Defoliation and spray fertilizer

10 weeks / 70 days old today. Buds are all a bit fatter and a bit frostier this week! They glisten in the light and and are well and truly coated. Noticed a few leaves with brown spots this week and after reading up I decided it could be a calcium deficiency. Gave a cal mag feed and monitored and no more brown spots have appeared. We’re pretty close to the finish line now so not sure I’ve done the right thing or whether I should just let it be. Few more old leaves at the bottom started to yellow so chopped them. Some trichomes are starting to turn milky but majority are still clear. Haven’t bothered with a picture because it’s so hard to get a clear one. Still taking up lots of water and giving 3ml of bloom nutrients in every water. Been reading lots about flushing and I’m not sure whether to do it. Read lots that say if it’s cured properly then there isn’t any difference to the taste. I think half the battle is knowing when to do it. How does a beginner know when you’ve got 2 weeks left?! Been tempted to chop off the popcorn buds and so glad I didn’t. I put some bulbs lower down to give them plenty of light and they’re fattening up pretty well. Bit worried again about the space issue. Lots of new pistils have sprouted and most are around the top buds. Read that it could be foxtailing due to light stress but could also just be buds fattening out and having a last try at pollinating 🤷🏻‍♀️ who knows! Overall another exciting week getting closer to the finish. Booked our summer holiday for August and trying to decide whether to start a new grow when these finish. there’s a risk they might not be done in time but I’m desperate to try again and improve on this one. I have well and truly got the grow bug!!

Another successful week plants aren't dead. Did some more defoliation this week to allow light to penetrate the smaller colas at the bottom of the canopy, still haven't found a feeding schedule that works for me, going to cut my feedings in half next week because I'm starting to see some minor nute burn on the leaf tips. Good week though I'm pleased with it onto week 10/week 5 of flower!

- A couple of branches have snapped due to LSTing. Newbie here, researched and found out branches that were not completely snapped could be saved - This led me to discover bending branches until they "kink" can actually be used as a type of LST - 5th seed ended up straightening out and grew normally. Well dont know what to say other then I'm really happy how the grow is coming along, We have 5 Super kush from phoenix seeds which are aboustley monsters and the smell is second to none, I have manuliapted all plants into wide bushes with loads and loads of tops. I have noticed you cant get this strain anywhere anymore and if you can they are only letting packs off 100 go for around £500 , I'm so glad I saved this plant We have 5 Gorrilla glue #4 from B-S-B seeds and holy smoke these girls are so dank smelling and sticky i can seriously understand where they get there name from unbelievable genetics with one in particular my pheno number 5 , iv never seen anything like this in my whole 6 years of growing . This pheno was the smallest out of the pack but has literally around 50 colas on one plant cant wait to see how it turns out. We also have 4 Gorrilla zkittles barneys farm which are clones from my previous grow , very big stretch on these girls , so if growing beware of stretch in bloom , really fruity and smells like a bag of heaven We have 1 blue gelato in a hydroponics system which has suffered a lot from p.h issues , I have to clones off this girl for my next run, not expecting much of this run if I'm honest but we will see. We have 1 critical from RQS which was also a freebie seed but is also exceeding my expectations , a really pungent diesel smell with this girl and she just seems to keep growing and growing . We have 1 phantom OG heard got reports about this girl and if Its the pheno I'm looking for the purple pheno im in for a treat , not to much to say about the OG phantom not much of a smell to it . Last but not least we have the BSB genetics Bannana kush , which seems to be the furthest in flower . It smells literally like a bag of Bannanas I cant wait to try this one , I have made sure I have taken clones from all plants .

