12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Plant has started to develop trichome and buds have started to swell. A very weak smell has started to appear. 4 more weeks to go. Hopefully 🤞🏻 it finishes it soon.

Day15 - Day17: I had some difficulties to get the humidity right. It was either too high or fluctuating too much. I ended up getting a timer for the plug and running the humidifier 15mins every hour. To help with air flow, I have the main duct fan running 4 times a day for an hour. To ensure that there's airflow around the plant, I have a fan in the light as well as a smaller clip-on fan that runs during light hours. I'm not sure how the camera moved on day17... I only watered it mid-day. Day18: The timer on the humidifier and Duct Fan is now keeping the humidity in a good space. VPD now under control Day19: The Vivosun controller perfectly adapted the lighting schedule to an hour earlier, to ensure 6hrs of darkness. UInfortunately the RPi kept it's 04:00 schedule (makes sense). So I captured an hour of darkness. Adapted everything. Will have 18hrs again from Day20 onwards. Day20: In the next days I'll lift the camera higher for a better view of what's happening up top. My mesh-netting-dingsbums will arrive and I'll use this as a platform for the pi+camera. Day21: I'm not sure if I like this angle. I'll only keep it like this until she goes into veg-mode. It at least shows the new nodes growing from different perspective

Week 9 has officially started, and she's entering the final phase with some real beauty. Buds are swelling up across the canopy with a thick layer of frost and lots of white pistils still pushing. Trichomes are now clearly visible under magnification with early signs of cloudiness, but no amber yet. The lower fan leaves have started to fade naturally, and I’m starting to see hints of purple coming through on some of the sugar leaves and bracts. I gave her a full-strength compost tea at the end of Week 8 and topped off the auto-watering base to keep her coasting. Temps have been high due to a heat wave, spiking around 88°F, but airflow and moisture have been stable thanks to the dual fan setup and bottom watering. I also added DE to the topsoil to knock back a few gnats and placed sticky traps nearby. No training this week so far, just light tucking and one small defoliation session in the center of the canopy to improve airflow. She's healthy, sticky, and starting to ripen — right on track for harvest in the next couple of weeks.

Week 8 of flower and she looking good but not done in both look and trichomes might need 7-10 more day to finish the ripening of buds. She does smell super good even though stay in 30 degree Celsius condition around 2 weeks which is not optimum but it's the best i can do for her. The clip with flash on show her trichomes very clearly and frosty, however she is around 80% cloudy another 15% still clear and some about to turn amber can't wait for her to finish. This plant was a breeze to grow, finished quickly, and yielded a decent amount of colorful, fruity and rock hard nugs. A crowd pleaser, this smoke goes down easy and hits hard. More indica leaning than sativa, use this flower before bed for a nice heavy sleep. Great bag appeal and taste. Excellent work by Fastbuds once again. Girls got watered Day 45 girls are filling out great Day 46 girls got watered today they are starting to fill out Day 47 girls are growing fast Day 49 girls got watered and they smell so so sweet

Performed the "back building" technique this week to help bulk up the top cola. Watering the soil when dry, and defoliating the dry-dying fan leaves.

I think there’s been some sort of salt build up / nutrient lock. The lower leaves have been turning a lighter green and some even yellow on SL plants. Most stems are red. Seems like it’s a pH problem. I flushed them with 4-5 litres of water to reduce the nutrient concentration in the roots. Going to introduce molasses in next feeding! Organic Unsulphered And also stop the Micro (nitrogen)

i was surprised that she was done on 2/15/25 spidermites had completely taken over one bud so i decided to check trichomes and she seemed ready.

more later 3rd Apr, today is day of two Amnesias - its time. they are on peak trichoms are milky 10% amber. Zkittles is on grotek final flush strawberry I trying if it change her smell and she is good now, but I fed her week ago with rocket fuel some fertilizers for peppers (11-6-8) coz im was out with bloom fertilizer, Amnesia 3 get this feed too but little bit improvemed with bio grow and rest of biobloom, yesterday I bought Powder Feeding PK booster/mineral and thats should be good. More later after some smoke :D

Week 7 – Day 51 (BT27) A quiet week for RedPure#4 – mostly just watering, observing, and removing an occasional leaf 🍃 The stretch seems to be coming to an end. Height is stable at 40 cm, and space is still manageable 😅 Her buds continue to swell and look very promising 🍇 However, the drain pH remains low at 5.7, which might explain some of the issues she’s showing. After some digging, I suspect the combination of BioBizz soil and Advanced Nutrients is the cause. BioBizz relies on microbes for pH buffering, unlike Plagron or Canna, which use dolomite lime. On top of that, I’m feeding the microbes with Bud Candy – which likely lowers the pH even further 🔬 📌 Takeaway: If you're using Advanced Nutrients, a substrate like Plagron Growmix or Canna Terra might be more compatible. With BioBizz, the pH in runoff stays constantly low despite using water with pH 6.6. RedPure remains the most sensitive strain in the tent – but also one of the most aromatic 🌸💜

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 60 days and flowering stage was 70 days total (harvested tops at day 63th) the total weight of dry buds was : top buds 174 G + lower buds 55 G = 229 G my overview of strain with details: the seeds: unfortunately i only got 1 seed cracked out of 5 so i will not know how much this genetic can get different but at least i got the chance to grow once of this wonderful strain the plant : in every stage you can ensure that you are dealing with a high level plant , she will get big so you have to control her height LST and SCROG highly recommended , will grow very well with tick stalks and big fan leaves , has good resistance for stress and will respond very well to stress trainings , she really has gorilla power in herself , fresh buds on plant : buds are very compact and dense even from start , fresh blossoms smells like pineapple and mango , 2 different shades of sweet smells like you hold 2 junks of pineapple and mango in your hand and you smell them together, she is a trichome and resin factory , very very sticky , very oily , strong smell dried buds: very compact and dense , hard as rocks , has dark colors with purple hues inside it , it smells sweet smoke : very smooth and sweet like lollipop , pineapple , mango like , after 2 minutes it'll kick in and you'll get higher and higher with every breath , has a strange and especial high mind high mostly

About 2,5 weeks of curing done. I have about 234gramms dry until now. Vaped a bit and it's awesome. Pretty strong sativa effect throught the end. Feels like a energy drink.
