05/06/2021 - Day 14 - First day of the 3rd week. MEMO: I'm using the following "names" for differentiating the two both in comments and pics: 🅰️ - "A" for the one transplanted in the garden soil and that will NOT receive any nutrient; 🅱️ - "B" for the one that will grow in the pot and that will receive nutrients. 👉 "A"is struggling a little after the transplant. Probably suffered a little or maybe she is focusing on the roots, idk. She is little if compared to "B" but she looks healthy so lets' go. 👉 "B" is GIANT! compared to "A". Can't say if the reason is the pot, the fertilizer, the luck or just the difference in transplant time, anyway she is flying 😂 Stem a little bended and unstable because he overgrew and had to cover it last week but not a big problem. Summer has come, sun is warm, all perfect. This week I'll probably proceed feeding "B" with "Easy Grow Booster Tablet" by RQS. Beginning of week 5 and I finally started to LST the lady's. Had to give time for blueberrys recovery from getting FIMed lol. To be honest I'm gonna let them grow another week and transplant week 6 into there final pots. So this week will be the start of a very long and dedicated process of maintaing a good canopy. Overall I think flowering should be 3 weeks away. Not trying to have a monster harvest on my first go around. My focus is to just succeed at my first grow and be proud of my personal stash at the end of this awesome journey. I plan on starting a new grow after this one so I know what to expect and plan bigger and better, this is more of a test run to see if I can grow good weed indoors. So far so good. Day 30- Topped Alaskan purple.

Looks absolutely awesome. This is my first photoperiod and you can really tell the difference in density and overall quality. She did 35g dry. So I achieved less than 1€/g cost per gram for the frist time! The biggest factor obviously beeing the shorter light cycle compared to the autoflowers I usually run. To save cost it might be smart to give the autos 12/12 as well. I will stick to 18/6 tho. Total Runtime: 82 days -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Set up cost (fixed costs) -Lamp: 40€ -Timer: 3,5€ -Pot: 4€ -Total fixed costs: 47,5€ Given 5 years (or 15 grows) usage time translates to around 3,17€ per grow in materials. This week is looking good and the babies are coming along great, I'm loving the way pheno 1 is so symmetric, large and in charge! I started out this grow with a bit of a hick up because of the pandemic but I tell you one thing, foliar feeding saved my plants! I foliar feed my seedlings at around 200ppm I use some micro nutes, along with amino mix to foliar feed. The foliar feeding definitely makes the plants more robust, they end up feeling hard and strong! I Usually foliar feed until I flip to flower then no more!

I guess dude was right about it foxtailing but I don’t care and I don’t think I can do anything about anyway. My light is at 50%. She is only getting 600 ppfd and I’d have to check again but I know the DLI is under 30, I want to say it was 25 or 26. Temps never go above 76° lights on but typically stay at 74°. Idk if it is light stress then i don’t understand how ppl run these high wattage lights. Maybe I’ll try the co2 bottle again

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Que pasa familia, vamos con la cuarta semana de floración de estas FBA2506 de FastBuds. De las 5 plantas, retiré una y me quede con 4 , preselección. La tierra que utilizamos que está en la publicación anterior es top crop all mix, Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2, regando cada 48 horas e intentando mantener la humedad en torno al 50 %. Las flores ya están progresando y están cogiendo las 4 un tono morado bastante curioso. Un ejemplar sigue un poco sobrefertilizado, es la única con la que me corto para alimentar. Las próximas semanas vamos viendo cómo florecen y avanzan. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨
