Well, what we feared, became a reality, one of the regular XTrakush plants is a male. This is why I planted two and I'm happy it seems to be only the one. But with the canopy going nice and full it hurt to get it out. Of course, I hoped to have two females but nature went its course. Considered leaving it in, to pollinate the others, or keeping it somewhere, but I do not have the space or light for it. Thus with pain in my gut, I went about getting her out. I notice a nice developed root system, very healthy, which was very hard to get loose. After shaking the soil off I have a rootball the same size as after my whole grow last time. I could lift the whole 57 ltr bag by lifting the plant. Sturdy stem, thick solid branches. This is what I was aiming for and it works. The soil again is proving itself to be a winner. The light this low gives some higher temps as expected, but manageable within ranges. The SP-3000 is performing really well and I cant wait to see the bud development coming weeks. I'm sure it will deliver a great amount of bigger buds looking at all the flower sites and the thick branches that support them. The plants seem to take the light well on only 45 cm. I've started adding the BAC Organic Bloom Nutrition. It is designed to work with the microorganisms I added with the micro life. With this I do a little bit of Calmag, but not so much, since I don't see any evidence of shortages, again proving my soil is dialed in for growing under LED perfectly. 8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. STOPPED AFTER GETTING MY TIRES PUT ON AND DAD SAID THE LITTLE PLANT IN THE 5 GAL BUCKET IS DROOPING. I WENT BACK AND OF COURSE IT WAS. I CHECKED OUT THE LITTLE PLANT AND NOTICED MULTIPLE BUDSUTES DIEING. I ALSO SAW WHAT "COULD'VE" BEEN A MALE PREFLOWER. MY INTUITION TOLD ME TO GET RID OF IT. ITS LESS THAN A BRANCH OFF THE CROP IT COULD HARM. LUCKILY I HAD BAGGED IT UP BEFORE IT BEIBG REMOVED AND IT WAS FAIRLY WELL SEPERATED. AFTER CUTTING AND DISPOSING OF IT I BROUGHT THE BUCKET TO EMPTY. IT WAS EXTREMELY ROOTBOUND. THE ROOTS WERE WHITE EXCEPT THE ONES ON THE OUTSIDE WHICH WERE A NEON GREEN. THE INSIDE OF THE BUCKET HAD WHAT LOOKED LIJE GREEN ALGAE ON IT. I IMAGINE THAYS PROBABLY WHERE MY PROBLEMS CAME FROM. I'VE USED THIS BUCKET SECERAL TIMES AND IVE SEEN TJIS TYPE OF ALGAE BUT USUALLY ONCE I SANITIZE ITS GOOD TO GO. IM NOT SURE IF IT WAS BEING ROOTBOUND OR THE ALGAE THAT DID IT IN BUT I HAVE MUCH BETTER SPACING NOW. THIS WAS THE RIGHT DECISION. I COULDNT BEAR THE RHOUGHT OF MY GIRLS GETTING POLLINATED. I DID A VIDEO TOO BUT ILL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. ALSO CAUGHT THE TINIEST EVER MOUTH LARVAE. I SEE TINY GOLD FINCHES AND OTHER BIRDS DARTING IN MY CAGE AND AWAY WHEN I APPROACH. I THINK THEY ARE GIVING ME A HAND. 8/13 Thought thos was a new week so I took a ton of pictures and did a video. Who knows what will upload. Plants look hetter with the increased room spacing. I have the materials to finish final supports. I've just got to do it. Same with the BT spray. I'm thinking I should've upped the water to a gallon and a half or two but I'll do that next time I guess. Only problem I can see is some septoria looking spits on the toasted toffy and one gmo looks like itscrunning through nutrients quicker than others. Dad said he thinks this is my best year. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do. I defoliated what needed it and combed through the plants hunting pillars. I GUESS I FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS OR IT DIDNT SAVE. I BOUGHT A WATERING CAN THAT HOLDS A GALLON AND A HALF AND EMPRIED VERY QUICKLY IN SMALL STREAMS SO IT DOESNT HURT THE ROOTS. GREAT INVESTMENT. COULDNT GET OVER UNTIL 2 AND I GAVE EVERYTHING A GALLON AND A HALF. EXCEPT FOR THE ONE IN THE 10 TJAT GOT A GALLON AND THE TWO PLANTS IN THE MIDDLE THAT GOT A GALLON. Germinated them directly in the soil with natural sunlight, achieving a 100% success rate. All came out the soil with remarkably thick stems already, excited to see how these old school genetics will behave. Lots of growth during their first week of life, reaching the end of it with 2 pairs of leaves each. We surely got some sturdy girls here. Sunset Sherbet had some damage from struggling to hatch and is now slowly recovering, I’m sure she’ll catch up with time. Nothing good nutrition and proper lighting won’t fix. Bruce Banner turned out to be incredibly big for her age, never grown a seedling like her! You can tell she’s already finding her germination vase too small. Making a statement with her presence. Biscotti Mintz also looking big and very healthy. Let’s watch them grow and see what they’ve got 🌱💪

