This is an easy strain to grow. I didn't have to use any LST. I am just waiting on some amber trichomes and I will chop.

10 weeks / 70 days old today. Buds are all a bit fatter and a bit frostier this week! They glisten in the light and and are well and truly coated. Noticed a few leaves with brown spots this week and after reading up I decided it could be a calcium deficiency. Gave a cal mag feed and monitored and no more brown spots have appeared. We’re pretty close to the finish line now so not sure I’ve done the right thing or whether I should just let it be. Few more old leaves at the bottom started to yellow so chopped them. Some trichomes are starting to turn milky but majority are still clear. Haven’t bothered with a picture because it’s so hard to get a clear one. Still taking up lots of water and giving 3ml of bloom nutrients in every water. Been reading lots about flushing and I’m not sure whether to do it. Read lots that say if it’s cured properly then there isn’t any difference to the taste. I think half the battle is knowing when to do it. How does a beginner know when you’ve got 2 weeks left?! Been tempted to chop off the popcorn buds and so glad I didn’t. I put some bulbs lower down to give them plenty of light and they’re fattening up pretty well. Bit worried again about the space issue. Lots of new pistils have sprouted and most are around the top buds. Read that it could be foxtailing due to light stress but could also just be buds fattening out and having a last try at pollinating šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø who knows! Overall another exciting week getting closer to the finish. Booked our summer holiday for August and trying to decide whether to start a new grow when these finish. there’s a risk they might not be done in time but I’m desperate to try again and improve on this one. I have well and truly got the grow bug!!

Welcome to Week 16, where our Lego Ninja Tropical Tangie is truly proving her resilience. Despite some hot temperatures, she's standing tall like a champion, although her leaves have seen a bit of scorching. But, what's truly mesmerizing is her incredible fruit development. These beauties are laden with trichomes, glistening like stars in the night sky. They are a testament to her excellent genetics and your dedicated care. In terms of adjustments, I've made a wise decision to stop the extra phosphorus (P) and instead introduced Aptus Fluvic Blast to my feeding regimen. This change isn't just about her current growth, it's also about planning for the future. The Fluvic Blast enriches the soil and enhances its microbial activity, which will be invaluable when you decide to reuse this soil in the future. It's all about long-term sustainability and health. As always, the sharing of medicine continues. It's a bond that grows stronger with each passing week, connecting not only you and your Tangie but also your ever-watchful guardians, the Lego Ninjas. A special shout-out to Dutch Passion for these fantastic genetics, Aptus Holland for their unwavering support, and Grow Diaries for providing the platform that allows you to share this incredible journey with the community. Week 16 has been a testament to the rewards of perseverance and patience. As we look ahead, the promise of more trichome-covered buds and the continued growth of your girls and guardians is an exciting prospect. Stay tuned for Week 17, as we delve even deeper into this remarkable journey. Until next time, fellow gardeners and enthusiasts! #TropicalTangie #Week16 #Resilience #TrichomeMagic #AptusHolland #DutchPassion #LegoNinjas #GrowDiariesCommunity" As always thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all , this journey of mine wold just not be the same without you guys, the love and support is very much appreciated and i fell honored and blessed with you all in my life<3 <3 <3 #aptus #aptusplanttech #aptusgang #aptusfamily #aptustrueplantscience #inbalancewithnature #trueplantscience With true love comes happiness <3 <3 <3 Always believe in your self and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart , be a giver and the universe will give back to you in ways you could not even imagine so <3 <3 <3 Friendly reminder all you see here is pure research and for educational purposes only <3 <3 <3 Growers Love To you All <3 <3 <3 P.S- I must extend my sincerest apologies for the missing video reports. Regrettably, Grow Diaries is still facing some technical issues that are preventing me from uploading them. Rest assured, as soon as the situation is resolved, I'll share those videos to give you an even closer look at this fascinating journey.

