So pleased with the growth, this week I put a net up to separate out the buds a bit and trimmed the plants to try and get more light to the lower buds. Instead of replacing the water, I'm now directly recycling and adding nutrients and additives. I found the easiest way was to pump the system out into another bucket so I could measure more accurately how much to add and then replace the mix back in the system. The grow room smells wonderful. I'm so looking forward to when I can try it.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. I think the first and last plants will be at least a week apart in harvest, perhaps 2 or 3. ### Week 7 Day 6 23:00 11/8 Fertigated 1.6l each The smell in the tent is there now, really not that strong but there are 6 plants motoring through flower here now so it's not insignificant either. Plant 3 is absolutely stacking now, she's more or less run out of space around her cola and is now growing some foxtail like structures, exciting! Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today. My math on the nutes had been off, so should start resolving this week. For this change, I used 2gl of RO water per plant and introduced some cal/mag to level things off. This is also the first week of using big bud and bud candy. I'll only use the big bud for this week since it's supposed to be for the first 4 weeks of flower and this is week 4. Trimmed off a few bad leaves (after the pics) but not all so the pants wouldn't stress. The system has been adjusted to keep temps below 80 and humidity under 45%.

Week7 of flower and she is stacking nice and getting thick. Buds are rock hard and coated in resin. Greasy feel that is stickier than anything I’ve ever grown. At least two more weeks maybe more as all her heads are crystal clear.

Week 5 and the plants are bursting out now. I am very pleased with the electroculture, seems like the bugs do not want to touch the plants.

Non ho aggiustato il pH (che nella mia zona è superiore al 7.5 per l'acqua di rubinetto) tanto non ci sono sali disciolti da assorbire. Tra pochi giorni ci sarà la raccolta, sarà un'impresa pulire tutte quelle cime... PS le foto scattate il giorno 66 sono state fatte con un altro telefono

Bueno ya llevan 1 semana con solo agua lavando raíces, corté 2 puntas se están secando, debido a que tenian mucha altura y estaban muy cerca del foco...en 5 días corto😜.

03/01 - Day 57 All the girls have their pistils changing colors, buds growing by the day, (B) has has very sweet aromas coming out, & (C) is more earthy and peppery. Still losing some fan leaves here and there on (A) & (D) from the Cal/Mag & Phosphorus defiance but nothing like 2 weeks ago. 03/05 - Day 61 Enjoying the process and maintaining the environment. Buds on (B), (C), & (D) are starting to get heavy. Maybe some foxtails starting on (C)??

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Such a great week! I’ve never seen such a fast growth before. Since they were ready the girls got transferred in their final pots, 5l pot + 2l extra from the self watering grow box. The soil is ca. 50% coco, 50% soil … well there’s probably about 15% perlite in there as well. They soil mix is amended with ca. 1,5g/l green house feed biogrow. Plus ca. 6g/pot Aktivator. And from now on they will stay in the greenhouse

Last week of the plant, she continued yellowing, weird week with huge variations of conditions when the sun hits directly, but generally cold temperatures are here, specially at night, and high humidity, we are having a rainy week, it rained every 2 or 3 hours... Planned to harvest, the later the better, but having in mind temperatures, humididty and sunlight, it will be when im stimating the best day, and finally it was October 18th. after 2 days plenty of sun, chopped the first of the bad days that were coming, in the morning ..
