Day 77 - I have spread the branches even more to create better airflow and now I'm happy how she looks and the buds getting fat and frosty. She will be a frosty beast 😁

Sep 13: nearing the finish line. Doing a chemical flush this year cuz my buds lasy year often didn’t burn very well due to too much P. Using Final Flush from Grotek which uses citric acid as a chelating agent. Other flushes like Flawless Finish use EDTA which I’d rather avoid.

Day 57 - Starting week 9 today and everything is definitely looking and smelling great. Gave her the first feeding of the week today and will start monitoring the trichs here soon but she’s definitely still got some time left. Day 58 - All is looking good and nothing big to update but a few pictures to keep track of the buds fattening. Day 59 - Man she’s getting fat! Measure one bids width and it’s close to 3.5” wide and she’s still got a couple weeks still to go! Gave her a good drink of pH’d water today. Day 61 - Gave the girl the final feeding of the week today and she’s doing nothing but get fat. Did a quick check of the runoff pH and it’s coming out just as it’s going in, 6.6. Can not wait for this girl to finish. Day 63 - Ending week 9 and this thing is a beast, at least for me. She’s is fat and happy and just counting down till chop time but pistils are still white and she’s still fattening up so thinking another 2 weeks or so.

The final week for both grapefruit by Fast Buds I have given another generous feeding of a compost tea to ensure all the microbes are at their full strength before the flushing begins next week. Both are frosting up nicely and showing a little stress from the light, bleaching the top colas and causing some foxtailing. I’ve increased tent air flow, reduced temps and will leave it at that. Trichomes ate quickly clouding up so I’m giving extra attention to time the chop right, my prediction is that it will be in the next 2 weeks. J’ai du sortir les deux pots potager en avant pour pouvoir étaler les plantes à l’horizontal et les éloigner de la lumière :( à défaut d’avoir une belle diversité dans la tente on aura une 4x4 couverte de têtes. Petit top dressing de Bio Bloom en complément, on centre les pots et on travaille le scrog. Encore une bonne semaine de stretch et on devrait avoir notre format final. I had to get the two veggies pots out of the room so I could spread the plants horizontally and get them to a good distance from the lights. :( We won’t have a broad diversity inside the tent but at least we will get a sea of green 4x4 feet big. Little top dressing of BioBloom, we get the pot centered and we work the scrog. A good week of stretch left and we should have our final format ready.

That’s the calcium + nitrogen backbone for the feed. Step 2 – FERMAKOR PK Base (Part B) 15 L water in the main barrel → added 30 ml FERMAKOR PK Concentrate, mixed well. This forms the main P + K part of the formula. Step 3 – Combine Solutions Slowly poured the Calcinit mix into the barrel while stirring — no reaction, still crystal clear. That confirms the mix is stable and precipitation-free. 🌿 Step 4 – FPJ / FFJ Batch Added 30 ml homemade FPJ (fish + veg batch) ≈ 1 ml/L. Color shifted to a light-amber tone — looks alive and active. 🍋 Step 5 – Citric Acid Balance Added 1 tsp citric acid after everything was blended to fine-tune pH and help chelate micros later on. 📦 Step 6 – Top Up & Check Filled to the 30 L mark with plain water → pH tested with drops, showing yellow-green — roughly 5.8 – 6.0 range. The plants have been receiving around 1300 µmol of light for more than a week. The osmosis water is enriched with fertiliser up to 1.9 ms This value is not expected to rise any further as the plants have become very dark green. There may only be water for a few days. The development up to this point in the 4th week of flowering is very satisfactory. Both genetics have obviously been thoroughly selected.

13th week. If I am not wrong I started 12/12 light schedule with 36 hours darkness before at beggining of the week 7, so it is the 7th week of flowering.... or 6th ?😅 Well buds are getting thicker, and just checked the trichomes now they are more matured but still need I think at least 3 weeks to be done properly. When I see the milky trichomes, I will start flushing. Wednesday: End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm like before. Buds are thicker smelly and a lot of resin. It is totally coated with THC, and sticks my finger together. This is the last day I fertilized the plant, from tomorrow I will start flushing. I will give maximum 2 more weeks to be done. I also removed some more fan leaves (those are getting yellow) so I will make some tea. I really love the citrus taste and the smell of this plant.
