Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Exactly what we want! 💧 Precision Feeding with Aptus Nutrients 💧 This week, I took a deep dive into my Aptus nutrient lineup and shared a video explaining how each product affects the water’s pH and TDS. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. The PCT-2 keeps me informed about the electrical conductivity and temperature of my solution, which is key for monitoring how well my plants are absorbing nutrients. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption. 1st photo We did the scrog, it helped us a little more to use as support to tie the branches with threads and manipulate them as we wanted, so we tamed it. but they kept growing as my colleague affirms

First week going smooth,just a little bit cold but still feeling good

Getting ready to chop her down today. She's been in the dark a few days now...what a beast tho. Not sure ill be able to trim her entire plant and hang whole due to how big she is.. Update: Harvest complete. 2#8oz. She did foxtail on me, but I guess that's what happens when you let her grow and grow 😆. She's a huge unruly Medusa.. I expected nothing less!! Lol 😂😂00

She rocketed up! Given her some LST to stretch her out and topped her one last time just before. Will be flipping in the next week or so, she’s got big internodal spacing, so this has helped her gain some more veg on her. Nothing fed other than a compost tea - the soil is doing totally fine without anything more added in yet.

Ok so finally decided to move the girls into the flower tent so switched to 12/12 also flowering under a 315watt cdm 3k bulb the new cdm light is doing wonders for the girls

02/15 - She suffered a slight burn but since has bounced back - I removed the burnt leaves - topped her 2 top colas - will top a couple more colas in the next coming days - I will only top 2 or 3 more times. 02/18 - Week 2 of Veg and she is running amazingly - She will be ran as a stand alone not cloned - Only topping once - light nute feeds began last week - For now running in nursery tent (2x2)

OK this was my 1st grow and I set everything up went through all my controls and away to go ... wrong after pre flower came I couldn't understand why I wasn't getting these ladies to flip.... So I went through everything with runoff feeds Everything you can think of except my timers on the lights and this low and behold was the problem!! where I was going to the tent at similar times everyday the light was on and the timers were set right on the clock except I didn't see the switch on the side that makes the timer work continuously or to how the clock is set....🙈😔 Found this and away to go my ladies had some well needed sleep and away to go they flipped By now these had all bushed right out but were getting no tricomes I now had a hell of a load of feeds and kept up the way I was feeding Water Water Feed and all 4 plants in my tent were all heading for the finish line at the same time.... And now I've cut the Northern and the jack down and from my northern lights I had 200g dry weight I didn't do a wet weight it was too hard to do in the space I had (too many colas and massive nugs along with the stragglers that were lost in amongst it all ) She was really resilient and to have come through all those weeks of no rest and only light for 24hrs continuously I'm surprised that I've got this far Flavours and smells are great and the smoke isn't the strongest but when cure now I will see how this little lady comes on I'm happy for my 1st and have learned so much throughout this journey I will update with more but the next diary will be of the other lady in the tent and will give a more detailed explanation of the full journey but as far as crop goes she gave and gave and gave that little more !! Thanks all for following and I hope my next write up will be all the more detailed for u 😀 As she drys mire and more and I've got the exact weight down her figures are not really changing as I've dried her down as much as I want to ....even if this was something that I wanted to keep as a heavier product weather it was for keeping for myself which is what I will be doing rather than to try to get extra weight if I was doing this grow for resale, but this was never the case it was always a grow I've done to help lower my own smoking costs for my own gain and not resale... So again very happy as these final weights are getting revised there will be more to add to the weight with 1 more plant on the harvest but almost double if not more than doubling what I have already put on but I will change my numbers to 2 lots p .tent and an extremely challenging massive yield OMG 😲 she has yes given given and given more beyond more !!!!

Giorno dopo giorno sembrano migliorare gradualmente e fino ad adesso promettono grandi soddisfazioni perché ormai hanno una struttura perfetta, molto diramate e molte di loro superano già il metro di altezza! Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! 8/30 Rained yesterday and pretty much all night. Plants looked happy this morning. I'm thinking about feeding today or tomorrow. The late flowering special kush doesn't have much longer and it will be done. I'm going to need to do another treatment for the thrips. Nights are so cold that I think they aren't a major problem. No signs of septoria either. No signs of ANY molds or mildew. Even where I took the pillar out but I removed a lot. I am noticing (especially on the pink kush and the special kush in the back) the wierd "top hat" lower buds like I previously did. I don't think it's the chipmunk. It's like they eat fresh buds and leave the top there. I think it might be earwigs but I haven't seen ANY. Birds have been keeping my garden pretty clean. Almost everytime I walk down there it's like a flock of birds takes off lol. I was watching the little finches all perched on my cage. I've seen them dart in and grab a snack. It's pretty cool how it works. Symbiotic relationship. I feed the birds amd they help keep my garden pest free. EDIT: Went to check the girls around 430. It seems like everytime I see the flowers they've swelled in size. Especially the natural mk ultra. Everything is really coming together. Pink kush is behind but it's starting. I'm getting lots of fall colors but I'm losing lots of leaves too. I wouldn't have defoliated as good as I have if I hadn't had problems. I thought the plants were done getting taller or stretching but after this rain they ALL seem taller. The buds are swelling as well. I'm on the home stretch with the early special kush. Few more weeks. Everything looked amazing tonight. I wanted to take some pictures but I left my phone. Smell is greatly increasing. 8/31 I don't get how we got NO rain the ENTIRE summer but it's rained the past few nights? Maines bipolar weather I guess. I see the same shit as prior years. Something crawls up and eats small shoots and developing buds but leaves larger ones alone. I thought it was earwigs before. I'm not sure now. I'll have to go look at night and figure out what's eating shit. It's just small secondary shoots mostly. Stuff I should've pruned but I leave on so the won't eat my fucking colas. I got some work to do but I'm getting closer. 9/1 Well we made it to September. Pink kush is finally STARTING to form little buds. After some research (and watching those fucking locusts try to fly into my cage but can't because they are to fucking big. I was lucky I found that enormous one on the stalk of the furthest special kush right where the tip cola starts. Luckily I was able to get him. Didn't have to take pics or a video or even check if they need water. It rained a little last night and the buds were a little wet. I'm planning to feed when I get back. If they need water I'll give it to them. My early special kush is getting real close. I want to harvest at peak timing but sometimes exigent circumstances screw that up. However i think I'll be able to let this girl finish properly. EDIT: Went back over to check weights and everything was super heavy. Plants are all turning fall colors. I checked the trichs on my special kush, mk ultra and 10th planet. Everything looked great in the sun! Everything is swelling and getting frostier everyday. I'm hoping that the pink kushs will finish. My early special kush LOOKS like it should be done but it's not. Looking at the trichs and stigmas it needs more time. I've found on several plants that between the; giant caterpillars, earwigs and pillars that they can take a whole branch and pretty much decimate it in a night. I chased one of those giant locusts around my Cafe and it finally got out. Bastard was almost the size of a small bird! I should feed tonight and possibly do a treatment for pests.

6/7 flipped to flower leafs lil droopy due to over watering a lil bit but it’ll bounce back and everything else looking good tho I think the flowering stretch is going be wild haven’t grown one this tall before going have to move the light up some more soon