Saying rhat this girl had a rough start she really is impressing me. Bare in mind this has NEVER been topped or trained and just look at the shape of her a real woman. She is getting bulkier by the day and those little buttons are starting to stack. Let's goooooo Update Day 40, she is getting maaaaaasive.🤣🤣She has had to be moved to take centre stage, the guava can shine in the background now. What a plant this is, ill be buying alot more of these seeds. Bar removing a couple of leaves blocking sites she hasn't been trained, topped or anything. What a plant fast buds have on their hands here 👏 👏

(I’m starting to try timelapsed videos of growth so lmk what you think) So I’ve added a little lst to #1(the one I topped) just to capitalize on it I guess. But they’re all doing really well at the end of week 4. I’m trying to get better with photos and documenting so bare with me but as for #3, I’m really impressed with how fast she’s gotten bushy and with how she’s taken to lst. I’m doing different things to different plants to see what I like and what works for me. #4 is my control and I’ve done nothing but water and feed and honestly, she’s still doing just fine 💪🏻

Grow Diary – Week 6, Day 1 of Flowering Boom, today marks Week 6, Day 1 of flower and things are moving along nicely. Buds are stacking and the aromas are straight-up explosive — seriously, it’s getting loud in the tent. PPMs are holding steady around 1000 and I'm dialing in pH to 5.8 every time, no exceptions. The only gripe I’ve got is how dense and crowded the plant has become. I got a bit greedy during training, went for too many shoots packed too close together. Now there’s a ton of foliage and the lower bud sites just aren’t getting the light they need. I’m in there every single day at lights-on, doing leaf tucking and rearranging to get better light penetration to those lower sites and hopefully avoid a bunch of larf. Lesson learned for next round: focus on strong main shoots only, less is more. But with the way things are going, I’m still optimistic I’ll pull at least 7 oz of solid, dank bud. Whatever ends up on the fluffier side will go to canna butter, nothing wasted! Airflow’s solid. Got three fans in action one low, one mid, and one up top keeping everything circulating. Humidity’s on the drier side, which is intentional to help prevent mold, powdery mildew, or pests, especially with how tight the canopy is. Gotta stay ahead of the game. Plant might be a little wild right now but overall we’re on track. Fingers crossed for a strong yield. Let’s go.

Esta semana hubo un par de noches de tormenta, por suerte pude resguardarla bajo un invernadero improvisado y no sufrió daños. Aun sigue pidiendo bastante agua aunque no tanta como hace unas semanas. Queda poco para la cosecha, las colas están duras y pesadas, pero sus ramas parecen aguantar el peso sin problemas.

18/08/25: Last update before harvest, just about a week to go! Both plants are nearly ready and the differences between them are really starting to shine. One has taken on a stunning red hue over the past days, while the other has faded almost completely, signaling that it’s in its final stage! 😍 The aroma in the garden is intense now. The reddish, Indica-leaning pheno is absolutely dripping with resin and carries a distinct spicy, earthy scent. In contrast, the second plant has focused heavily on bud growth, with a massive main cola and a sweeter, more tropical fragrance. The bud-to-leaf ratio isn’t ideal, but I think that is to be expected when running autos outdoors at 52° latitude, where the climate can be a bit cool and unpredictable. Still, I could not be happier with how they’ve turned out! This being my first time growing autos, it’s been a really rewarding experience. 😁 Also so far I didn't encounter any pests/mold, no issues at all...fingers crossed it stays that way for this last crucial week before the chop! 🤞🏼☀️

Growing well this week with day to day monitoring. I've decided to do as much LST as Plant 2 will take. And letting Plant 1 do it's thing, with some minor help getting light down lower in the branches. Ppm is 490 without calmag

Auf der Waage im getrockneten Zustand waren es 130g somit habe ich mir den Fixkosten ein €/g von 2.55€/g das finde ich nicht schlecht

02/05 day 29 flower and holy shit things are popping. The smells are strong of tropical fruit punch on the run when I open the tent it smells of over ripe or slightly fermented fruit yummy. Stacking and filling out awesome! They got water and fed today. 02/09 got watered with bio phos, and bio catalyst 7 gallons total water. Terp check on them all. #1 straight tropical fruit punch very loud strongest and most unique terps in the tent. #2 slightly gassy pretty generic smell I feel I've smelled a million times before. #3 slight gas and fruit punch but subtle nothing impressive. #4 2nd strongest terps on the tent a even mix of gas and tropical fruit punch. I'm gonna have a hard time letting go of #1 or #4 honestly so they are both getting ran again next round for fresh frozen and will be kept around at least til I try the end rosin. 02/11 got watered 10.5 gallons with supplemental stuff in last 3.5 gallons last day of week 5.
