Did a little Defoilation in the garden trimmed of any branches thar werent going to reach the top cleaned up the fans leaves that were blocking air circulation so far so good getting these ladies ready for transition😶‍🌫️

Week 9 concluded with great progress and minor issues! She continues to stack on inflorescence and is frosting up nicely in the heat of the summer sun here. There hasn't been rain here for some time and the days are well into the 90's Fahrenheit. She spends most of the day outside and still comes into to bask in the 400W HPS while it's dark out. I try to give her a 4 hour lights-out immediately after bringing her inside for the day. I'm seeing leafhopper damage here and there but inspections haven't turned up any culprits recently. I saw them daily back in the spring when she was in veg but they seem to have moved on. I've ordered some spinosad soap in case they continue to damage the plant. As always, I overfed N during flower and she's clawing up a bit on me. Since then, I've been hitting her with plain water only to try and flush out some of the excess. Following manufacturer recommendations for nutrients always seems to bite me. Especially since all say not to stop with Grow, Part A, etc.. once flower begins. Clearly, I'll need to dial back the amount in the future. She seems to be progressing nicely in spite of these few issues though and overall I'm very happy with the genetics Dinafem has lovingly created. Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

Ive been flushing around 7 days now and the first leaves are starting to fade,in around 5-10 days it will be ready to chop. I've also harvested a couple branches early with cloudy/clear trichomes to hold me over and make room for new strains to start vegging in the tent. This is by far my best run of this strain and smelliest , im not entirely sure if my skills and equipment have gotten better or this phenotype is just especially good.

#seedsman420growoff and #SeedsmanSeeds 📆 Week 5, 25-31 May 2024 25-27 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 28 May - Defoliated plant. 29 May - Placed scrog ring on trellis system, bent top of plant over 90 degrees, adjusted and spread branches (see pictures). 30-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I’m very pleased with the way this plant has responded to the nutrient schedule so far. Now it is time to see how she will do with training. I like using a version of the scrog method most because it gives me the greatest space for bud growth overall. My experiences have taught me that under these lights there is about 15-18” worth of quality vertical bud potential. Anything below that line is only draining on the plant, and not receiving adeqate DLI. So I dont need to focus on a tall plant - rather a wide one. Now that she is under a scrog the DLI has a significant canopy increase. What I’ve done with this plant is cut all side shoots off the main branches up to the scrog. She will grow for another week to allow all for growth to develop just above that and then be flipped to flower. I’ve never grown this plant before, but assumeing she can double her size during pre-flower, I’ll have plenty of room in my grow tent. The Trellis System: is made with 1/2” (12.7mm) white, SharkBite PEX, 1/2” pex clamps, small screws/nuts #6-32 x 3/8 in (to hold clamps opposite each other, this is what holds the structure together, side bars, rings, scrog), 1/2” pex straight coupling connectors (to connect rings, and extensions), nylon tape and nylon cord. The frame design is independant from the bucket and can be put on anytime before or after the start of the grow. It simply snaps together (nothing needs to be crimpted), the rings stay in tact with coupling and tape, the netting is strung once for the most part, I prefere 2” squares, and held in place by clamps. The size of the rings depends on the size of your pot, the bottom and top ring are measured seperately. The scrog ring is determined by the size of the tent or desired spread. It takes 5 side bars evenly spaced apart and snapped on the bottom ring 1st to hold the frame sturdy in place, their length should start flat from the bottom to about 8” above the top of the bucket. Place the pot into the bottom ring with 5 side bars already attached, lift up the bars, then put on and attach the top ring, this prevents it from moving. Both are then placed on a 12” Bonsai turn table for easy access and observation of the plant. The final scrog is placed on when the desired height is close to being achieved, then maneuvered down over the plant. A simple design that allows you to easily adjust the netting (place extenders on side bars faceing in opposite direction for additional height) and opens many other possabilities for training. Hey Growmies! I'm thrilled to share my latest project: two exceptional grow environments, each a lush green haven with 9 plants on plant rollers. We’re employing a blend of Scrog (Screen of Green) and Sog (Sea of Green) techniques. Each plant has its individual ScroG, directly connected to its air-pot, facilitating easy mobility and care within the tent. As the Room is on the cooler side at the moment, I've set up a Solea infrared heater, controlled by an Inkbird ITC-308 temperature controller, to maintain a cozy climate. Each tent is also equipped with a Spider Farmer Cool Mist humidifier for perfect humidity levels. Initially, I planned for identical setups in both tents, but adaptation is crucial. I encountered a challenge with the UR45 lights due to their single plug and UV/IR switches. To overcome this, in Tent 1, I’ve installed two UR45 lights: one dedicated to IR and the other to UV, each managed by a Meross smart plug. The Mars Hydro app manages the light and in-line fan controls in Tent 2, though it has its limitations. The ITC-308 takes care of the infrared heater, while the humidifier regulates itself. I'm really into this setup, but I'm already thinking about upgrading to a single grow controller for all devices. Excitingly, ‘Epic Buzz’ in Tent 1 is competing in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge sponsored by Trolmaster, who has also sponsored a Tent X Controller for this tent. This addition will greatly enhance our control and monitoring capabilities in this tent. This grow season is extra thrilling as I’m collaborating with Anesia Seeds and Ganja Farmer Seeds. 08/18: première semaine de veg. J'ai rééquilibrer le ratio substrat amendement. J'espère que a part Canna calmag (conseiller quand on utilise des systèmes led comme mars hydro et spider Farmer je ne pourrais dire pourquoi) et un peu de Biobizz fish mix en foliaire je ne devrais pas ajouter d'engrais avant la 3ème semaine de floraisons. Pour dire attaquer au pk 13-14/ canna boost accelerator qui ensemble font des miracles selon le site canna.fr. Pour ce qui est de la technique de culture après avoir examiné de près comment ce développait un plant. Je vais et comme en plus ce coup ci j'ai pas oublié de planter dans un coin du pot appliqué un LST et défoliation seront au menu. Et cette fois je ne changerai pas d'avis mille fois 😜😜🌱🌞🎉 08/19: ça pousse! 08/20: encore! petite arrosage/canna start+biobizz root-juice #3 08/22: elle s'est fort étirée.
