I germinated and collected two seeds in the same vase .... * Perhaps with a single seed I would have collected the same quantity, but it was worth trying and experimenting since I am contrary to trashing a seed already germinated! Full spectrum lighting from the top, the blue & red emitting from the "full spectrum" light only penetrates 1-2 layers of the leaf, the green wavelength will penetrate 4,5,6 layers, and the best ratio for flower growth is 1/2/1 R/B/G, and very little of the red and blue reaching lower parts of the plants or even the sides, flowers on lower parts of canopy receiving a majority of green will grow larf style buds, often lackluster, I supplement blue and red at the sides, I do not want to add more "full spectrum" this would double dose the green which penetrates deep. By the end of week, I'm looking at bud sites everywhere, the density is exceptional and above what i'm come to expect in week 1.5, it was the like plant skipped the stretch and went right to bud site production.

Week 9 is here and we are looking at harvesting! After checking the trichomes of just the top colas, I decided this week I was going to harvest. I am updating this post after I have dried and harvested the plant so do not have much more details. I flushed the plant this week with Flora Kleen along with terpinator and microbes. I cut down the plants and hung them up in the tent to dry using a clothes hanger with clips I got off of Amazon. It took 10 days to dry the bud and my temps and humidity would fluctuate throughout the day and night. I stayed in the mid to low 70s for temperature and humidity was at 50% at first. Then I added a humidifier and had it dry in 60% humidity. Will update the rest in the harvest update.

Gaia F1 is looking to be experiencing a bit of a growth spurt, which is nice to see! Hopefully, she will start progressing a little bit more next week. The leaves are a nice green colour looking very healthy, very pleased. I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 Here is what I did this week. 25.9.25: I watered with 2L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 Sea K PH: 6.5 PPM: 565 The fungus gnats have really increased since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm.
