Week 8

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we have lots of sunshine and temperatures in the mid 80's F. I watered today about 1.5-2 gallons per pot directly from the hose. Well water is 7.6 pH and about 50°F. #1 and #2 got topped today. #2 was topped in the evening at 6.30 p.m. I waited for it to get a little more space between the nodes, so there's a bit of stem above the node. This will help it to not split. Day 2 we had thunderstorms and rain in the morning followed by sunshine. The #3 plant was topped today. Day 3 we had lots of sunshine, temps in the mid 80's. That evening we had thunderstorms and rain which became severe that night. Hail was in the forecast but we missed it 🙏. I noticed the number 1 plant was growing crooked. I had moved the pots to get more sunlight and the one was uneven. I did some moving and adjusting today and hopefully it will straighten up. Day 4 we had rain in the morning followed by rain and thunderstorms intermittently into the night. Day 5 we had rains early morning and then cloudy most of the day. We have sunshine in the forecast for the weekend. 🙏🙏🙏 All pots were top dressed with 50ml of ferrous sulfate. Day 6 We had sunshine in the morning and afternoon. Clouds began to move in about 3.30p.m. Suddenly about 4:00 p.m. we had a severe thunderstorm that produced heavy rain and grape sized hail. Thankfully the hail only lasted a few minutes. There was some damage to this group, but only leaves. Day 7 we had sunshine, but cooler temperatures with highs reaching low to mid 70's. The plants began to show some Interveinal chlorosis in the new growth on day 5. I checked pH and it's above 7 in the pots. I added ferrous sulfate to counter this. On day 6 I noticed the #3 plant falling behind from receiving less direct sunlight. I've run out of space to accommodate the suns procession. I moved it to a better place for it to receive more sunlight. This week produced challenges. The topping was successful, but the position of the plants prevented some of them from receiving maximum direct sunlight. It took a few days to notice the affect on growth. We did not have much height gained this week. There was the issue with rising pH again, but this was promptly dealt with. We survived the challenging weather. Overall a successful week as lots of downward root growth was achieved. This will be evident next week as plants shoot up.

Hi all! Back at it!! Nice to see ya again! This time I changed a few things in the box. I'll be running one plants of two different strains instead of three plant of the same, so I raised the pot size to 15 liters / 4 gal airpots. And I'll give a try to a new nutrient solution! I'l be running the Bio Tabs line that I won a few month ago in the diary of the month contest (Thanks GD and Bio Tabs ;-) ). I have very high expectations so let's hope everything goes fine! I prepared the soil according to the Bio Tabs instructions. The rest is identical and I'll list the hardware here under. Also I'll try to be more regular and to update my diaries more often. Week 2 begins for Green Crack and LSD. Both ladies are looking happy and I increased their feed by 1 liter each. Thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽 tune in next week for another episode of growfessor theatre.