Cosmic Noodles — Week 4 Report (Draft Framework) 1. Week 4 Context (12/12 Cycle) • Plants are now well established structurally. • Stretch is active but controlled. • Environment remains stable and unchanged, which is clearly paying off. āø» 2. Training Progression (End of Week 3 → Week 4) End of Last Week • Introduced gentle lateral bending using light wire. • Goal: break apical dominance early without inducing stress. • Response: immediate redirection of growth, no negative reactions observed. This Week (Week 4) • Introduced metal clamps to reinforce and stabilize bends. • Purpose: • Hold branches closer to horizontal / toward the floor • Encourage more even stretch and node activation • Maintain structure without repeated manual adjustment • Training intensity remains controlled and intentional, not aggressive. šŸ‘‰ Important note for education: This is guidance, not force. Plants are being shown where to grow, not pushed. āø» 3. Plant Response & Vigor • Overall health: Exceptional • Lush green coloration • Fast growth rate • No stress markers (no clawing, no discoloration, no leaf deformation) • Training response: • Trained plants are accelerating growth and showing earlier developmental cues. • Untrained / lightly trained plants remain relaxed and expressive. • Leaf management: • Only gentle leaf tucking • No defoliation at this stage • Inner node spacing remains excellent, so intervention is unnecessary. āø» 4. Pre-Flower Observations (Very Important) • The plant grown in the plastic recipient pot, which experienced: • A different early light behavior • Slight vegetative overlap • More active training āž”ļø Is showing early pre-flower signs. This is not surprising and is actually educationally valuable: • Training + structural stress (positive stress) often accelerates maturity signals. • Slight differences in early light exposure can shift hormonal timing. Meanwhile: • 12/12 from seed plants • Still in a clean transitional phase • No visible pre-flower yet • Strong branching (notably under ~6 nodes with good lateral expression) • Internodal spacing is ideal • Development is uniform and calm This staggered response is normal and healthy, not a concern. āø» 5. Nutrition & Environment (Week 4) • Nutrition: • Same recipe • Same measurements • No changes introduced • Plants are responding beautifully, so stability is prioritized. • Flower nutrition: • Not yet introduced. • Decision point clearly defined: • Full transition only once the entire room enters pre-flower / flower. • If a few plants advance earlier, a localized, light flower feed patch may be applied — cautiously and intentionally. This shows discipline, which is what separates dialed grows from reactive ones. • Room temperatures: • Stable • Supporting vigorous metabolism without stress • No signs of heat or cold response in leaf posture āø» 6. Grower Philosophy (This Week’s Key Message) ā€œEverything is the same because everything is working.ā€ This is one of the strongest educational points you can make: • No chasing symptoms • No premature feeding changes • Letting genetics + environment express naturally āø» 7. Outlook for Week 5 • Expect wider pre-flower expression across the room. • Training effects will become more visible in canopy distribution. • Nutrition transition will be timed, not rushed. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. šŸ’š Growers love to all šŸ’š šŸ“ø P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Hello Diary, Cherry Pie has completed its second week of vegetation. It has grown 10 cm this week which is great and has started to form places where the flowers will appear. Sometimes it's surprising how quickly plants develop and grow if they have good conditions. Since it's the middle of summer, the temperatures are still high, but for now I don't see that it doesn't suit them. Sometimes it is over 31 degrees in the grow box. I make sure that the soil does not dry out, so I increased the amount of water when watering. I continue to add Bio Grow Fertilisier and CalMg with each watering. pH I drop to 6.0 with Plagron's Lemon Kick. At the end of the week, more precisely after taking photos for day 14., I increased the power of the led lights to 60%. Here is a quick overview of the week: 04/08/2024 - Day 11. Watering. I prepared 6 liters of water, added the previously mentioned nutrients and with that amount I evenly watered all three plants on the farm. 07/08/2024 - Day 14. After taking the photos, I watered all three plants on the farm in the same way as three days earlier. Cherry Pie - Day 14. - 17 cm That's all from me for this week, see you soon.

Harvest day! This is my first autoflower ever and after 66 days this is what I got. Now it's hanging to dry for a dry trim. Definitely not the best, but feeling happy with the outcome. Even with some major feeding mistakes, I managed to finish her. Learned so much. I will update with the final weight and a strain review!

Flipped these girls to flower on day 26. Most of them have been looking good and growing pretty fast. I topped off the reservoir and added a little maxibloom. All 8 plants are drinking a total of about 2 gallons of water per day now. I kinda slacked on training them this week, but I will try to get them spread out some over the next week. I have been pulling a few fan leaves from the bottom so they can get good air circulation.
