Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

She was super easy to grow. After figuring out she loved to feed, I began mixing her own nutrients separately and within a week had any deficiencies in check. She kept to a regular cycle of regular feed, light feed, then straight ph’d water. This kept her healthy all throughout. No signs of disease or pests, she performed Like a champ and ended up giving me a little over 6 oz of dense gassy buds. She took a full 10 weeks, and I probably could have given her a few more days, but she is already a very potent smoke, something that is great in the day time for me. For the price of these beans, $45 for 5 feminized seeds, I would highly recommend the 34 street seed Pink Kush strain 🇨🇦👊❤️

During the week she was transplanted into her final 30L pot after the roots started spiraling at the bottom of the 0.5L container. The substrate (80% Light-Mix soil & 20% perlite) was prepared following BioTabs guidelines. To fine-tune the mix, I added 1 g/L of Dolomite Lime to help stabilize pH and provide Calcium and Magnesium, plus 1 g/L of Primary Rock Dust / Basalt Dust (still need to grab some BioTabs Silicium Flash!). For watering, I'm using a 50/50 mix of tap water and RO water (Tap specs: pH 8.5, Ca: 51 mg/L, Mg: 9 mg/L). Given the size of the new pot, I’ll be taking extra care to water lightly and sparingly for now. The transplant went smoothly without a hitch. Now I’m letting her settle in and recover before we dive into some High-Stress Training (HST). Overall, she’s looking super healthy and growing nicely! The plants have been on cruise control 🛳️ so far and they’re loving every second of it! Despite all of them being popped around the same time, I can see the purple lemonade finishing up much faster than the lsd-25’s. No deficiencies to my eyes, slowly plumping up day by day 🤘

Big Bitch Downunder 19th April 2024 11 weeks of flowering finished 😀 The buds are fattening up nicely now and are covered in big trichomes . The smell is getting better and better every week and I am anticipating a fantastic sativa harvest. As usual cheers for stopping by 👍

7/18/21 - They are looking good! Harvest day is coming and we are excited. We have just a few days left. Giving ph 6.0 water. 7/19/21 - Everything looks good. On track for harvest! 7/20/21 - Looking good. Just a few more days left before we chop. The final ripening is going on. 7/21/21 - We are preparing the drying room. The buds look awesome! We have mason jars for curing after the dry. 7/22/21 - These plants stink so good! Tomorrow we cut both plants down! They will be drying in 70 degrees temp and 56% humidity. 7/23/21 - We pushed back harvest one day due to a medical emergency. No biggie, the plants will ripen one extra day. 7/24/21 - HARVEST DAY!! - We cut the plants, removed all fan leaves and hung in a temperature/humidity controlled room. More pics/videos/weight and more will be added when we are finished drying and we post our harvest results. The smell is of strong pine and a little sweet. We are very excited to try the smoke. This week was the last week of veg., I will switch to 12/12 (light/darkness) in week 6. The two Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are now 35 and 40 cm tall and have developed nice side-branches, which have grown upwards so they get enough light for good budding sites during flowering. The plants are still fed following the Advanced Nutrients schedule.

Day 63 I cut out the bottom of my tent to raise it to the top of the rdwc buckets giving me another 15" of space. It was getting tight and i don't want to keep dimming my light. Had to remove my screen, I'll build in another one if the buds get too heavy. Starting week four in flower for the two on the left (few days seperation) starting week 2ish for the girl on far right.

The time has come!!!! I was gonna give it a couple more days but I’m too antsy and want to get this girl drying already. I will be cutting her down at the end of today she has been getting straight water these past week she isn’t getting any color just yellowing of the leaves. She smells minty when defoliating but the buds smell skunky and dank asf. Light green buds remind me of old school weed I used to smoke in HS shits amazing.