Week 1 - Day 1 20L Super Air Pots with a bottom layer of clay pebbles, (an inch deep at the centre point) and topped off with Growdog’s 70/30 coco perlite mix. The tops of the pots are covered by green plastic water distributers to evenly spread the water from the 12” watering rings. 2 lights; each 300W actual draw, currently inside the tent. 2 more coming next week to make a total of 4, across the 6 plants achieving a true watt draw of 1200W. Aiming for 1g/watt Germinated seeds from FAST BUDS, were planted and hand watered using tap water pH’d to high 5.8 to low 5.9 with H&G Roots Excl. giving a nice PPM of 362 to start. The BudBox tent is a 2x2x2m, using a Medusa Boosted XL run off trays to a waste brain were the run off can be tested. This will then be recirculated into the feeding tank again. The feed tank will a standard 100L water butt, retro fitting pumps inside for Feeding and Pump to waste - for cleaning the tank out each week. Another 100L water butt will contain a store of filtered RO water which will fill the feeding tank. A 10L PureMate humidifier is set at 65%, along with 2x RAM 16” oscillating wall fans which are mounted to the top of the tent for maximum coverage - set to lvl1 on swing giving the 25°C. No extraction yet. This is ready and waiting. 8” HyperFresh fan with a RHINO 8”x600 pro filter. We are using 8” acoustic ducting.✌️🏻 Week 1 - Day 2 No change. Keeping the new environment stable is difficult. The humidifier is not large enough for the space. Week 1 - Day 3 Fed PH RO water this morning. Trying to keep the humidity up inside the tent. They have popped up! It begins :D Did a feed of 5.8PH RO with CocaA&B 0.4ml/l, Roots excl 0.3ml/l, Calmag 0.2ml/l for a 150PPM. 300ml was used to moisten the coco per pot. Extraction fully connected. Environment stable at 23-24°C, trying to stay at 23.3°C. Humidity fluctuating 47-60%, humidifier struggling, but hopefully be okay. Week 1 - Day 4 All 6 are up and reaching. Husks hopefully will pop off soon. Will be doing another small feed this evening to keep the coco moist. Little leaves have appeared!! Fed another 300ml, 5.8PH @ 151PPM/ plant. Week 1 - Day 5 All shooting up now, tallest at 5cm down to 3.5cm 🌱 I gently helped the last 2 husks off the smallest ones to hopefully even them up. Gave the coco 1L of RO water around the edges. Week 1 - Day 6 Nothing to report this morning. Another PPM feed to be done shortly. Soaked the coco until run off with around 3-4L per pot using 5.8PH nuit water; 0.4 Canna A&B, 0.2 Calmag, 0.3 Roots Excl. 152PPM. First time we tested the Medusa brain - works well and pumps away to the feed tank, need to change one of the low trays to be a boosted tray for better drainage. Giving 5 boosted trays and one normal. Hand feeding up until this point, but will connect up the automation in the next week. Week 1 - Day 7 Strongest are growing around 1cm a day now. Tallest 6cm, smallest at 4cm. Looking forward to next weeks progress :) Bought a wet&dry vac - best thing ever!! Haha. Cleans everything in sight plus all the water from the dirty run off. Lifted all the pots, still a good weight to them so no feed or RO water today I think. Bring on week 2! 💪🏻

Got everyone in the greenhouse for the moment as I wait for a couple of the plants to catch up then off to plant them in the ground will be keeping a few back to flower inside the marshydro tent and light so we will get a good comparison out of the two

All has gone good this week topped #2, #3, #4 , for the 2nd time, continuing training.forming good flat canopy, switching them over to flower as it's the end of week

Tuesday Last week was a topping week and this week is a transition week as the 2 Grapefruit has been moved to the «flowering » tent which is equipped with the MarsHydro TSL 2000 that is pushing 300w of great 👍 light spectrum with a perfect mix between the différents colors in the spectrum. Just 2 days in the tent and they are already stretching so I feel like this time I’m about to defoliate some of the upper fan leaves 🍁 which is not my cup of tea so let’s see how I’m doing it. Will use the removed leaves to make a leaves tea , which is basically bunch oft leaves that I am leaving in the water for a week in a covered bucket , it’s a great foliar spray when it’s done & I will show you the final Ec after 7 days anse you may be surprised 😲 . Thursday The pictures are from Wednesday and the soil of the girl were fairly dry , the lower leaves started to fade-away. The feeding is still the same around 1.7ec and 5.8ph and around 3/4 times a week , I have some grow mates on GD who are keeping the coco constantly moist but I have some difficulty to do it so I’m using the old school wet/dry cycle of the medium. Btw I’ve changed my feeding for the GHE maxibloom because the PK ratio is higher so good for the flowering stage and still one part nuts + cal/mag Sunday I have found a nutrient tips , I can’t confirm that it’s a good one but it offer me an opportunity to be more lazy 😍 ... don’t worry be happy be lazy . So I discovered that when mixing 10g of Greenhouse Hybrids powder with 20ml of GHE cal/mag in 20L of tap water 💦 then adding some GHE Maxibloom until the Ec get to 1,7/2,8 was almost a Ph perfect formula as my mix ph is 5.9 😊 close from the 5.8 sweet spot SO now I’m gonna mix it like that all the time and check only the runoff PH . We are in the end of pre flowering and the girl will start the full flowering process soon enough but they will keep on stretching because of the MarsHydro Spectrum 😁 Thanks for following 😍

