Major issues with calcium def for no reason and a weird re veg, and the utter lack of mould resistance. Plant was tall and buds are huge and dense, let's hope the taste is phenomenal.

This will be the ladies last week of Veg, they will be flipped to flower at the end of the week. I have been increasing the nutrients steadily, and rotating between heavy, light and low nutrient mixes. They have been steadily getting taller and bushier. Temps have remained steady in the high 70’s and low 80’s while RH has come down a bit to between 55 and 60%. I won’t be doing much training for these girls, and I won’t be running a SCROG this time around. I’ll need to make another custome size for my tent now that I have a much larger setup. It is slowly coming to an end. Since the middle of the week, the ladies have been receiving nothing but water with Canna Boost. I did some defoliating so that more light reaches all the buds.

She is fully in flower now and is stretching 😻, hoping she stretches a lot more tho. She wasn't very thirsty, she only needed 2,4l of water. I again used 4ml of biobizz grow and bloom. I also removed a few leaves to make sure that every budsite gets enough sunlight.

Great week!!! What a resilient plant, a few different times now I’ve come up with issues, I attempt to diagnose and compensate with my limited growing knowledge and the thing just keeps coming back better and healthier and stronger then before. So far, I am very happy with this strain, Dresden Green Diamond from the Garden of Green seed company because it’s been so easy for a beginner like me and it’s going so well. Looks like they are either sold out or they discontinued the strain possibly I got them as freebies with my order on Seedsman but yea super happy with it. So on to the meat and potatoes of this week. I realized the biggest issue that I have now is going to be controlling the heigh of the plant. It’s only a 4 foot tent. The pot takes at least a foot of height space away, the light is currently as high as the pulley system allows and is still hanging down a foot from the top. (I may have to end up just juryrigging a new attachment system for it to get more space. Also the plant is now about a foot tall and the light is 10 inches away. I’ve heard that they can double or more in height during flowering which would be a problem. So what to do? I topped it this week for the first time. Hoping that will redirect some of the plants energy into developing the lower branches, of which I have a healthy number. So I’m hoping they will catch up with the top of the plant and I just have a bunch of top sites. There are also 2 new top branches starting to grow from the top site. As soon as they are big enough I will bend them at a 90 degree angle to try and prevent it from going any taller than this point. I haven’t got around to it yet but I will begin LST this week as well to spread the branches out a bit and have them more horizontal to fill up more of my space. Overall, things are going great.

I transplanted yesterday into their final homes. The substrate is soil, worm castings, peat and perlite + the roots of my old francos lemon cheese (torn up). The soil is very moist, so I wont be watering for a little while. Pictures coming soon

Day 60 today! It says from harvest to seedling 67 days, but it’s lookin pretty good? The top especially, The bottom seems to be more clear I’ll move a light around and try to get it facing that way. She’s had plain water for the past week. She smells so good! I’m super excited to taste it and see an end weight! 🤩 💨

4/10 Hey all. So I obviously slacked off on keeping a journal. Easier said than done when life gets busy. This is for anyone who took a passing interest in this plant because this was a relatively new strain from In-house.When I last left, I was reporting yellowing in the plant and general sadness in how she looked. Long story short, I think it was the enviornment it struggled with. I ended up switching it to my "warmer" tent that was closer to the space heater. It ended up growing more when I did this. That being said, it never seemed to fully recover. I ended up flipping to 12/12 (not recommended if you have a struggling plant) only because I was starting to run out of space. Fortunately for me, it seems like the plant has never been healthier. The buds are coming in nicely thus far and smell great. I think spring came just in time for her. The tent now routinely gets up to about 75-77 degrees F instead of the balmy 72-69 F I was dealing with months ago. Regardless, this journal WILL have a happy ending. Happy growing everyone.

Apologies that this took me so long to update! This harvest was probably my second favorite, after my Choc Mint OG. Even tho the yeild was low due to only having 1 plant after a season on downs.

Hey Friends, end of week 8 from seed :) Many new things have occurred this week Plant 1 is beginning to mature, its not growing in height as much as before but now its getting thicker and looking stronger. I am slowing increasing the amount of nutrition, I don't want to burn them at this stage. I noticed some of the leaf stems were turning red, so I decreased the light and its turning back to green. Did some defoliation this week to give more room to the smaller leaves. Plant was getting taller and was too close to the grow Light so I installed some netting inside the tent and it helped control the height for now, if it gets taller ill purchase a bigger grow tent 😩 Looking forward in seeing some bud formation in week 9, will keep you guys posted. Almost one week of flushing and they’re showing signs. It smells full on like apples in the box and the buds themselves have an amazing smell. I think that they’ll be done in a week so keep posted.

Last week went good for the first week of flower, having trouble again with my ph meter....ughhh. Ordered 2 new ph meters this week, a decent 4 in 1 (ph/ec/ppm/temp) pen and plug in, 3 in 1 (ph/ec/temp) meter with leads to leave in my res(my second one for my second res). Also got more calibration solution, and storage solution. Sick of second guessing my crappy pens, gonna start fresh will all new ph equipment. Lol but she really started to stretch out this week, with the little amount of lst I did to her just before flip she has really bulked up and spread out. 10 days into flower now and she is still stretching and being tucked. I removed a few of the larger guard leaves up top to open up the secondary shoots to light, I have around 40000 lux at the first screen and they seem to be handling it nicely. I will be doing a major underclipping and removing everything below the first net in a few days time I think. I flipped this tent without filling the screen and I’m hoping to keep everything low and tucked until the stretch is almost finished, then let them bud up into the higher lux, hopefully keeping them less then a foot above the screen. That’s the plan anyway. Lol well that’s it for this week, Cheers💨
