6.9 3rd veg week got done and all is good. Girls are healthy and growing well. Strawberry Lemonade's looks almost identical to each other.. nice. I started adding some Bio Grow after spotting some nute defs. But otherwise not much to report. I have tried to keep these girls 4-6h darkness. To give them some rest. Next weeks update girls are in well cleaned tent thanks to my lovely human πŸ˜‚ girl 😍 Ok stay high till next week!! πŸ‘½

After week 2 the two Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barabara Bud) plants were transplanted into their final container, a plastic pot with 11 liter of soil (light-mix) in it. Now the roots can continue to develop rapidly and the plant growth is amazingly fast. At day 18 the plants are almost 20 cm tall already and look VERY healthy as you can see in the videos.

Still the same treatment! as it seems to work. I make sure to keep it over 400ppm. I notice conductivity (the nutrients in the water) goes well up when I throw many slugs! No more water from the canal, since it rained enough. I have lots of mosquito larvae, so I try to give them everyday, to reduce the number of moskitos (they don't bite very hard and are really slow). Cheers!

Well still battling bud rot its started a little on the Tysons and the og now. The weather has not been good. High humidity cloudy and damp. Rain a lot but I cover them from rain its just the wet humid air and lack of sun killing me. The up side is i got amber trics across all 4 of the plants so im going to harvest the last orange punch tonight as its having the most trouble with bud rot. The og and Tysons im gonna squeeze a few more days out of them. I think by next week all will be harvested. Besides some rot the plants are doing good I always catch the rot at first sign and remove affected bud. But the smell is insane the buds are coveted in trics and all of them are packed out dense buds. All in all even with some rot loss its still going to be a huge great harvest for my first time.

This plant was an absolute joy to trim. This plant consisted of buds and stems only, so I am actually curious what the dry weight will be.

Ok so I'm going too only feed pH water from here on out too force the plants too use up all that's in the soil , I am hoping I can carry them on now for the next 2 weeks like this before they are ripe , Update at the end of week 9 Well this week saw a lot of change , bud swelling and ripened up really quickly And slowed right down on drinking last time I checked she was 30% amber and 70% cloudy so she has been moved into a dark room until Thursday now too drink what’s left in her pot ready for harvest at the weekend , she smell so good and if you brush against it , So that’s one down 3 too go :)

Ripe Papaya is the word here. My first harv st here in GD and it was not perfect of course, she came up from some nutrients deficiencies and did not liked high light and also I had to cut her a bit earlier (I would say a week early). However she was easy to grow, does not take much space or smell much and fast! 11 days if drying (could have been 10 days because some days humidity fell to 40%) My second grow from this strain and it never really grew on me. I hoped for this a very big auto with big leaves, but those Papaya cookies tends to stay low, but with thick buds so I would not likely grow this strain again, just because from Fast buds I prefer other varieties like Purple haze and Bubblegum. Overall not unhappy but could've been better. Anyways was a fun experience.

Day 22: Honestly didn't think I would have made it this far. The girls are looking great minus a couple of issues. I have over watered them and over fed too! Not to mention trying to LST too early. I will wait a bit longer before watering this time. Day 23: MORNING - They were super dry. I have been over watering a bit so I watered maybe 1/2 gallon for all 6. I also did some more LST and took 1 large fan leaf off of each plant. I will update again before lights out. Day 23: NIGHT - The girls are responding very well to the LST. I don't think they are liking the 80Β°. I am starting to have issues with lower humidity again. I need to try and figure some sort of ducting out or possibly even get a small AC unit for the grow room. Day 24: MORNING - I removed a couple more leaves that were covering potential bud sites. I have also done a partial main-line on the smallest girl. It looks to be already showing pistols. I've had to open the tent with a big fan blowing directly in with the humidifier behind it. The girls were getting hot and dry. Day 24: NIGHT - Well 5 are showing to be female. The biggest plant is showing no signs of sex. I am guessing it will be the mystery seed. I will be doing no more LST to these ladies for at least a week or better. I think I have stressed them out enough the past 2 days. Day 25: These girls are very resilient!! I tortured them all weekend and the one I nopped off to do a sort of mainline grew by 20% at least. Day 26: It is the official 3 week mark today and the girls are starting to flower. I tied em down to get light to all bud sights. I will 100% not touch them unless they need it from this point!!!! They are soo small and I need not stunt them any more!! I have removed the Mystery Seed as it looks to be a male and I do not want to take the chance!! Also fed and watered today. Only 200 ppm for the feed. Day 27: Nothing new to report. These girls are gonna be tiny :| I must've stressed em too much too soon :( Looking good though I think! πŸ’ͺ Day 28: I never do what I say. Dumb! Broke main stem on one of the best plants. Taking it as a lessons learned. It's been two hours and she looks SICK! Oh well.

I had a good harvest set up, in order to keep everything sterile. The drying went good and steady with converting my grow tent to dry tent. -Humidity through drying 53-58% RH -Temp a bit high 18-23 10 days of drying Very satisfied with this grow as my first grow. I said i would be more than happy with 100g (dry and trimmed) and i weighted in 95.9g PLUS about 5grams i plan to smoke now πŸ˜‡ So very happy. Currently in curing jars Not harsh taste, even with no curing. Nice and fruity and a deep high. I will test the THC levels after curing and update my blog. This will def not be my last grow. I had a lot of fun Thanks to everyone on growdiaries that has been giving me pointers and tips πŸ™ πŸ‘‰*Btw. I was growing with a "Viparspectra V300" LED through Veg and flower

To preface this grow. This is my second run ever and my first run on Coco DWC using autopot system. My first run I ran a basic amended soil with no real target for soil ph set. Just simply organic compost and about 12% castings. I ran full manufacturer's dosing recommendations on city tap with high tds to start with. I had some serious nute issues late veg early flower. I suspect the issue was compounded due to ph swing, high ec, over watering and ph rise in soil due to infrequent watering, as well as ph rise in reservoirs from poor aeration and no beneficial microbes. That all being said I have new targets this run mainly consistenting of monitoring and targeting of PH and EC. I was at a bit of a loss in regard to the ph rise in my resevoir so with some research I have decided to try out TorusHydro perfect ph inline edition for my 25g dwc reservoir. I am running RO water made by my smallboy 150ro by Hydrologic. I have noticed some manufacturers recommend daily water changes for Coco nute solutions. I am going to attempt to do new water as infrequently as I think is acceptable as reflected by total ec in my feed water. I am using week one solution target EC of 0.5-0.7 and PH 5.5-5.7 for germinating. I added some bonus photo's of a homemade grow room I constructed.

Week 3 of Flower we focus on Defoilation. This really is going to test the genetics response to extreme stress. Performed a 5 day Schwazze to minimize stress instead of ripping off most leave in one day. Plant seem to have reacted well so far. This technique has really opened the canopy and expose many bud sites. Preparing for a top feed at start of new week.
