Also spaced out each plant evenly on the tray and turned on the other 2 PB2000 LED lights I had ready to go.

Blumat system appears to be functioning properly. Drilled a hole in the blumat reservoir for the air pump to go through so I can now fully close the lid.

Still doing their thing drinking a lot of water these days probably need root pruning soon.

Growing it was straight forward. Very resistant to temp changes, loved every bit of nutrients I gave her. Buds have turned out beautiful and harvesting 4.5 ounces dry on one plant is always nice

Last week was very challenging, two girls got really tall below the white light, while the other two below the blurple spectrum ended up being smaller and bushier, both looking fantastic. Last week I also probably went too far defoliating the shaded smaller girl which stunned it a bit for a day or two but its flowering vigorously again. Although the unexpected stretch which led to uneven light coverage overally the platns are looking solid, smelly and sugary :)

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Switched to flower nutes too early. Back to full strength terp tea grow 711. Atleast for the next 2 weeks, maybe less. 5/1/24 Plant is stretching now. FYI just to clarify, I switched lights to 12/12 on 4/20 but I am considering her being in veg still until I see more pistils. Probably the end of this week. After a 2 week transition period 5/3 2 days later and I need to get my damn camera in the tent! This stretch is starting to look like nursery explained. She’s supposed to triple in size. I thought I tied her down too much and she would stay short. I swear she’s grown an inch over night. Starting to dominate the tent. Literally 2 days ago, I said that I didn’t consider this week to be flower and still the transition phase. Now she looks like she’s fully in the flowering phase. She’s beautiful and I’ve been impressed since veg. Since I chose her as a clone I liked the way she was. Hoping she follows through🌱💚

Day 33 from Seed: In general these ladies have just got on with it this week while I worried about some of the other girls. Their training has been a breeze so far and they have been made more pliable by the silica. I have now stopped using the Mega crop in the Los soil now the pot is making it's own nutes but I will keep my eye on them for any paling and need to re feed with the Mc. The coco girls are on 1g/L to see how they settle into that now. #1is doing brilliantly and her size indicates she will be a great yielder. She is quick to turn her heads back up once pinned so I will need a fast hand to keep up. #2 The runt of the whole pack. I dont know why she is so small besides some evidence of def on her initial growing leaves. Her new growth looks a lot better but I think she will need less strength feed than the others. Her structure looks good but she is very small I general compared. #3 was my expected star of the grow room but is now not in the front row anymore. She is perfect and growing great. training has been easy with her and her sites are plentiful too. I think she will be the biggest of the Smoothies. I am very happy with their progress so far . great work Fast buds.

8/10 - In prep for flower I've got some Compost Tea brewing with a little Terp Tea Bloom by Roots Organics. .Also did a little selective defoliation 8/11 - Flipped the ladies to flower today! And all is good in the 8x4. 8/12 - Watered all the ladies with the Compost/Terp Tea. Also did some more defoliation and added some mosquito bits for added pest prevention.
