Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. 📆 Semana 6 Con el coco totalmente equilibrado, la absorción se mantiene limpia y constante, con raíces activas y sin acumulaciones. La estructura ya está definida y la energía se concentra en la producción floral. Los cogollos comienzan a compactarse con más claridad, apilando cálices y mostrando cada vez más resina en puntas y hojas cercanas. El cultivo se mantiene estable, con buen color y aromas que empiezan a intensificarse. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

2024-12-25 to 2024-12-31 With less than 2 weeks remaining to this grow, I started the flush - straight water w/ CALMAG for one more watering, then straight water for the last 10 days. With the high humidity from all the rain we have had, as well as higher than average winter temps, it has been difficult to find that sweet spot for Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD). However, we are predicted to have cold and dry weather starting New Years Eve and lasting for a couple of weeks. This will allow me to control the lung room environmental aspects to try to hit that VPD sweet spot for the last couple of weeks of flower. 12-26 Day 47/101 Flushed w/ water and CALMAG - 1.5 gal each 12-30 Day 51/105 Trichomes are mostly milky, with less than 5% amber 12-31 Day 52/106 .5 gal water + CALMAG each. Leaves are starting to show nutrient deficiency from the flush. Water overflow in trays is reddish in color, indicating a large amount of nutrients still in the soil.

Tag 40: Ich gebe zusätzlich Alg a mic in das Gießwasser zur Stressbehandlung. Tag 46: Ich habe mich entschlossen diesen Grow abzubrechen. Seit kurzem werden die Blätter hell und fühlen sich trocken an. Ich vermute es liegt daran das ich einmal ein großen Schluck zu hartes Wasser genommen habe. Ich hatte einmal zuwenig Gießwasser vorbereitet (PH wert eingestellt 6,3) und es lief unten nicht raus so nahm unvorbereitetes (PH wert 7 etwa) Wasser zum Schluss, zunächst wuchs die Pflanze normal weiter, doch nach 1-2 Wochen stagniert das Wachstum die Blätter sind hell und trocken, auch die neuen Triebe sehen nicht gut aus.

04/23/2022 I think lemon OG is done Give her a few days more, Biscotti Skunk, grape skunk about 2 -3 weeks out, the Biscotti Skunk has very strong camphor mothballs smell. Not quite sure what to think of her hope buds fill out well. Grape Skunk is doing a bit better but lemon og has performed best in my specific micro climate, others have more flowering to. If I'm going 63 days in flower it might as well be a Sativa variety.

She is now in her 2 litre airpot.

Se notaron varios pistilos mas, y un crecimiento en otras colas que no llegaban a la altura de las principales. En las fotos se puede apreciar el crecimiento. 7ma semana, Abby. Día 87(30/09): A partir de ayer ya empezamos a regar con agua, hacia calor así que probé con agua un poquito mas fría, y no se si será por el frío o por la etapa pero demostró mas tricomas de los comunes, una evolución grande a pasos lentos.

These convenient premixed pellets integrated into the soil eliminate the need for additional liquid NPK. This simplification allows us to focus on other essential aspects of her training. Today 24.9 1st day of flowering Last week was steady growth and I added some bacteria and microbes in a form of Voodoo Juice and some silica also. It's nice to see how fast it affects on your stems and they start thickening right away 👌 I have some heavy duty defoliating to do gonna do it in this and next week.
