Bud sites started to appear everywhere, plants are looking healthy and are still stretching a bit. I've decided to add x2 infrared strips to the lighting setup, in order to improve the spectrum for blooming and trigger the emerson effect (infrared 15 mins before full darkness). I did notice in the past that infrared before darkness helps a lot and speed up the whole flowering process. I started to add some "Organic Bloom" to my soup. Various phenotypes are showing their traits, some plants are true sativas, others are more hybrids. I'm going to bet that the most sativas will take a few more weeks to finish. Stay tuned!

(UPDATE- Apple Strudel got the chop on Day 72) Week 10 starts on Thursday so I'm jumping the gun by a couple of days in terms of uploading as I'm going away. Things are coming along nicely with the Apple Strudel, I can just smell sweet creamy scent with a bit of apple and funnily enough it smells a bit like the old cheese strain from about 20 years ago, very unique, I like it .😁👌🏻 Some purple colours are starting to show too, trichomes are 80/20 cloudy/clear. I'm going to give her another week then she's getting the chop. Will update further once harvested and dried. (Days 15-21) (Day 21) Everything is looking really good this week. I got my MH hooked up and dimmed to 250w. Plants are responding very well. Not a single sign of yellowing and plants are all a nice healthy green. I covered up the transparent solo cups with some newspaper as the roots are starting to pool around the bottom of the cups. I’m going to transplant everything into 2gal pots with my inoculated 50/50 coco blend sometime next week. There is a nice layer of mycorrhizal fungi starting to coat the surface now. Blackberry breath #1 is still looking oddly deformed still but I am concluding it’s genetic. Going to be trying this ‘Boogie Brew’ tea stuff in the next few days as well. I’m pretty sure the leaf discoloring I saw that one day was from using unstable RO water. I am making sure to stabilize all water with rain/snow/brita before watering. It seems to have cleared up in a just a few days of proper water. I didn’t get around to getting a c02 canister this week but I will grab it at the same time I get those 2gal nursery pots. I’m shocked at how well the air pump is helping the bbb#2. It is always the perkiest plant in the tent and despite being a runt, it’s already outpacing most of the others in terms of new growth. I guess air is an often overlooked factor when growing. Hopefully the coco blend will help get things a little more aerated when I transplant. Been thinking I’m going to just veg until they all show sex and then flip them. (Day 17) I gave my first pest/mold prevention spray today. I then raised the light all the way up to the top of the tent for a few hours. Plants responded well and no spots, burn ect. I’m also going to give my first top dressing today. I’m using my new organic dry amendments scratched into the surface of the solo cups with some added promix as a layer of mulch. I don’t want to see any yellowing at all in veg this run. I fucked up hard last time so I’m going to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

This tall gal flipped to flower over past few weeks, 3rd week. Started new nutrients to bulk her up and get those terps popping. Shes over 6ft now and about 1.5ft from top of green house so hope growth upward slows a bit.

A manetta waju

Plants were left for 8 days between watering, the soil was very dry and plant leaves drooping. Watered them with 1 litre each yesterday but have noticed yellowing of leaves on the bottom. Thinking this might be due to under watering I am not sure. Apart from that the flowers themselves are looking fine. Night temps are now 18 deg and 24 daytime and humidity at 50% I have also now put in a small fan at floor level in the space of where the 4th pot was so this now gives lower air movement.

Ended up flushing Mumma for about 10 days - got her ppm down real low. Night before harvest I set the timer so the light would not come back on in the morning before I harvested (I've seen people who swear by this and other who say it doesn't do anything but figured it couldn't hurt). At this point the other plants are pretty disappointing compared to Mumma so they aren't getting as much "love" lol.

Lastimosamente gracias a las bajas temperaturas y a la gran humedad constante (no puedo hacer mucho al respecto) la aparición de hongos en las hojas es inevitable. Mantengo a raya podando mas hojas infectadas y regando lo menos posible + secando el piso de la carpa en cada riego. Hoy 18/9 estamos en 1100 de EC a 50 días de empezar la flora.

02/23 - Week 3 Veg - Did some light defoliation on her inverted leaves mainly in the middle of the plant - She has definitely blown out some, will have to apply some LST on upper canopy sometime this week - Nute/Clean water feeds have become more frequent alternating once every 2 days. 02/27 - She blew out nicely - defolded the bottom portion of the plant to remove dead/decaying leaves and tied down her main tops (LST) to increase canopy coverage.