Flowering day 12 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone ☺️. Once again a wonderful week goes by 😀. It has developed so far and is now slowly starting to develop its flowers :-). As soon as the first forms of buds can be seen (I think in 5-10 days) 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom per liter of substrate are added. In the third week, 1 g per liter of substrate is added so that it lasts through to the end :-). This week it was poured 3 times with 1 liter each 👍. The entire tent was also cleaned and the electronics checked for functionality. The humidifier was refilled every day and fresh osmosis water was drained into the tank for the coming week ☺️. The plants have all been checked for health and pests 👍. Next week the bamboo sticks are inserted towards the end for support and the lowest shoots are removed so that at the end the energy is not wasted in the lower area 👍. Week 1 - Day 1 20L Super Air Pots with a bottom layer of clay pebbles, (an inch deep at the centre point) and topped off with Growdog’s 70/30 coco perlite mix. The tops of the pots are covered by green plastic water distributers to evenly spread the water from the 12” watering rings. 2 lights; each 300W actual draw, currently inside the tent. 2 more coming next week to make a total of 4, across the 6 plants achieving a true watt draw of 1200W. Aiming for 1g/watt Germinated seeds from FAST BUDS, were planted and hand watered using tap water pH’d to high 5.8 to low 5.9 with H&G Roots Excl. giving a nice PPM of 362 to start. The BudBox tent is a 2x2x2m, using a Medusa Boosted XL run off trays to a waste brain were the run off can be tested. This will then be recirculated into the feeding tank again. The feed tank will a standard 100L water butt, retro fitting pumps inside for Feeding and Pump to waste - for cleaning the tank out each week. Another 100L water butt will contain a store of filtered RO water which will fill the feeding tank. A 10L PureMate humidifier is set at 65%, along with 2x RAM 16” oscillating wall fans which are mounted to the top of the tent for maximum coverage - set to lvl1 on swing giving the 25°C. No extraction yet. This is ready and waiting. 8” HyperFresh fan with a RHINO 8”x600 pro filter. We are using 8” acoustic ducting.✌️🏻 Week 1 - Day 2 No change. Keeping the new environment stable is difficult. The humidifier is not large enough for the space. Week 1 - Day 3 Fed PH RO water this morning. Trying to keep the humidity up inside the tent. They have popped up! It begins :D Did a feed of 5.8PH RO with CocaA&B 0.4ml/l, Roots excl 0.3ml/l, Calmag 0.2ml/l for a 150PPM. 300ml was used to moisten the coco per pot. Extraction fully connected. Environment stable at 23-24°C, trying to stay at 23.3°C. Humidity fluctuating 47-60%, humidifier struggling, but hopefully be okay. Week 1 - Day 4 All 6 are up and reaching. Husks hopefully will pop off soon. Will be doing another small feed this evening to keep the coco moist. Little leaves have appeared!! Fed another 300ml, 5.8PH @ 151PPM/ plant. Week 1 - Day 5 All shooting up now, tallest at 5cm down to 3.5cm 🌱 I gently helped the last 2 husks off the smallest ones to hopefully even them up. Gave the coco 1L of RO water around the edges. Week 1 - Day 6 Nothing to report this morning. Another PPM feed to be done shortly. Soaked the coco until run off with around 3-4L per pot using 5.8PH nuit water; 0.4 Canna A&B, 0.2 Calmag, 0.3 Roots Excl. 152PPM. First time we tested the Medusa brain - works well and pumps away to the feed tank, need to change one of the low trays to be a boosted tray for better drainage. Giving 5 boosted trays and one normal. Hand feeding up until this point, but will connect up the automation in the next week. Week 1 - Day 7 Strongest are growing around 1cm a day now. Tallest 6cm, smallest at 4cm. Looking forward to next weeks progress :) Bought a wet&dry vac - best thing ever!! Haha. Cleans everything in sight plus all the water from the dirty run off. Lifted all the pots, still a good weight to them so no feed or RO water today I think. Bring on week 2! 💪🏻

Been super busy so lagged on getting this posted. All plants are down and currently drying. The weather has gotten chilly so taking longer to dry than I would like. Super excited to get it jars and all cured up. First plant is all done and came out bomb af.... a couple of friends didn't even think it was real..lol.. because it was to purple.... the potency is totally there on this one ☝️ sometimes purple lacks that but this stuff has it all. Bag appeal, smell, taste, and potency!!! This is not a commercial strain due to the slow growth and average yield, but a conasuers dream. Didn't weight wet weight, but will post final dry weight

