Start of week 8. Looks good. No big issues to report so that's good. Dropping feed to 350ppm. Using dry koolbloom for ripening and I plan to start flushing mid week. The gelato is having a hard time standing up. I've tied up branches everywhere. I took clones from plants that were in 3 weeks of flower for those 2 plants. (Monstercropping). It does work where there are way more stems and budsites. The downside is most stems are weak and cannot support alot of weight. It was a good experiment though. Thanks to the community for all the likes and support. Looking to harvest most plants in the next 2 weeks. Tricomes are filling up and beginning to turn cloudy on at least half the plants. Overall I was happy with this strain and I did not have many problems growing. Plant was healthy for the entire grow with little to no signs of deficiencies. The only issue I had with the plant was it started sprouting a good amount of nanners the last few weeks of flower. I was able to pull them all off with tweezers, so now I just need to hope they didn't pollinate any of the other plants. Still need to dry for another two weeks, so I will provide a smoke report at that point. The plant is loud and still has that sweet funk. Excited to smoke it. I will be drying at 60° and 60% RH for 12 to 16 days. 12/28/2022: day 10 of drying at 60° and 60% RH. Smallest branches are starting to snap, but most of the main branches are not providing a noticable cracking sound yet. Buds are a little on the airy side, from what I can tell, but I'll provide a final update once trimmed. 1/2/2023: started trimming today, which is day 15 at 60° and 60% RH 1/4/2022: finished trimming and totaled 84 grams, so just under 3 oz. I know I said earlier the bud was a little airy, but I must have grabbed some lowers. Not the densest ever, but pretty nice nugs. Found some additional nanners I missed, but no seeds so far. Pretty happy with the results.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

We started the week by transplanting the Orange Groovy F1 into the 3.6L pots filled with our SWA super-soil: we waited a bit more compared to the first 8 transplants just to make sure the roots were strong enough. At the same time we realized that the Orange Groovy F2 was the first plant ready for topping. This week we continued using our Lumatek dimming it at 60%. We are watering them with 1L divided by all 9 of them of osmosis water. On days 16 and 17 we topped every plant (except for Golden Pussies which still need a couple days and the Orange groovy F1 which we will not top because of her smaller size). We noticed that most of our plants presented lightly yellowed tips. We think that this is due to the deficiency of some immobile elements such as Ca, Fe, S. To solve this problem, we will put some decanted water (because it doesn't contain Chlorine which kills our bacterial substrate life) to give them the correct nutrients. We failed topping Orange Groovy F2 because the central apical started to grow even after cutting it but we kept it just to see what is going to happen. Golden Pussy F2 has been topped too and it went perfectly as you can see in the pictures. The plants continue to grow out of all proportion!

🌸 Sundae Driver — Week 9 Flower / Week 12 From Seed When the plant decides it’s time… you listen! Another beautiful, crazy, unforgettable week in our Sundae Driver adventure! The tent has been full of aromas, colors, and emotions — and this week brought a little surprise twist. Our Pheno #2, the bold one, the heavy one, decided she couldn’t hold her own weight anymore and literally bowed to gravity. When I arrived, half of her was on the ground, saying: “It’s time, my friend. Harvest me.” And honestly, she was right. Perfect trichomes, perfect colors — it was exactly her moment. So, we harvested her with love, laughter, and respect. Sometimes, nature tells you what to do, and all you can do is listen. We didn’t dry her whole as we usually do — since she broke herself in half, we had to go with a different approach this time. A reminder that every grow has its own personality and surprises. We took it as part of the adventure and had a good laugh about it — because in the end, that’s what growing is: learning, adapting, and enjoying every step. Meanwhile, her sister Pheno #3 is still standing tall and absolutely shining. She’s thriving under the LUMATEK, with her buds swelling beautifully, trichomes sparkling like sugar dust, and her structure holding strong (for now!). 🌱 Nutrients & Environment This week we’re keeping the mix balanced — still using the Plagron PowerBuds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation, together with Aptus Regulator and CalMag Boost. Our pH sits nicely around 6.1, EC around 0.7, and the soil is still rich enough to carry the girls through these final stages. Temperatures hover around 28°C, humidity slightly high at 60+, but both phenos have been adapting beautifully. 🌿 About the Harvest For Pheno #2 — the early harvest wasn’t planned, but it turned out perfect. The trichomes were milky with just a few ambers, the aroma intense, and the density incredible. This shows that sometimes the plants truly know best. Her colas were so heavy they couldn’t stand anymore — that’s a good problem to have! 💪 Super Crop & Structure The earlier super crop training clearly paid off — the buds on the bent tops were some of the thickest and frostiest of all. It’s beautiful to see how resilience leads to strength; those stress points turned into power centers for growth. 🧠 What to Expect & What Not to Expect • Expect Pheno #3 to keep maturing beautifully over the next week or two — trichomes are developing wonderfully, and aromas are getting more complex by the day. • Don’t expect her to rush. She’s taking her sweet time, and that’s perfectly fine — every flower deserves her full moment. • Expect me to keep double-checking the branches — after what happened with #2, I’m making sure no more girls decide to “self-harvest” behind my back. 😂 💬 P.S. — About Holding the Weight For those reading this — always support your branches properly during late flower! When the buds get heavy (and believe me, they will), the stems can only handle so much. It’s always better to tie, stake, or net them before nature makes the decision for you. My low EC + 40% Power of my Sanlight lead to yellowing of the leafs - after raising to EC 1.2+ problem was fixed. In hindsight i raised the EC too slowly which i'll fix for the next run. At this point in time my watering was fully automated using a Fritz DECT200 - this was managed by a python script on my Home NAS Raspi - i made the script publicly available here https://github.com/heyjan/fritzbox_water_automation Watering schedule was 9 shots in total for 60 seconds each

Seems like the 75-85 day lifetime suggestion from fastbuds is on point and not a overstatement, (KEEP IN MIND THEY ARE FEED BY A DRIP SYSTEM FROM SAME WATER TANK / SAME NUTES) - pheno 1 chewed more nitrogen than her siblings since early on, she got a topleafs fade earlier than expected but she is forgiven because she is finishing crazy fast and feels like shes 2 weeks ahead of everyone else bonus point to her she smells strong and full of ice no matter the top fade, pheno 2 is doing avarage smells 100% same as pheno 1 but seems slower (no early fade full of trichomes too) - Pheno 3 🏅words cannot summon her up, she looks purple already and she smells like a elite photoperoid pheno hunt result, honestly id suggest fastbuds to ask me to cut a stem put it in a glass tube with gel and send it to them via mail to study or replicate her genetics if that is possible, i have never seen such absurdly 10/10 auto in my life, her smell is a John Jones punch in the nose, and not just me saying this ive shown it to my friends and they are shocked (keep in mind im a Berliner who is in toch with some of world LOUD hunter legends if yk yk) something was up with this pheno since sporut we dont know what that is but we want more of this one, she also loved the nute dose we gave her with zero problems . Pheno 4 is simmalar in smell with pheno 1 and 2 but her growth seems to be noticably slower she seems to be a bit behind id say 1 week, maybe because shes under the 6inch osculating fan and shes getting a bit less light she has 0 metabolism problems though so thats fine. Dont get me wrong pheno 1 2 and 4 smell strong and amazing too but miles away from pheno 3 and NO pheno 3 isnt a different strain put in the seed bag by mistake if you toch the stem 4 of the phenos have the exact same cherry cola smell pheno 3 is just the CHOSEN ONE.
