Gelato is definitely a solid strain, u can't complain at all, the buds are really starting to fattening and they are really frosty..i can't wait i wanna taste them, but i have to be patient cause there are 4 weeks left and in 1 week i will feed her with the flower booster from RQS.

04/09 - Started minor defoliation. Shes getting too bushy and blocking bud sites and causing moisture spots. Will remove a couple of leaves every other day for the next week. 05/09 - Full res change. Realised I mucked up the ratio. Went 35ml Micro, 25ml grow, (Shouldve been the other way around, so added an extra 10ml grow), 15ml Bloom and 15ml Silica. EC 1.4, PH 5.7. Will keep an eye on her and add some additional grow if she does alright. 06/09 - Minor defoliation. Removed about 12 leaves total so far. LST to spread the canopy a little more. PH stable at 5.8, EC at 1.4, Water level dropping. Seems to be stretching and pistils have begun to form! Responding well to the uptick in nutes from the res change. 07/09 - Leaf tucking, LST and took a leaf or two. Shes getting her stretch on for sure. PH stable at 5.8, EC stable at 1.4. Water level still dropping. 09/09 - After much deliberation, I ended up going for a fairly heavy defoliation session and am now going to leave her the hell alone until at least mid flower. I removed a large chunk of shaded leaves and bud sites and effectively ended up lollipopping her. I also removed all the old LST, and added a couple to pull leaves out of the way. The canopy remains largely unchanged, but shes much more airy now, and Im seeing far fewer damp spots where leaf perspiration has occured. Now to see if I can keep my hands off for a few weeks!

Hey now....This week went pretty good, I transplanted both seedlings from solo cups to 3.4 gallon airpots on day 16, and I also began high frequency fertigation that same day. I am running lights from 12AM to 6PM, and I feed at lights on and every 5 hours after that. Nutes are Silica, Cal Mag, and Maxi Gro with an EC of about 1.2 and a PH of 5.9ish. I am planning to top them both this week probably around day 25ish to the 3rd node, once I feel the roots are strong enough to bounce back instantaneously to the topping. I will start training the mainline within 24-48 hours of the topping as long as they respond well to the topping. I am still only running a 100 Watt Led light for them, but I am thinking about running a 400watt Super Metal Halide Bulb just to build the manifold, then switch over to LED's for flower. I did squeeze some of the bubble hash from the first planet of the grapses run, and all I can say is wow.....it truly tastes amazing and will absolutely put someone on all fours. So.. the flush begins for DD#1 and #2 checking trich’s and these to ladies are showing about 70% clear to 30% cloudy may finish in week nine. DD#3 still in bloom throwing tons of white hairs and purple flowers 100% clear trichs so she’s gonna get another feeding. DD# 4 is the showcase cause not only did she start out slow but she’s the only 1 of the 4 that’s started purple flowers and and is also purple leafed. I’ll continue to post some picture tonight wanted to get this up as I am flushing and pulling them out of the tent to do so. Also continue to add photo every 2 days. Updated 4/30 day 58 posted video and some new photos Day 60 really started to look at trich’s since plants are definitely getting close. DD#1 looks to be my heaviest producer trich’s are 60/40 no amber yet DD#2 80/20 no amber DD#3 90/10 no amber but it must be a mutation or something in the genetics cause it’s no longer thickening up its foxtailing all over so she still got time and we’ll see DD#4 is looking good and has a few weeks before I’ll start checking trich’s on her, pistols popping white all over the place.

Day 43. One Blackberry is going for the roof. Both late ones are small and have 33 days to flower .... Ridiculous ... That run shouldn't happen. But I have at least 5 okeish plants and hope to push them with Mars SP3000 as extras, plus first wavers will be starting to fall , so more space and light .... Day 44. Two smallest girls should go and are going. I will create second proper grower this year already ! I gave to this guy 5 Alaskan Diesel seeds for this year to try to grow, but only because of time - I can't finish smallest two - so I will give them for my friend as well. One turn out not so bad from those 3 lategoers , so I hope 30 days of flower will be enough for her ... One Strawberry Banana looks like a magazine cover girl ! Day 46. Yesterday I kicked them out and it was frosty night, both went down , some branches froze ... It will be interesting ... Friend said all 5 girls pop out and he has enough, so I had to find quick space for them ... The rest was rearranged in main grow room. Happy Growing !!!

9/22 topped them at 4th node. some of them are looking better for mainlining that others. some of them i may not mainline and others i left an extra node in case i want to keep clones around. #1 is looking happy with the topping and looks really good. #2 is the only one thats been praying and is the tallest and strongest looking all around. #5 short and such tight internodal spacing that it makes it hard to see whats all there. just looks like a bunch of small leaves until they grow out. i may not mainline this one either be cause of it being so tightly packed it may make it 9/27/24 day 20 theyre growing quite well. #1 i ended up taking the bottom nodes. i was originally goi g to use them as clones later on but decided to just let her go with her 4 nodes. #5 is so tightly packed, she has like 8 mains all in such a small space, its hard to even make sense of it all.

19.08.2024 officially D140... the additionnal week, have been benefict to this fat lady. as i can see some ambering trichrome on the remaining cola. so far so good she get is second harvest. the 3rd and final harvest should be in 1 or two week, as i will need space in the tent for the camperberry clone, and will give the time to the leftover small and unripped nugget to finish their job. the 1st harvest is dried a d have been trim for total weight of 121.5g. it already smell more fuity that its little sister, it have been put in a growbag for a nice curring. the 2nd harvest give 1454.6 g of wet sticky bud expecting 180g of dried flower as they are more leaffy and have more stem comparing to the 1st harvest. the 3/4 pound is still in sight.

PE will be harvested this week, super excited! Trichomes are just about where I want them, just waiting on a little more amber. PT is chugging along, looking like she’s going to have some larger buds this time! WW is still mostly white in her pistils, she will take longer than PE to finish up. WW in the small tent is looking fantastic, she’s ScrOGed and has been teaching towards the light a bit. Hoping for a big yield off this plant. BW is still small but she looks like she’s getting nice trichome development. Should be harvesting almost weekly, super excited to see how much I get from this entire grow. Been trimming for past week. Lemon Cherry - 20g Chemdawg 73g Tropicana cookies - 83g Banana purple punch- 78g Total - 253grams Not bad. Buds were a bit on the smaller side. Room for improvement, however not a bad harvest for a 2.7x2.7 tent and relatively cheap set up. It was fun to grow and good learning experience. I hope to grow some more and see you guys in future diaries. Thanks!