So tomorrow will be day 1 of week 6. I have been out of town and not able to care for the girls like I usually do. So my PPM went a little higher than I usually have it. As you can see I have some nute burn going on. I dropped it down now and hopefully it should be smooth sailing from here. Girls are putting on some weight but really don't think I'll pull more then 3 oz per plant. All the buds are rock hard but a bit small. I do think that the quality is going to be above average. They are starting to pack on the crystals and crazy sticky. The smell at this stage is extremely strong. I had to hook my charcoal filter. My entire house was ranked when I came home from my trip. All in all these girls have been pretty easy to grow with the exception of one of the banner phenotypes. She really doesn't seem to like the higher PPM levels. But I have 1 Reservoir feeding all of them so she just has to make do LOL.

ｆｒｏｓｔｅｄ　ｇｕａｖａ ❄️ 🌱 Anfang Woche 5/10 🌱 Die drei Frosted Guava legen weiterhin ordentlich an Wachstum zu und entwickeln sich genau in die Richtung, die ich mir vorgestellt habe. Mittlerweile ist die Lampe bereits auf die maximale Höhe eingestellt, da die Pflanzen den verfügbaren Platz immer mehr ausnutzen. Es macht einfach Spaß zu sehen, wie kräftig und gesund sie sich Woche für Woche weiterentwickeln. Langsam beginnt jetzt die spannende Phase des Grows: Die Blüte startet und die ersten weißen Blütenstempel zeigen sich an allen drei Pflanzen. Damit ist der Übergang von der Wachstumsphase in die Blüte offiziell eingeläutet. Ich bin gespannt, wie sie sich in den kommenden Wochen strecken und wie sich die Buds entwickeln werden. Auch das Klima spielt momentan wieder gut mit. Nachdem es zwischenzeitlich deutlich wärmer war, liegen die Temperaturen aktuell wieder bei etwa 20 bis 28 °C. Gerade für den Blütestart sind diese Bedingungen deutlich angenehmer, wodurch die Pflanzen hoffentlich ihr volles Potenzial ausschöpfen können. Diese Woche habe ich außerdem im unteren Bereich ein paar kleinere Triebe entfernt, die ohnehin kaum Licht bekommen hätten. Zusätzlich mussten einige große Blätter weichen, die andere Pflanzenteile unnötig beschattet haben. So kann das Licht besser bis in die unteren Bereiche gelangen und die Luftzirkulation wird ebenfalls verbessert. Ab sofort bekommen die drei außerdem den Blütedünger von Advanced Nutrients, um sie optimal durch die kommenden Wochen der Blüte zu begleiten. The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/3- Week Six is here and the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower by FastBuds is on a mission! Yesterday, I spread straw over the entire mound of soil and surrounding area to help keep the soil from drying out so fast and the watered with well water through a hose. 5/5- I'm noticing that something has taken a likening to the plant and is eating holes in her shade leaves. I went ahead and sprayed her down with Neem oil and will keep an eye out to try and determine what/who the culprit is. 5/7- Rain showers today handled the watering duties and all I did was to add some straw to a couple of bare spots on the mound. 5/9- I'm not seeing much in the way of any new damage to the leaves of the Wedding Cheesecake FF and I am continuing with the Neem oil preventative along with spreading some powdered cayenne pepper around the base of the plant to take care of any slugs that may think of trying a taste of cheesecake! There's another week gone by for this lady. The weather is getting better by the week and her growth is responding to it. The next weeks should be fun! Stay Blessed! Ok so had a bit of a bad week ph was way out causing problems at 6.4 so had to flush and get ph back to 5.8 also had big problems with high humidity like 80 90 % even when lights are off so I've decided I've upgraded to a 2.0 x 2.4 x 1.2 so hoping the more space and also upgrading to the black orchid 6 inch fan n filter along with the 4 inch fan and carbon filters plus clip on fans but big things to come I've also purchased a 4 pot auto pot system for the next grow so keep eye out guys
