy Mum with a green gelato, Next run is SOG Green gelato + White widow !! can't wait 😶 Smoke is clean. Citrus and piney with hints of sweet gassy under tones. I hoping for some good growth this week and planning on topping all the plants for the first time. I'll also be adding a air intake fan and filter this week. This will help maintain levels of CO2 in the tent as well as bring in warm air to help maintain Temps. Also once it's not below zero degrees lol ill connect the intake to draw air from outside which will be cooler. The air intake is coming into the tent from the bottom and then exhausted back out. The air intake will also allow me to turn up my outtake without the issue of negative pressure. I'll also be adding all organic organacide prevention measures this week. The ladies are still coming out of a week where they were over watered. Most of them are looking good, one has dry leaves and not looking hot. I'm thinking she will pull through as there is still new growth daily. Day 15 Feb 15th- No water today. Topped Tahoe OG today. I miss counted nodes and wished I would have waited one more node, but oh well. Day 16 Feb 16th- No water Day 17 Feb 17th- All plants received 30 ML of water directed at the stem as well as a foliar spraying to wet the top of the soil. Added air intake. Humidity set back to 65. Gently bent leaves down to expose undergrowth Day 18 Feb 18th- plants had explosive growth over night 😁. All plants recieved 90 ML of water. Water had Mykos. Gently bent leaves down to expose undergrowth. Day 19 Feb 19th- all plants recieved 1 solo cup full of water. Only one plant had a tiny bit of run off. Plants looking healthy. Day 20 Feb 20th- No water today. Turned on air intake. Turned off humidifier. Day 21 Feb 21st- No water today. Upon inspection at end of light cycle from yesterday saw fungus gnats. I assume it'd from the previous overwater and never letting soil completely dry. Drying soil.. have neem oil ready to go if need. Upon inspection if lights on same or less gnats. Only about 5. Trimmed first leaves and singles from all plants.

this grow is actually the biggest grow i ever had in my life (indoor) this is actually insane what head buds can form with the proper training and care taking of the plants💪👽 happy growing all!👌😁

Harvest YAY! It's been an epic mission but we made it!! Plant 2 is slightly heavier than Plant 1. I'll update with dry weights in a week.

Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of this little Sundae Driver, so I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didn't do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I won't make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. Not sure why GD website doesn't allow me to enter GHE under the old or new name. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for the Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I don't need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep these ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so.
