The smell is getting intensive!

Week5 the temperatures dropped a bit and I did what I could...❄️❄️ Earlier this week I had to flush this little one because I thought she had nitrogen toxicity. Maybe not... But From the water that ran out I realized that the soil was full of nuts and after the flush I didn't give it any more water. as I use a 12 liter vase, you can imagine how much water was retained in the root system. for that reason and because the water is good quality and has an amount of micronutrients, I didn't have to worry about giving water this week. let's see next week, wish me luck 🤞☺️🌞

So far so good, we are at the 5 veg week, the hulk berry is shooting up many pre-flowers. The RO water has been great, using this clean water is much better and you see a strong difference, and you are able to dial the ppm/ec without the interference of random stuff plus the chloride and fluoride that comes with tap water in my region. This version of the Hulkberry i have is a bit more on the sensible side of things, se feels already if you keep touching her, also better not to nuke this strain with nutrients from what i have seen so far, so I’m going easy on her. The other two strains form Kannabia, one been the unstable version of Purpple Kush, got many aliens already out of some seeds, and ironically a Lucky dip, mystery strain is extreamely vigorous and nice to work with. A side from that i have chosen two HLG QB324 V2 quantum board with a Meanwell 320H-54a driver to build a DIY light, with passive Heatsink and 90 degree optics to power the flower tent, so basically i will move this plants to the other tent in a week or two when i get this build. This is a huge step up for me since i was using a generic Chinese blurple led. My setup changed a lot and i will try to keep things consistent, i may have some adaptation going on to drive all this new perpetual style grow.

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

OK so this week I have officially changed yje light cycle and have been running a 12/12 and will of course carry that on now until the end if we get there. The food amounts have now changed on to flowering amounts and even though the plants are different in size they both look really well. I have started to feed them both the following Micro 32ml Grow 12ml Bloom 48ml Ph is 6.0 These amounts are based on 20 litres of water. So I am hoping to see changed and some flower heads popping through (I hope). Let's wait and see what happens as again this is my first 12/12 run. So really hoping for the best here lol. Hi! The plants received a major defoliation on its 21 days from switching to 12/12. This action aim to give more light to the lower buds and focus on bud growing instead of fan leaves production. I also adjusted the scrog net to the canopy after defoliation. The leaves was dropped on the same soil bed (law of return). The light panel was fixed to 60cm far from the canopy and it’s now at its max potency (240W). Providing 900PPFD to the highest point of the canopy, making 38DLI. Temp and humidity remains the same, that’s a risk since humidity is pretty high in my city. 60-70% rH, 27-40°C. Let’s watch some bud grow from now on, I’m not planning big turning points anymore, just letting it grow. That’s it :)

I also made a new 10L feed, and added it to the reservoir, there was still 2850 ml in the reservoir, so i can calculate how much they get per watering. Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 21-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 19.3 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 66% (highest) 54% (lowest) No pictures. 22-4 Temperature: 23.7 degrees (lights on) 19.7 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 67% (highest) 42% (lowest) Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 23-4 Temperature: 23.6 degrees (lights on) 17.7 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 50% (lowest)

Week 15 - 06/21 - 06/27 Light - 200 W HPS & 265 W LED Day Temperature - 78 F Night Temperature - 68 F Humidity - 40 +/-5 D50 Flower - Fed the ladies and raised the HPS and LED lights up and turned the HPS down to 200 W, I am trying to emulate fall by lowering the amount of light. D53 Flower - Fed the ladies again, I think this may have been the last feeding of nutrients. The next watering I will hopefully start flushing. D55 Flower - Noticed some of the leaves are starting to fade and turn yellow. Hopefully, that means they are getting close to harvest, I should be cutting them down next week. D56 Flower - Was on a trip and had to water the ladies with a timer and pump, thankfully everything worked fine. Started flushing with FloraKleen.

Excellente reprise du feuillage comme vous pouvez le constater c'est un véritable buisson, le tronc est en forme de "T" j'ai attacher les branches principales et résultats au moin une vingtaine de branche secondaire on former une masse comme si j'avais fait un SCROG, cette variété est surprenant... je vais aussi tiré le tronc depuis le bas pour éviter que le tronc ce casse en 2 sur le milieu car vu la masse du feuillage je ne sais pas si le tronc va supporter tout le poid

Ya era hora de cosechar, estoy bastante contento con los resultados. Vaya flores que se han marcado repletas de tricomas, y las flores se marcan aromas dulces y afrutados. Es una variedad bastante fácil de cultivar y muy resistente, crecieron desde el principio bien vigorosas, sin problemas y al final de todo recompensó.
