Helloo, planties are roughtly 3 week into vegetative growth. Into second week our cat snucked into the tent and being the motivated gardener she is, dug out quick one and speedy chille, we put them both back into place gave planties some water, and with time they recovered, speedy chille got most stress, but being photoperiod, recovered slowly aswell, still the shortest and very loved. :) so everythings good Royal kush has the strongest smell of them all, few leafs we defoliated we grind in our hard and smell a deep green canna scent. Northen lights is the leader in hight since begining When planties grew 5 tops we topped them, began doing LST and a bit of defoliation, bended stems away from the lamp and taking off leaf that blocks light reaching tops. The stems hardened and remind me now more of a tree

Plant streached out a bit more this week not sure if it is over yet. Flower is coming along and the buds are starting to form. Now the fun part starts. I'm sure everyone loves the flower phase. Did a defoliation, seemed to work the first time so I will keep doing it. Took two of the three plants an put them in a tent. There is no space in the flower room and did not want to compromise the grow. I guess I was a little over anxious and poped these seeds a bit early. No big deal, a tent is always good. It will be interesting to see the difference between the two areas flowering. This will come down to cheap led fixture vs 1100 true watts of the timber grow vero 29 3000k cobbs. Fornthe cheap led fixtures I have 2- 1600 watt, a 1000 watt and a 600 watt. Ok this is the advertised watts and not true watts. I don't know the true watts either. I have to say they seem to work great for veg and thats what I used them for until I ran out of room. I am hoping the reflective tent will help. Any comments or tips are greatly appreciated. very strong resin production, a heavy hitter, nighttime stuff! a real great strain, highly recommended! you can certainly smell the grape with a creamy touch! ps. one of the plants was a mutant, it was very weak, had almost no resin on it and absolutely no scent at all....but it had alot of potency and a awesome yield!

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. The girls have recovered well after my massive defoliation. Girl number 1 is now 40 cm high, number 2 is 105 cm and number 3 is 25 cm. It is strange that 3 plants from the same strain, with the same care and environment, can distinguish so much in appearance and size. It separates 80 cm in numbers 2 and 3. In 4 days Nr1 has grown 3 cm, Nr 2 has grown 17 cm and Nr 3 has grown 4 cm. They have received 7 liters of water and nutrition today.

When should they start flowering?

She grew 12cm in height this week and a whole lot bushier!!! Day 42 - I trimmed off about 6 large fan leaves to get light to the lower bud sites. This is her last week of 20/4 veg lighting.
