I have been super excited with everything up to this point . I have made all my preparations that I think need to be made and did some trial runs on my environment. I starting preparing around the 15th of January and my set up was complete around the 19th of February. I spaced my purchases out based on budget constraints. I wanted a cheap and efficient grow area. Some thing I paid more for because through all the research I did I felt quality was more important. If you are as excited as I was, you get pretty anxious when awaiting order status when you first order your seeds. You should remember you are ordering from an online seed bank not amazon. Most work Monday - Friday and are in a complete different time zone. I ordered my seeds from seed supreme Seedbank. I placed my order on 31 January and mailed money as directed. This was the scariest part for me especially when I didn’t hear anything back. I finally received a email on the 12th if February saying my invoice was paid and then subsequently mailed out on the 15th and I received on the 20th. Day 3 - 2/25/19: Plant number 1 which had the longest tap root broke the surface I started a time lapse on it to cover the first moments of birth 😭 daddy is already so proud lmao. I also added 1ml of Rapid start and diluted into 1 gal. Day 4 - 2/26/19: Checked the status this morning prior to work and two more have reached the surface only two more remaining which I suspect will reach by the time I make it home from work. Misted this morning pot was looking pretty dry with the exception of the humidity domes, which I removed on all the sprouted seedling. I intend on shifting to a 20 on 4 off cycle and starting my other fans. Day 5 - 2/27/19: All five plants have broke the surface. I did a normal watering this am still utilizing the dome to avoid watering on top of the plants. I lowered the light again some of the early sprouters we stretching a little more than I wanted and appeared leggy to me. Day 6 - 2/28/19: Nothing really to report today. Excited for the name reveal tomorrow. I did a light watering. I played around with my ppm meter and ec I definitely plan on using in conjunction with my first feeding this weekend. Day 7 - 3/1/19: Was watering this morning normal levels. I also mixed a new feed to be ready for them tomorrow. While I was watering # 5 fell over I accidentally tipped it with the spout. I grabbed some left over soul to help prop it up hopefully she is ok.

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. ---GENERAL COMMENT--- Girls are at day 4 technically, but i like to update Sunday always, so keep that in mind, is 1/2 a week now. From germination to soil emerging took 3-4 days, no issues at all. 100% germination rate from multiple breeders till now. I will try my best to do a stress free grow again, so will grow mainly naturally. ---RQS QUICK ONE--- She is tiny, tiny, tiny. The smallest seedling i ever have worked with. Hope she takes off soon! ---DAY 10 UPDATE--- over some days she got volume, just started to use RECHARGE, and wow, that thing works, 48H you could tell something is different, since watering with it the stem is thicker and is growing more vigorous, lets see how it will impact overall! ---DAY 14 UPDATE--- This is the last day of this week and this girl is showing some kind of wired markings since the beginning in the first sets of leaves, will do her anyways... She grew a lot, showing already the intension of shooting up more stems like her cousin. She will be on plain water and recharge till i stabilise and figure what is going on with her, at least for a week. This strains tend to be easy and do well with low nutes, light and etc, really basic, i like to pay to see so i never give up from a pheno, but is not fun to have issues... No worries though there is always a crop after the other 😎👍. Lets see what happens next.
