This week I performed a good defoliation to clean up the canopy and improve light penetration and airflow. I also added a second scrog net to help support and organize the branches as the plant continues developing in flower. On the positive side, I haven’t seen any more signs of the thrips since the treatment, so hopefully the issue is under control now 🌱💪

Another week has passed, and our beloved Cosmos F1 continues to amaze and astonish. It's as if the universe itself has bestowed upon her an extra dose of magic and wonder. Additionally, I've incorporated Aptus Holland Enzym into her feeding routine, as I'm committed to preserving the vitality of the soil for future use. So I learned from my last auto plants not to top them, these ones I have more done training (lst) by the time I would top my photos... they are growing good, one plant is and has always been strange. Giving tap water that I let sit but got a good rain and lots of rain water so I will be giving that from now on. Until now I watered less than drenching the soil, but today I gave a good water and I think I will do so from now on.

Day 65 (12/31): no change. Day 66 (1/1): I'm thinking the plant on the left will be finished before the plant on the right. The leaves seem to be fading and the trichomes seem to be more mature on that plant also. 11pm: just watered the plants nutes. Same as last time. Left plant 6mL micro 12 mL bloom. Right plant 8mL micro 16 mL bloom Day 67 (1/2) Day 68 (1/3) Day 69 (1/4): just got home from a trip. Plants seem to be doing fine. Nearing the end I assume. Plants will probably need water tonight 10pm: just fed my plants nutes again. Both plants received 8mL of micro and 16 mL of bloom. Day 70: (1/5) Day 71 (1/6): plants look good this morning. The left plant is definitely nearing the end of its life. The plant on the right still could have another week or more. Just posted a video: plant on the left definitely doesn't have very large or dense nugs but it has a lot of them. The plant on the right has some super dense nugs. I'm excited to see what they both yield.

Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! For this grow, I'm using some of the seeds I won at the Summer Buds contest from last year. I kept the seeds in my fridge door during one year. It worked very well because all the seeds successfully germinated after 48h! 😎 I used 3x3 seeds. I selected 2x3 seeds with the bigger root to put them in some pots. I will let them grow a bit and then select the 3 best plants to make it until the harvest. It's the first time I grow some Fast Buds under a light and in a controlled environement, I'm really curious to see how it turns out! Just topped for second time, one phenomenal is looking a little leggy and showed more heat stress than the other. The second is a beefcake, both recovered from topping flawlessly. Pulled some low growth on both

Still having an issue with watering. They don't seem to be drinking as much as I thought... Sometimes it's 36-48 hours between waters, and yes I am watering til a little runoff dribble out.

This ladies without a doubt one of the easiest growing strains for me. She has not wilted or showed even a little bit of fatigue despite the 20 hour light cycle. Her friend on the other hand seems to do that every few days. The smells wonderful already very strong & smells almost a lot like the classic strawnana. I'm so excited to see how she grows this next week!!!!! Her trichomes are really beginning to spread and thicken. I hope you enjoy! This week was solid again. I’m monitoring the two back plants in slightly smaller pots as they are using much less water right now and are also a few days in growth behind their sisters in the larger pots. Very happy with the growth but I wanted to test the plants tolerance to the light at 36” above the canopy. I simply placed 12” pots under each of them rather than lower the light as I have it in a fixed position right now at the very top of the tent. Plants are responding well...or at least there is no negative response as they are still growing very 💪. I am constantly LST’ing in order to keep the canopy low and flat. The Durban’s are only at 10” and the Cali’s are at 13”. I broke one top on the Cali Haze but I grafted it back on with some on hand electrical tape. These girls are much tougher to keep low than the Durban’s so I need every branch! Bumped their feed up to an EC of 1.4 and will continue to increase this week to see how they respond. So far there is no signs of leaf burn. I’ve pre programmed my entire grow with spectrum changes during their transitions and such but i went with a 5 week veg and I’m almost contemplating flipping them after week 4? Anyone else grow 4 plants in a 5x5 tent before? If so, how long did you veg for? I need to keep them fairly low as they are both sativas and will stretch a fair amount and I want to hammer them with UVB at the end but California Lightworks suggests a minimum distance of 24” be maintained between plants And UVB lights.

Start of week 5, both are stretching now. (Day 36) Today i watered both 2.5L with nutrients (Day 37) Watered 2000ml today and also did some LowStressTraining. It was a little to strong an girl #1 (Day 39) Watered again 2500ml with nutrients. (Day 41)
