NYC Diesel Auto (Was Hey Abby) W20 F9 2/1-7 New York City Diesel is ready for harvest. I plan to harvest this weekend, time permitting. I flushed her with 5.5 gal of water since 1/24. Not as much as I would have liked. 2/5 trichome pics show a moderate amount of amber but in some colas, nearly 80%. This maturation was very fast as I was planning for the 15th. Given the amount of amber now showing, I have grown past what I prefer for maturity, this will now lean more indica. We had our first big snow this week following a light dusting last week. Timelapse! I've meant to get a timelapse camera set up since I first started this grow. I am reasonably confident that future weeks will include full-week timelapses. For most of this week, my plant has seemed to have stopped growing. It got to a point where the leaves were becoming wilted, which prompted me to add nutrients. I was a bit skeptical regarding whether it was a good time to do this, or if I would be adding nutrients prematurely. All has seemed to have gone well with the nutrients, as the next day the leaves perked up substantially. Mid week, I changed the light schedule form 18/6 to 20/4 because I figured more light would enable better growth. Currently, I am puzzled as to why the leaves have developed some light and dark splotches. Could this be a result of light stress? EDIT (in response to my leaf spotting question): Thanks to those who have responded to my leaf spotting question! I have raised the light from 18.5in (I never measured it until now) to the recommended 24in. There is no chance of nutrient solution getting on the leafs to cause the spotting, but I did spray the tent with water + (dilute) hydrogen peroxide in an attempt to raise the humidity. Maybe this is the cause? I am currently battling the relative humidity. As someone mention, it is low! If i plug in my room-humidifier, the humidity will get way to high (80%+). I've placed an open container of tap water + hydrogen peroxide mix in the tent, but it doesn't appear to do much! I'd like to note here that I am using liquid indicator drops for my pH, so the pH is only my best measurement at the time of mixing solution. My pH may not be as low as I indicated this week! I think I'll throw in some tap water in lieu of cal-mag supplements,. I figure my city's hard water may be of benefit here!

Day 71. Girls went through two plain waterings, planing to give tomorrow first feed without BioGrow. Will try to ramp everything and achieve 800 ppm. No space, girls are showing signs of few top bleach and foxtailing starting ... All Northern Lights are like two weeks behind ... One Green Crack is rocking my soul with sizes of buds - FATASS buds ;))) Diesels are looking fantastically too !!! Amazing house ! Day 74. Chopped FB LSD 25, so got a bit more space, but those side plants missed space a lot !!! Some big branches on Northern Lights died off without proper light and space , so now they should be happier ... Day 75. Girls loved more space and I think two first Alaskan Diesel will fall in 10-14 days. Cut food for them now ! All others are pushing and looking very promising ! Happy Growing !!!

Week 5: This week was all about battling bugs, adjusting fans endlessly, making bug traps, blood and sweat, and of course the dreaded humidity. I found a few mosquitos and Aphids munching on my girl. Unfortunately mosquitos are a “resident” of the area I live too so had to set a few bug traps. Also ordered some cool equipment and organic insecticide to get her feeling right as rain again, really looking forward to our next week. Topped her and have already starting doing some LST to spread the branches and get more light onto new growth, from which is doing very well. Scary experience as I was afraid of hurting her, tore a leaf here or there but no harm done. Once again the great genetics from Humboldt seed organization and Quality Just Cannabis soil kept her stable and she pulled through! Sipping more water this week a little more than 5L water. Still battling humidity with the fluctuating weather but that should be sorted in the next few days... until next week ✌️
