UPDATE!!! Guys I need some advice, after watering the plants yesterday I noticed these "Rust" marks in the BlackBerry. Are these still Cal/Mag deficiency spots? none of the other plants have them. Hi Growers, I'm surprised how fast the plants have started growing! The BlackBerry by FastBuds has almost doubled in size and has started producing frostly deep purple leaves and smells awesome! Eariler in the week i noticed some Cal/Mag deficiencies so i've added Shogun CalMag to the nutes and it is slowly clearing up the issue. The Zkittles by FastBuds has given me no issues at all this week and has started to smell like fresh raw mangos😍 The two SweetSeeds Honey Peach CBD plants have been awesome too, no issues with nute burn or CalMag. The HP CBD Plant on the back left was planted 1 week after the rest and has somehow grown to the same size as the zkittles and other honey peach. It hasn't started producing any pistills yet so i will be interested to see the yield difference between the two plants.

March 08 I left the air purifier on by accident again last night so there was a blue light overnight. The buds look good though. I taped the window up so I'm no longer having a humidity issue at night. I alternate between having the light on at 100% and 75% and recently 50% as well. March 10 I just fed them Ph'd water with molasses. Runoff pH 6.2-6.5, ppm 200-600. I'm having trouble getting good shots of the trichromes but I'm starting to see more amber ones. Less than 5%.

Hey now, this week went pretty good, she is stretching but not too much, she went from 28 to 34 inches, but the past couple days she seems to be slowing down with vertical growth. I started the transition today over to bloom nutrients, so I gave her half Veg and half Bloom nutes today, and I will have her all the way switched over by the end of the week. I figure I will probably get a couple more inches which would put her at 3 foot tall. I am definitely seeing pistils start to form all over her. I have been defoliating her about every other day, but I will stop this week and pretty much let her do her thing. I now have her running under a Mars Hydro 300 watt, and a Vipar Spectra 240 watt light. My planl was to fill a 4X4 with a single main-lined plant, and she has almost done that as she is touching the walls on all four sides. There are pretty many tops on her, so hopefully they turn into alot of flower but I will find out soon. I hope everyone had a nice weekend, stay safe, and Blaze On!

It’s the third week of flowering, and the plants are starting to show some exciting progress! 🌿 The buds have begun to build mass, and the first signs of trichome development are visible, giving them a light nice, frosty look. ✨ I did notice a few nutrient deficiencies on the leaves, likely due to underfeeding, as I’m using a medium with 50% coco. To fix this, I adjusted the nutrient levels, and the plants seem to be responding well. 🌱 The plant that wasn’t trained with LST is about a week ahead in development compared to the LST version, showing more advanced bud growth. Also, the smell is becoming more pronounced, with the first hints of that classic, sweet aroma filling the tent. 🍬🌿 I’m excited to see how things continue to unfold in the coming weeks! 😁✨

Alrighty, the fun part’s over—now it’s time to dial things in. The plants seem to have used up the nutrients in the soil and now require a different feeding approach for the flowering stage. But hey, you’ve got to grow to know, and the fix is simple. From now on, I’m fertilizing once a week with BioBizz organic nutrients, following the provided feeding schedule. I’m sticking to the basic components only. I’ve also added some calcium and magnesium, as the lower fan leaves are showing signs of deficiency. Since the plants have become quite bushy, I pruned the lower third over a few sessions—spreading out the stress and avoiding cutting too much at once. Lastly, I’ve set the oscillating fan to medium intensity to prevent stagnant air. The duct fan is now tuned to maintain a VPD between 0.7 and 0.8 kPa.

🌱 Germination Journey with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! Today kicks off an exciting adventure with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco genetics. I’ve got 10 regular seeds ready to sprout, and I’m looking forward to discovering some beautiful female phenotypes—and maybe even a standout male for potential future breeding. It’s been a while since I’ve worked with regular seeds, so I’m thrilled to dive in! Germination Process Overview: Here’s a step-by-step rundown of the germination setup and process, with a special focus on the equipment and nutrients that are helping these seeds thrive right from the start. Step 1: TheCannaKan Germination Pod 🌱 For germination, I rely on TheCannaKan—a device I’ve come to love and trust. It’s designed to create the perfect microclimate for seed germination, and within just 24 hours, the seeds started showing signs of life. By the 32-hour mark, they were all ready to be transferred to the next stage! I can’t recommend this gadget enough for anyone serious about getting strong, early growth from their seeds. • Why TheCannaKan? • Humidity Control: Ensures seeds stay hydrated without oversaturation. • Stable Temperature: Maintains an even temperature around the seeds, so there’s no shock or stalling. • Enhanced Oxygenation: Keeps fresh air circulating, helping prevent mold and ensuring seeds don’t suffocate. Step 2: Transfer to Root Riots & Aptus Holland Supplements 💧 Once the seeds were sprouted, I transferred them into Root Riots, known for their excellent water retention and structure that encourages strong root growth. Root Riots also have a pH-balanced, spongy texture that makes it easy for roots to penetrate, promoting sturdy, healthy root systems. At this stage, I started using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster at 1ml/L each. Here’s why I chose these products for early growth: • Aptus Regulator (1ml/L): Helps strengthen the plants against environmental stresses by supporting cell wall structure. It’s a fantastic choice for giving young seedlings an early boost in resilience. • Aptus Startbooster (1ml/L): This product provides essential microbes and nutrients that stimulate root growth and early plant vigor. Especially for regular seeds, the early root development makes a noticeable difference in later growth stages. Step 3: Lighting with Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD 💡 For lighting, I’m using a Future of Grow (FOG) 600W LED. For the germination stage, I’ve dimmed it to around 200 PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density), which provides just enough light for healthy, strong seedling growth without overwhelming them. • Why Low Intensity? • 200 PPFD ensures that young plants aren’t exposed to too much light, which could cause stress or stunting. This level of intensity is perfect for encouraging healthy development without risking “stretching.” • The FOG LED provides a balanced spectrum tailored to plant growth, setting up these young sprouts for success as they grow. Step 4: Environmental Control with TrolMaster Tent X Controller 📲 For monitoring and control, I’m using the TrolMaster Tent X Controller, which lets me dial in every aspect of the environment to make sure these little ones have the perfect conditions for germination and early growth. • TrolMaster Benefits: • Precision Control: Adjust temperature, humidity, and lighting all in one place. • Notifications: Sends updates in real-time to my device, so I can make adjustments as needed without being physically present. • Consistency: Maintains stable conditions around the clock, reducing stress on seedlings and ensuring they’re thriving. Grow Tips & Reflections: Germination is one of the most crucial stages in a plant’s lifecycle. Starting with strong genetics like Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco, combined with a solid germination setup and the right nutrients, creates the foundation for a successful grow. 💡 Quick Tips for Fellow Growers: • Hydration Balance: Don’t oversaturate! Moisture levels should be high enough for the seeds to sprout but not so wet that they drown. • Light Management: A low PPFD for young seedlings prevents stretch and keeps nodes tight, preparing them for a healthy vegetative phase. • Environment Consistency: Use a reliable controller like the TrolMaster Tent X to manage your settings, and consider monitoring tools for real-time adjustments. Shout Outs to the Community: Big thanks to Terpyz Genetics for these incredible seeds, Aptus Holland for their top-notch nutrients, Future of Grow for the stellar LED lights, and TrolMaster for the amazing controller. Also, shout out to all of you in the growing community—you make this journey exciting and filled with endless learning. Let’s keep growing and sharing together! That’s it for the germination update! Next up, I’ll be monitoring growth closely to identify strong females (and maybe a standout male for breeding). 6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.
