During week 4 (=flowering week 2) the 18 CANNALOPE HAZE plants from DNA-GENETICS grew like hell and started to develop their first white hairs (=female pistils of the plant). The speed in which the little white crowns appear is astounding to me, I LOVE IT! The lamps are now hung at the producer recommended distance of 22 cm (=LUMATEK) and 45 cm (=SANlight) and both run at 100% power (=no more dimming for now!). The difference between the left side (=Lumatek) and right side (=SANlight) can be seen clearly in the videos. The plants on the right under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED-Lamps from SANlight have a darker, healthier green color and have produced VISIBLY MORE FLOWERS then the plants on the left side under the Lumatek PRO 600W. Lets see how this goes further next week...😎

Week 2 has gone just as well as I'd like it too! I had an accident during the week where I had dropped a sticky bug trap on one of my girls, this led to me accidentally ripping off a fan leaf and a half, but she seems to have come out of it just fine! (Thankfully). I have been feeding 1/3 strength nutes the past few feeds, stepping it up from 1/4. I will be watering until I see runoff from now on to prevent nutrients from building up in the coco. Update(day 15, 4/12/20) Today I purchased a new oscillating fan, co2 bags and a new hygrometer that hooks up to my phone and shows me stats. The girls have been putting in a lot of work over the past 24 hours. I also had a Purple Punch photo seed sprout today which I may be turning into a mother plant. I will be starting a diary for this girl too. Update (Day 16 5/12/20) Second purple punch photo popped today, going to keep 1 inside and give the other to my mom to take care of. The girls got their first 1/4 dose of calmag today fed at 6ph due to all the nutrients settling there.( I do have ph +/- but I'm going to try run this whole grow at 5.8-6.2. Update (Day 17 6/12/20) Plants seem happy today. Fan leaves producing a the pre-existing nodes are starting to shoot out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, my streets power went out today for ~90 minutes, I opened the tent, windows and doors to get any light in I could, thankfully the power came back on shortly after. I fed the girls today with very little run-off(I'm trying to perfect the amount of water they need). Update (Day 18 7/12/20) The girls have jumped up over night! I wont be feeding today as I'd like the coco to dry out quite a bit more. Update (Day 19 8/12/20 Gave the girls a small feed today with very little run-off Everything seems to be going well so far, I'm very thankful! Update (day 20 9/12/20) Everything is going pretty well today. I will not be feeding as the increased humidity has kept the coco more moist than usual. Will be feeding full strength nutes tomorrow! After camping, they survived the summer heatwave and look pretty good. The stench in the tent is not like your typical Northern Lights or White Widow. It's straight-up funk that hits you in the back of your throat. I can't really pinpoint any specific scents but it's a very rich and pungent odor for sure. I’m 100% confident the roots are probably degrading with rot after the warm temps. The only problem I had while away is was the AC fills into a 5gallon bucket and it couldn’t keep up with demand about an hour before I got home. After a quick cleanup, I took a closer look and I’m happy with trichomes on both plants. This was supposed to be a 65-75 day fast finisher. Today is day 91. I’m satisfied. I consumed a test bud on weekend that went under a 3 day dry. White ash, no harshness, and punchy in regards to the effects. Chopping them tomorrow.

Bud sites are starting to look real nice now, I'm thinking the main stretching has already happened but I'm still expecting her to get a bit taller.

I wish I had more to say but these ladies are just happily chugging along! My humidity is either spiking or that probe is having... ? complications. I'll open up the windows to dry it out down there, it's not crazy to think the sub-irrigation and high transpiration of flowering is dumping water into their lung room. 🤔🤔 Also it was raining and snowing the last two days, so maybe a de-humidifier will have to get budgeted 🤓 I've never had mold issues and I don't want i start! Day 127. Chop day !!! Think two weeks would be perfect for them to finish up, but 17 autos waiting in veg/dry room and I go for holidays, nobody will invest time like me, so simple watering left for Auto grow without training, my friend will cover this easy task for me. Happy Growing !!!

It has been a great week of growth and no further accidental toppings - first pistils beginning to show at the end of the week. Tops are looking good, forming shape across the net. Stretched branches are being tucked under one square across every 3-4 days. The net is filling up nicely, with some limited pruning below the canopy of both leaves and growth stems. I'm trying to avoid any defoliation on this grow. Fertigating with an inflow EC of >1.4 seems to be moving the run-off EC higher - will maintain higher inflow EC until run-off is within acceptable range. Run-off EC Should be within 300 Points of Inflow EC. Run-off EC still remains below target although now increasing to where it should be. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC.
