With summer temperatures well above 30°C ☀️🌡️, their water demand has increased significantly, and each plant is currently drinking around 4.5 liters per day 💧. Interestingly, both plants display completely different growth patterns. One is developing into a tall, column-like structure , while the other resembles a classic Christmas tree shape 🌲. Despite their different architectures, both plants look exceptionally healthy and vigorous 💚✨. To support soil life and overall plant health, they receive either a compost tea ?🍵 or a nettle and horsetail ferment 🌿 once a week, alternating between the two. With the current conditions, the coming weeks should be very exciting! ☀️🌱

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #2 is just an enormous plant with tons of bud sites and flowers that are starting to get a coating of white trichomes giving them that frosty appearance! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic, both are amazing cultivars with a generous coating of trichomes beginning to cover their flowers. I gave the lady's a litle haircut at the start of the week, and started using Bud ignitor on the Canna feed Cherry's to speed things up a bit😉 I also Switched the lady's to 12/12 on the 10th of november. Rock on Growmies 🌱

Bro’s first grow, he’s made a decent DIY Aero/Hydroponic system the girl is coming along great with. A few issues with temps an seemed she got a little growth stun in her early weeks all good now though she’s just coming into flower and is looking good. Happy growing peeps 👍 🌱

I got the 3 starting seeds from an exchange with a redditor who accidentally pollinated his batch with a male, meaning I didn't start with the best genetic which in the end, probably induced the hermie. It turned out good overall but it did fuck up a lot of things. I never thought 4 weeks of veg would be too much. They got tall in no time and almost tripled in height during the flowering stretch. Light burn had a significant impact on the trichome production of certain buds. The mold is on me. I should have controlled the conditions better. I had to throw away 10-15g because of it. And really nothing guarantees I removed it all. Plant B produced, in the books, a lot less than her sisters and that can be explained by 3 factors: -Mold attacked it more than the others; -I probably switched 1 or maybe 5 (who knows...) whole branches when they fell from the rope during the drying; -I left a lot of tiny popcorn buds that got separated in the ''to be extracted'' jar. The 3 plants were pretty similar in looks but gave rather different seeds. A, the hermie, gave a lot of seeds in general but almost half of them were immature or wonky and got discarded; B, a female, gave a lot of good ones but also quite a few bad ones. The have nice stripes giving them a tiger look; C, another female, still hasn't been plucked of all it's seeds but the ones I already collected are really big, round and mat. Plant A pollinated itself. Plant B got helped by me but C didn't received help from me nor the wind and still got hit, a lot less, but still. I'll never underestimate the propagation power of pollen again. FINAL HARVEST: PLANT A: - 91g - 281 viable seeds PLANT B: - 28g - 297 viable seeds PLANT C: - 89g - 149 viable seeds 167 mixed seeds from ABC EXTRACT MATERIAL: - 9g TOTAL: 217g / 894 seeds Height by weeks: 1 - 7 cm 2 - 20 cm 3 - 32 cm 4 - 49 cm Switch 5 - 81 cm 6 - 107 cm 7 - 120 cm 8 - 124 cm 9 - 125 cm 10 - 126 cm 11 - 126 cm 12 - 128 cm 13 - 128 cm Nice experience overall. A lot of thing could have gone better but the fact is I got a bunch of seeds for future pheno hunting and God knows I'll need to do some to straighten the genetic. See you all then!

She is getting fat! What a great plant she is - again, little to no deficiencies, other than some light burn but I could not complain to have such strong genetics for my first ever grow! Trichomes are not too cloudy, so still a while to go but what an AUTO!

D1. Three of them make it to 2cm in three days, the fourth one already rooted but taking it easy, I watered them a bit and covered the lazy one to blackout and see if she can do it 💪 Lighting at 8.5 DLI (100 PPFD@24h) with the lamp dimmed at 57cm from the soil. D2. The lazy seed still struggling to sprout but seems she's so close to make it since she's already out the soil. The three strong ones already grew to 4 cm in 24 hours, +2 cm, a growing rate of 0,83mm per hour. Following the seedling schedule lighting now will be at 12 DLI the whole first week. D3. The seedlings are growing strong except the little lazy one, I had to help her sprouting this morning using tweezers since both leaves were trapped inside the seed not being able to open by itself, unlike the other ones that did it by themselves three days ago. Will she gonna make it? Let's give her time 💪 D5. The red worms look very active but the leaf tips are curling up so I moved from 24h lighting to 20h and let em rest a bit keeping 12 DLI and 80% humidity while lowering temp at night from 25°C to 23°C. The lazy seedling still so small and definitely don't match their sisters growth rate, let's see if there is any progress next days. Also I already installed the Blumat, the parcel arrived missing the final drippers and the 3mm tube but they already send it. I adjusted the system following Michael Box top tip on this Growcast podcast, https://youtu.be/g5YFcxW3kXI?si=tkm6F1fF65CaNruq It consist on adjust the holding drip at atmospheric pressure without the ceramic cone/tube part, then from there screwed the regulator one more carrot (on gravity systems), mark it and put on the locking cap, this way it should provide 80mbar of water tension so there is no need to keep readjusting and you can leave it that way between runs. I use the Tropf max version expecting to keep the bottom of the 25L pots not so moist since 8 days later of the only watering done the moisture is still at 56mbar, looks like it will take some time to start dripping on. Meanwhile I'll keep an eye on the top moisture and if needed just hand water few mililiters a couple inches from the stems. D7. Today I received the missing parts from Blumat and this is the last day of the first week! I think they are looking good despite the little curled up tips from fifth day at 24h but lighting schedule is already changed down to 20h since fifth day midnight. Now they are 6 cm tall and look like they want to start vegging, tomorrow I'll start to daily increase DLI progressively until achieve 16 DLI by the end of the week. The lazy one seems to be doing it, very lazy but growing a little bit every day 💪

Plant is the smallest of the bunch and seems to be showing a bit of elongation mutation at the beginning but she’s still green and growing. I’m sure she’ll grow out of this stage soon. Can’t wait to see. 1/9/24 Transplant day today. Can’t wait to watch them grow!

5/5/2024 Pistils pistils pistils 5/8 these plants are fucking exploding! Super exciting to see them like this. Pistils everywhere and they’re just STACKING! don’t even see budlets yet, just pistils. The structure of these plants is beautiful. They handle training fairly well. I topped one and super cropped it and did a bit of lst. I was feeling impatient so I decided to see what happened if I pushed the one a little harder and left the other to grow naturally.

De 2 ejemplares me quede con los 2 para completar el indoor, también cambie el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y aplique una poda de bajos, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, las flores están formándose y empezaron a tricomar, hasta aquí todo. After two more failed attempts to germinate another "anonymous", I decided to germinate a Sour Strawberry, which popped and started growing. It was now about 4 weeks behind the other plants, which had me somewhat worried, because of the limited tent space, and the AutoPots, which I can not turn on for a while now. I also topped GMO and Glookies.
