I had a really great time growing these girls. The question regarding smell went out the window when they were drying!!! I had move my carbon filter and fan out the tent and in the living room. The smell was leaking out the apartment!! I’ve only sampled one of the 5 sisters. Who look so different. But all have the same smell for the most part. Gonna cure them all for the minimum 2weeks and see what that does tobyhe smell and taste also potency. Back to sample test very smooth smoke it was a tiny bit greeny in flavor. WEEK 3 of flower, A lot went on this week. The watering's in between feeding were made up of CAL MAG and SILICA and I boosted the P & K in the feeding, another round of defoliation and a deep watering after the feeding dried up from last week. I have seen a minuscule amount of nutrient burn only on a few leaves, 1 or 2 at most. It looks like the increase in canopy can handle the extra food, If you see the time lapse it was in 8 days and the stretch is very apparent a super speed version at the end ala Gary Numan,

I think I'm getting real close to harvest. I'm fairly nervous about the drying and curing. Think I'm mostly going to use brown paper bags as I'm not sure I can control the humidity well enough in my grow space. The last 4 rounds of watering I've given nutes twice. Usually I go 6 cycles of watering fertalizing twice. Maybe this too was a bad idea and I'm going to start flushing soon anyway. Possibly one more round of nutes in a couple days.

Week 16

Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are looking good and on schedule for a couple of changes. Nutrients: 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) PH: the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work - starting at a PH of around 7.6 - 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. Lights: The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights were increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Both plants are taking nicely to the adjustments and I am happy with the progress. Temp and humidity are stable and PH is controlled. Day 11 - The second nodes are clearly visible today for both Chong and Max which would hopefully put them at 3 nodes by the end of the week - right on schedule! Day 13 - The ladies seem to be showing some signs of heat stress, so thinking about adjusting the lights after their period of dark today because they are due to be adjusted tomorrow anyway for the new week of veg

7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split. This is exactly the 🇲🇦 morroccan 🇲🇦 way of sifting resin from kief. Traditionally, apart the hand rubbing method, dry sifting through a mesh is the most used way to obtain resin, from 🇦🇫 Afghanistan 🇦🇫 or 🇳🇵Nepalese 🇳🇵 Mountains to 🇲🇦 Morocc 🇲🇦 Rif passing through Bekaa valley in 🇱🇧Lebanon 🇱🇧. The average size of meshes used vary from 90 to 180 microns and are mostly made by silk and for this reason uneven. I think the most productive ways to sift are Dry Ice and  rotating pollinator + CO2, I've tried a DIY pollinator built by a friend and it can reach up to 20/25% of resin extracted at 120 microns and 15% at 90 microns. But smell and taste don't reach that traditionally extracted but this is another story. Morroccan way is good compromise between a stashbox or more evolute methods. It requires less than 10 dollar of expenses. You need: a basin or pot  without handles a heavy-duty plastic bag that contains the basin a pair of chopsticks a good 120 microns net an elastic band tape Kif or trim q.s. This week they really exploded and all new growth is lush and green so they seemed to have settled very well after the composttea. The grape&cream #1 & #2 are starting to catch up to #3 as ive been bending and topping #3 a little more. Due to the blumats keeping their soil moist ive just put in about 200ml of composttea in each pot. All cuttings have rooted so far with just some pokon run of the mill cloning powder so thats a good thing to keep in mind. As we head into week 4 ive seen the possibility to do some defoliation and supercropping to try to get a bit of an even canopy. Keep you posted!

My Strawberry Gorilla plant is coming along, though it's a bit more delicate than my Gorilla Cookies. It's still showing some nice growth under the lights, but it's definitely a bit more sensitive. I'm keeping a close eye on it, and I'm hopeful that it'll start to thrive soon. I'm starting to get a faint whiff of that sweet, fruity aroma, so I know there's potential there! This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!
