Hey Folks, unfortunately “Olivia” didn’t make it. The seed came up and even “obstetric assistance” was in vain. But all the other ladies are doing well. I mixed in some leftover BioBizzLight and FullMix. About 10% each. Clay balls down there for about 10% as drainage. 70% is Plagron Coco. I give 25% Light. For my birthday there was a ProFan+20W for me. Every now and then you have to give yourself a gift. And I don't regret it. It provides good wind and is more economical than my old one. Que pasa familia, vamos con la decim semana de floración de estas Rainbow Melón feminizadas de fastbuds. Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros que además provocó un shock que también solucione. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/24 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Las flores están bien prietas y resinosas, sacan unos aromas muy fuertes que no logro describir así, está acabando de madurar, los tonos que se marca son increíbles, no veas como se han puesto. Esa familia, actualizamos las northern light xL, hay una de las 3 que destaca del resto por tamaño y flores, pintan muy bien, se ve buen color y bastante vigorosas, tutelamos 1. Esta semana los nutrientes siguen de la misma manera, es notorio el exceso de Nitrogeno por ende se disminuira en los próximos riegos, se realizaron podas apicales en los clones que no les hice anteriormente para que alcanzaran más altura. Dentro de esta semana instalare la malla scrog Kanovi para guiar los vigorosos brotes. Además esta semana ya esta retomando el crecimiento la planta madre variedad Tangie la cual cumplió su ciclo de propagación por esquejes y porfin florecerá. I defoliated a ton of fan leaves and took away a few sucker shoots, and now I think I need to re arrange the branches in the net for optimal spacing. Well, boys and girls and those who don't differentiate, it's Weed Doctor Sam here and I'm about to fail gloriously or succeed by the skin of my teeth. This being my first grow -- of any kind, let alone a hydroponic grow involving (potentially) advanced training techniques -- I fully expect things to go wrong. The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Hey everyone 🤗. This week they both continued to develop very well. I especially like Pheno 1 visually ☺️ although both phenotypes smell very good 👍. Flowering day 28 Today the tent was cleaned, the humidifier refilled and both plants sprayed with Canna Cure :-). Flowering day 29 Both were poured today with 1.2 L per pot 🙂. Both were also checked for their health and pests 👍. Everything looks great 🙏🏻. Flowering day 30 Again the tent was cleaned and fresh osmosis water was filled into canisters. Flowering day 31 Today 1.5 l per pot was poured so that some drainage comes out again. therefor two days are not poured 😋. Flowering day 32 The tent was cleaned, the humidifier was filled, both plants were checked for vitality and the entire electronics were checked for functionality. Flowering day 33 Today both were sprayed again with Canna Cure and checked. Flowering day 34 We have reached the last day of this week and again 1.2 L were poured per pot and the tent was cleaned 👍. The top of the pots are ~15” from the floor. - [17:25]: Done and the reservoir is looking great. --- The current pressure is holding steady at 2psi which is perfect for the BluMat system which requires 1-3psi to function on gravity feeds. --- Also split the water line and have a few feet of extra 8mm tubing with a valve and 3mm reducer on the end. --- Now calibration of the BluMat sensors can be done outside of the tent. This girl is finally starting to put on a little stretch, but she is still by far the shortest plant of the bunch. I lifted her up about 3 inches so she doesnt get completely smothered out over the next week. I will lift her another 3 inches if she doesnt make more upward progress soon. I moved her to the front of the room for easy access since she need daily defoliation being as bushy as she it. She is definitely different than any in house strain I have seen. Besides that she is a happy girl. Starting to see a few pistils and she is transitioning. The scrog setup is working great for the plants that have grown through it. It is really going to help me put each top where I want it and keep them spread out so more of those lower branches can make their way up. So far everything is running nice and smooth just the way we like it.