********* Week 12 - February 24 to March 1, 2020 (Days 78 to 84 from seed coming out of medium) Well this is not the update I was expecting to provide! She did go into darkness on Sunday night and came out on Tuesday evening. Everything was ready and did the final video and pictures. When scanning the pictures though there were still a lot of clean trichomes!!😩😪 So made the decision to keep her going for another week and back into the flower tent and fed her some sweetener again😀😀 If I had another seed of her I would have stayed committed for comparison but I didn't want to pull this one too early and will ride it out. For the most part then the week was really just about keeping her in a dark part of the tent and gave the medium a couple of feedings. She has responded well to this extra time and when reviewed on Saturday she had become more frosty and the trichomes finally went all cloudy. There are more amber in her now as a result of waiting but the trade off was that more now became cloudy than became amber👍👍 Next update will be a harvest!! Green Poison has been wonderful to help along as she has aged. She has many stems with a lot of bud sites that have filled out. Her smells have been more earthy and floral and I am excited to see how they change as she cures. Three week flush👍😁😁 Thanks for the opportunity Sweet Seeds! Again, not much to add as this was simply a week of letting her ripen, keep environment cool & dry, and not worry about nutrient issues😀 Little more detail: Feb 24/20 - Day 78 - In the dark today Feb 25/20 - Day 79 - back into Flower tent.....she is not ready for harvest yet. Feb 26/20 - Day 80 - 3L water with Rezin & Liquid Weight @ 1.5ml/L = 80ppm and 6.1pH - Some of her hairs have turned a dark red. They are drying and not much can be done. Feb 27/20 - Day 81 - Nothing today Feb 28/20 - Day 82 - 2L plain water. No additives and didn't pH. Feb 29/20 - Day 83 - nothing today - take down tomorrow. No bug or disease problems. I even took her off veg nutes way too soon and she recovered like a fucking champ. I’m popping two more this week. Unfortunately i didn’t weigh it because Of some very unfortunate circumstances that I was dealing with at the time. I essentially had to vacate my premise within 24 hours. A few days after harvest. Anyways. I ended up smoking the whole thing with my friends and it was straight fire. The terps were crazy also. Super sweet. After curing she had a very sweet smell like bubblegum / grape. This was only my second harvest ever.

As every one says, less is more with nutrients! I think I got a bit excited as it was my first grow. Already leaves my lesson and my outdoor photoperiod girls are looking great ! Check out the diary:) can’t fault it really. Minimal effort and minimal cash spent! Got just under half an ounce of product and bearing in mind I had to throw some of the buds away due to bud rot! I think another week of flush would have been great for them to!

one of the plants is flowering and the buds on it look nice so far but like said last week, it also has some seeds/pollen sacs, so I'm hoping there'll still be some buds on it by harvest, the other two haven't started flowering much yet, I've only taken videos because I don't have a light and I couldn't see what I was taking a photo of

Well, this is week five and these lovely ladies are taking off. The only problems I have had (knock on wood) was the autopots valve sticking and flooding occasionally. I think I have them figured out though. Customer service from them is amazing. I will as always update throughout the week. Take care and happy growing. 🙂

11. Woche Hallöchen 👋🏻 Ich habe mich zuletzt weniger um sie Düngertechnisch gekümmert aber ich werde sie jetzt noch paar mal Feeden, bevor ich dann zum Spülen übergehe. Die ersten Anzeichen sehen nach ner frostigen North Thunderfuck aus, bin gespannt, wie die sich weiter entwickeln wird von Mittlerer Bloom Phase zur Spätbloom. Die Bud Booster kommen jetzt als Additive mit ins System und ich hoffe, die legt nomma bisschen was drauf in den nächsten 2 Wochen. Dann sollte so langsam auf die Zielgerade kommen denke ich. Diese Woche noch feeden und dann ab Woche 12 Spülen, dass ist mal ein Plan. Ich habe leider Thripse im Garten, der Ausbruch ist zum Glück nicht verheerend aber nervig, gerade bei den Jungpflanzen. Ich habe jetzt angefangen Raubmilben gegen die Thripse anzuwenden, bin gespannt, ob das was bringt 😄
