🗓️ WEEK 4 (veg) ⚙️ In this final week of the vegetative stage, I increased the lamp’s intensity to 100% while positioning it 60 cm away from the plant. My thinking here is that starting next week, we're flipping to a 12/12 light cycle, and I'll let the plant grow closer to the light, down to about 35 cm, without needing to dim it further. I also added a coal filter, since it starts to feel some smells. 💧 I raised the EC to 1.2, and the plant appears to be thriving, consuming roughly 1.5 liters per day. The pH has consistently fluctuated between 5.8 and 6.0. On day 28, I drained the DWC reservoir and started a 24-hour flush using tap water EC 0.6 - pH 5.8. This prepares the plant for the new nutrient solution that will be introduced during the upcoming transition phase. 🌱 She's growing really bushy and is still compact. To conclude the week, I performed another light defoliation, removing some lower, older leaves. The new growth looks excellent – all leaves display a beautiful, healthy green color, showing no signs of deficiencies.

Day 35! One week from transplant and we started our first LST which was topping today. After topping we watered with recharge to help combat any of the stress woes.

Good evening to all grower :D!! Finally I sent these bad girls into bloom, I noticed a very strong elongation in all 3 plants, there are also some very small pistils!!

Ну вот и закончился наш короткий путь выращивания сатива-доминантного сорта. К сожалению, размер бокса не позволил полноценно включить лампу, так как растение сильно вытянулось и стало получать световые ожоги, плюс еще сыграл недостаток кальция. Изначально хотел 8 больших, толстых и симметричных колл, но пришлось гнуть дополнительно. На фотографии видно, что все ветки закручены по спирали - это пытался решить проблему сильно низкого освещения. Давно не растил сативный сорт и забыл, что в начале цветения растение ну очень сильно вытягивается. В итоге, из-за LST во время цветения, нижние этажи тоже вытянулись и вместо 8 колл получилось в 3 раза больше. Все-таки мне мой метод больше нравится, чем ML, так как времени уходить меньше, стресса меньше, а результат такой же. Снял 607 грамм больших веток и около 100 грам всякой мелочевки. Немножечко пересушил. Так бы вышло грамм 200 чистых шишек. Придется чуток их увлажнить. Вцелом очень доволен собой и результатом. Спасибо что заглянули и порадовались вместе со мной.

Week 11 for Moby Dick by fastbuds She's also starting to fill out quite nicely wayyyy too leafy for my liking. Also caught a little caterpillar munching on a bud today glad i found her before she gives me bud rot 😂 Quite surprising how little water these girls drink... still only got fed once this week with a bit of (WCA) Water Soluble Calcium & (FFJ) Fermented fruit juice for its last few weeks of life now. Got a few yellow leaves after feeding the WCA wonder if its related...

Welcome to week 5! Things are progressing along as some plants have started to display sex. I've removed some of the males that have shown themselves so far as we aren't looking to breed this run. Going to let them veg for this week and then I will be flipping the lights to get the flowering cycle started. Huge shout outs go to @MarsHydroLED for allowing me to grow with their kick ass gear! I fertilized once this week with I49 and top dressed with worm castings. No deficiencies so far 😊. Thankfully with all the rain we’ve had this month she doesn’t show any deficiencies or bud or root rot. I fertilized with I49 grow 1 tbsp/gal & 2 tbsp I49 Flower. With the extreme heat and rain, my auto Candy grew 2 more inches and is now 41 inches. Those inches are mostly buds puffing up with more hairs. Started a liquid supplement because my dry amendments aren’ didn’t activate my last grow. Maybe I didn’t mix them deep enough or keep the top layer wet enough but i know its the end of my first run & my girls have been STARVING . So even though I did top dress a few weeks ago I still started her on liquid amendments like my oldest girls & she’s handled all the feedings brilliantly. She has pre flower pistals showing but only sparsely so we’re still vegging out. She’s a beast & that’s an understatement. Definitely the biggest & most vigorous auto I’ve ever grown. Liquid amendments I’ve been feeding are still indeed organic so no worries.
