Hello friends! Here’s the skinny on my grow “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’m going to split this up a bit so it’s easier to follow, this will be a long one :) ~ Progress Day 56 ~ There’s been a lot of growth happening since I got this new light from KINGLED, genuinely surprised. I could notice the difference within hours that my little ones where love’n the light! Compared to last week the difference is huge (to me). I was using a Bestva LED light for my grows up to this point. I read reviews and thought that would be the best light (Bestva) within my current budget. But my plants didn’t seem happy, or growing at an expected rate, I thought I was doing something wrong. Well long story short the KINGLED has made a impact on my plants, I can’t believe all I needed was more light. I will post the light specs below if you’re interested. Now i’m gonna jump right into this weeks growth. I’ll separate each plant below and provide details on height and structure. ~ Individual Progress Notes ~ [CBD Blueberry] Height: 6.0" Tops: 8 Notes: Smallest of the mothers, and she has a weird asymmetrical growth pattern, the nodes don’t match evenly, not sure what mutation this is. It could be that this strain doesn’t like being mainlined.. If this negatively impacts the overall yield and quality I will kill off this mother plant and clones. I have 2 more seeds to germ so it’s not a total loss. [Mazar] Height: 8.0" Tops: 8 Notes: This girl is responding the best to the mainline experiment, I’m excited to clone her off later. Nice symmetrical growth :) [White Widow] Height: 6.1" Tops: 8 Notes: I honestly thought she would be the runt, guess not! Though not the biggest she has the phatest leaves and thickest canopy. I can only wonder what the next few weeks will be like. Must clone! [Super Silver Haze] Height: 7.2" Tops: 8 Notes: Another that’s responding well to the treatment. I’d like to clone her of as well as soon as there is enough growth for me to collect samples. I’ve only had this strain once so I’m hoping this will be as good or better, who knows :) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 8.0 Tops: 8 Notes: I lost the clone to this girl, I'll need a replacement(s) to test before I flower, more stretch than the others, hmm (both 1 & 2 need to be tested via clones) [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 9.0 Tops: 8 Notes: This girl is very stretchy and her clone is insane! Thickest stalk out of any of my girls? I don't know why but she is phat, love it. Check out my diary "A Few Clones" if you're interested in this possible monster of a plant :) ~ Concerns ~ My only real concern at this point is mite and insect control. This grow is in the garage so that’s not especially easy to avoid. Staying vigilant and nuke’n everything that moves (without harming my plants) is working so far. Those pesky mites and other fan favorite insects! I swear I’ll get my revenge >:( ~ Final Thoughts ~ Other than the local mite population making claims to my property, I’m very satisfied with this weeks progress. Installing the ducting and fans was the hardest chore I had to do, and now that’s taken care of. Before I finish up I want to apologize for not being as detailed and thorough these past few weeks. Now this is a bit personal but I’m willing to share it with ya’ll. My mother has stage 4 cancer, yeah… It hasn’t hit me like a train yet, but I’m still suffering. I’m trying to prepare myself in the event she doesn't make it through chemo and that’s a tough pill to swallow friends. Hopefully I can produce some cbd medicine for her to ease her pain, and help to improve her quality of life. Continued w/ the feeding schedule for this week. I used about 1.5-2 solo cups of water for this 1 gal fabric pot. Just enough to have the coco wet.

Day 22 22/07/24 Monday Nothing new to report. Starting to see them beautiful fans appear that's all 😁✌️ Day 23 23/07/24 Tuesday Feed today, giving them straight all nutes Inc flowering nutes. I will update the dose as they grow and develop a bigger hunger. (Not sure what's wrong with Overdose #2, bit mutated, we'll see how she gets on 😅) Video updates 👌💚 Day 26 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update.

The Queen is definitly in good shape, and look stronger days after days... The leaves have a better color, not that lime green anymore, thanks to the rempoting in a 30L pot with fresh All-mix from Biobizz :) There is a HUGE amount of bud sites, this is incredible. I'm trying to defoliate,, but I'm to the point buds making shadow to other buds... So I'm doing my best, removing what can be removed. Lot of leaves showing trichomes, even big ones, It's also verry impressive... I will definitly be abble to make some hash out of the trim. I never did that before, so that's a new process I need to learn. I will probably set the trim to the freezer and see this later. I'm providing only 50% of recommended dose of Bio-grow and bio-bloom for now. I'll increase the dose slowly with next feedings. Day 98 : Saw a dammmmn thrips. Only one, but the plant is so big that it's definitly impossible to check everywhere. I really wonder how he can survive in this trichome amazonia 😅 I applied Bio-bizz leaf coat on the plant, I hope this will keep thrips under control. But at this stage, there is nothing I can really do. But the plant is strong, I'm sure she's going to win this fight ^^

So this plant is the slowest growing of all my plants. It's received all the same feedings and nuets my other plants have, but just refuses to actually grow. lol It's bushed out and kind of quit growing. I'm going to keep it around and hope it snaps out of it, I'm not in a huge rush anyways. It got a feeding of liquid seaweed, black strap molasses, and some URB in R/O water this past week. Just kind of plan to keep it off to the side and let it do it's thing.

We're into the start of September and they've only just begin flowering. Hopefully they get to finish. It's looking to be mid to late October!

So like I said. I don't follow directions to the T. Some said wait until 3 sets of true leaves come out to transplant, but I went ahead and just moved Ting 2 from plastic cup into 2 gallon cloth pot, using Fox Farm Ocean Forest. There's some leftover coco that I had from P4Ps blend that she is nestled in. I noticed her growth slowed down just a tad compared to Ting 1, but Ting 2 is still showing healthy growth with a great color and additional leaves still coming in. Remember, Ting 2 was sown directly into the medium without paper towel since OG Ting 2 went down the drain on accident. So I'm not concerned that she's just a bit smaller than Ting 2. They sit on the windowsill where they can get some tropical sun, but I do use supplemental lighting from a $35 4 head, 200 watt, LED grow light from Amazon. No high dollar lights over here. I'm just starting out and want to harness nature as much as possible for my indoor grow. I keep lights on an 18/6 schedule. I know some people do 24 hours, but IMO, plants need actual darkness to do their biological processes, and reach their full potential. For watering, I use a spray bottle to mist and keep top soil moist, and I water directly around the seedling. I'm impressed at how the Pot4Pot plant is quickly growing. For those unfamiliar with Pot4Pot it provides you with everything you need to grow autos. It came with coco, jiffy pellet, soil, diatomaceous stuff, and some growth hormone powder to mix into top soil. I picked the small 1/2 gallon kit. This plant already looks better than the one I tried to grow in December and officially died today. I am VERY curious to see how Pot4Pot grow will compare to some good old Ocean Forest. Also wanted to note I've placed the pots in front of a window that gets fed tradewinds that have touched lush mountains and ocean spray. Totally romanticized what is just a breezy window, but for real, it's a mountain breeze which could contribute to a great tasting bud.

My Skunk Apple Run plant is still a bit young, but I can see those buds starting to form. It's a bit of a slow starter, with buds popping up all over the place instead of a nice even line. We'll see if adjusting the light cycle or its food might help it along. I'll keep you posted on any changes. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.
