First Week of flowering

Bueno, aquí están estas candy caramelo de Zambezaseeds, la verdad que esta genética me está gustando tienen bastante densidad y son algo chatas , los nudos están muy juntos y eso me gusta porque el cogollo compacta más a mi parecer. Sigo regulando las condiciones del ph en cada riego en 6,2 y actualmente no supera el 50% de humedad ni sube de 26 grados. Welcome back to Fat Yappa's ladies and gentlemen, its been another mad week in the garden. This week these girls have began to produce some serious quantities of bud sites, but the transition into flower has not been without its adversity to be conquered. Gone is the humidifier, and the battle with humidity has commenced. All of a sudden the three larger Banner ladies, together with their Wedding Cheesecake Fastbuds cousin in Coco Coir have levelled up from 2.5L per plant ever four days, to 2.5L every two days, which has increased the humidity substantially, and this week has mostly been a battle to get the RH down to 50% or below, which has meant the tent door has been open as much as situations have allowed for that, the grow tent heater has been turned off, and my central heating has been ramped back up to 21c in an endeavour to dry the air some what, and the room in which the grow tent is situated has seen the addition of an old but reasonable dehumidifier on loan from my parents. I have also had to put some further serious thought into air circulation, and the T6 has been ramped up to level 6 as a constant, the intake fan has been increased, and Ive lowered one of my 40w fans closer to canopy level. The other 40w fan is situated in the top back corner, opposite the carbon filter to try and prevent stale air from building up in there, and I did try and lower this one also, but the way I have it wired, the plug flex would only allow me to gain a couple of inches. Circulation has improved, but is still not ideal across the entire canopy and this has caused some anxiety in regard to humidity and mould etc. To counteract this, and now that bud sites are developing, gaining a clear vision of which fan leaves could be removed, there have been a few defoliation session this week. Nothing major, maybe a couple of handfuls off the the older Bruce Banners, yet compared to the Wedding Cheesecake in Coco, which stands at a whopping 28 inches, towering over everything else in the tent by almost a foot now, despite the LST, which is much less of a leafy specimen and has only lost a dying leaf or two. In terms of LST, I have continued to perform the technique two or three times a week on all the plants, yet have stopped on the four larger plants in the past few days as I fear their stems are becoming too rigid for it now, and to further add to this, there is literally no more space for them to go besides up. The Wedding Cheesecake in Coco is a concern, with it being so high above the rest of the canopy, but there is literally nowhere else to tie her down. I will continue on the smaller Wedding Cheesecake, growing in living soil, and the Bruce Banner runt for another week or so, which at the moment I would describe as being in pre flower, and seem to be about a week behind the other four, until I feel the same fears in regard to the technique damaging them. As hinted at above, space is becoming an issue, housing these six big autoflowers in a 4x4, and the five plants that were originally intended would have been more than adequate to fill the space, and things have become so tight in there that I have had to remove the intake fan and place it on the outside of the tent, but the increase in sound from this has left me dissatisfied with this as a permanent solution. The increase in intake and out take fans, and the edition of the noisy old dehumidifier has caused noise to become a slight issue, but I will be ordering a good, modern, efficient 20L dehumidifier tomorrow and hopefully this will aid significantly toward solving a number of this weeks issues. With most adequate timing, the click from the timer on the sf4000 signals lights out on another day in Fat Yappa's Garden, its time for me to zip these ladies up and tuck them in for the night, so I must bid you all farewell for another week, and wish that all is growing well for you too

Purple Merkle from President Seeds has finished up. Stinky, dense and dark. Amnesia Haze is getting dank and frosty, continuing to stack up on trichomes and her residue can only be explained as gorilla glue quality i.e. sticky as hell! Purple Kush, Fruity Pebbles and Wedding Cake are veging still waiting for the Hindu Kush Auto to flip to flower.

Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Bienvenidos cultivadores de marihuana clandestinos, y también, a los que tienen la fortuna de no serlo!🖐️👨‍🌾... todo por la causa! Mañana nublada, mañana de porros y música junto a esta gitana agradecida, hace cuatro días cambié el horario a floración 12/12h. Después de una semana donde he hecho tres riegos profundos (4,7L) con componentes variados y dirigidos a estimular el cultivo, la planta está respondiendo espectacularmente... esta gitana a perdido la timidez! ahora crece, se fortalece y orgullosa se esfuerza por alcanzar a sus compañeras de cultivo mayores, y no dudo que lo consiga! En el último riego he estrenado dos nuevas fórmulas de Bio Fertilizantes que puse en fermentación anaeróbica con Microorganismos Eficientes y enzimas hace casi un año y que abro ahora, el primero basado en la disolución de tres tipos de algas (Bio Algas EM) para usarlo en cualquier momento del cultivo como Bio estimulante, el segundo con una combinación de Guanos de ave y Murciélago donde disuelvo principalmente el fósforo y también el resto de macro/micro nutrientes y los ácidos húmicos de esta materia prima excepcional, lo comienzo usar al final de la etapa de crecimiento vegetativo hasta el final del cultivo, en combinaciones de riego con otras fórmulas fuertes en potasio... a jugar!! Un dato: la semana pasada hice, llevado por la pasión, las ganas y el colocón, varias aplicaciones foliares en días consecutivos con una mezcla explosiva de mi Hidrolizado Enzimático de Sangre Fresca (Aminoácidos y Nitrógeno 70%) con Lacto Fermento multi frutas NPK... La primera aplicación en todas las plantas fue espectacular, continué aplicando como si no hubiera mañana, y conseguí bloquear varias plantas y quemar muchas hojas... pero esta planta resistió como la mejor, y ahora se impone mientras sus compañeras se recuperan! El paso a floración es como nuestra entrada en la adolescencia, la revolución hormonal que la planta experimenta es similar a la nuestra, y como tal, hemos hecho una fiesta gitana para celebrar la vida que le espera esta chica andaluza... This grow cycle was one of my best from start to finish I had 5 females 4 of which were brilliant all shown colour all fruity gassy and amazing only the one was bland and green in colour and smelt different really good nug atructure but the smell wasn't there for me ... this is around my fifth grow and I'll be running these strains again to get it down to one pheno of these genetics

Little closer missed couple weeks but nothing really new yet just waiting to fatten up

#1 is really bringing in the purple tones now, the smell is unbelievable, very strong and potent. They are all getting really nice orange hairs that contrast well with the light green crystal coated buds.

Estas chicas son un experimento. Puse cuatro de ellas en una sola macetera y les di únicamente 2 semanas de vegeta. Por lo general hago un crecimiento de meses y nunca había hecho una planta con tan poco crecimiento.... , y por lo que proyecto, también vale la pena hacer cultivos rápidos. Es impresionante lo que han crecido en esta semana. Se ven sanas. Buenos humos

The third week is over, and the ladies have finished their stretching phase. This meant one last trimming. I removed all the solar eclipses that were on a flower. This way, every flower receives light and photosynthesis is absorbed through the lower part. This way, I achieve maximum yield and no undeveloped flowers

Risultato finale inaspettato! Questa è la prima volta in outdoor, e pensare che le volevo regalare perché non me la sentivo di farle crescere a casa perché troppi vicini di casa, poi mi sono affezionato ed eccole qua, le più grandi piante mai riuscite!! Sono molto contento!!

First signs of flower on the big one ✨ also I lowered and rearranged lights for a better Ppfd I should have started before but I also added some Voodoo Juice, hopefully it will help with the smaller ones 🤞🏻

Another breezy week however, we had some hot weather here, temps were up to 34°c in the room for a day or so which caused a bit of tip burn. When plants are forced to transpire more in a high VPD scenario, one should reduce the EC of the water by 10-20%, this helps the plant take water easier through osmosis without taking up more nutrients than it needs, unfortunately as I spent most of last week high and didn’t notice it until the second day. Will start to post more pictures every week now they’re looking a bit more interesting 😁 EC is currently at 1.4 due to hot weather, and I’ve noticed when it hovers around 1.6, the EC drifts up to 1.7-1.8 after 3-4 days so thought it was best to cut it back a little. UVB during lights on will soon be introduced, possibly at the start of week 15. Thanks for stopping by!

Día 35: Se ven fuertes y creciendo bien, aparecen algunas hojas amarillas, especialmente las más grandes y las cercanas a la base de la planta. Se riega con 1.7 Lt. de agua, día por medio. Día 39: Se trasplantan a maceta definitiva de 11 Lts. No se ve un gran desarrollo radicular, se agregan micorrizas de Great White en forma espolvoreada y vía riego. Se utiliza sustrato All Mix para este último trasplante, el cual fue activado hace unos días y se le agrego micorrizas granulares de Great White.

She came out to be a pretty noce plant, very small with little stretch tho and very bushy so I'm definitely gonna run her again and see what the other phenos might look like.. I'm feeding them everyday now the cherry gusher and runtz are doing alot better than the og so I will definitely run these again, but I will be using a little smaller pots i suppose... I want to fit more plants in there to use up the space better and a bit faster since I'm going to be pheno hunting and taking clones in future to get the best out of here strains i have around 9 seeds of cherry gusher left i got the big pack as I knew i wanted this one for the beautiful looks and taste and effect i was told it has..
