The SWAMPMONSTER ran out of juice so no SMART PROTEINS for these this week, but holly smokes looks like that swamp thing potion does lasting work on the plants : they're just popping the f off ! faster than any auto i've ever grown, and i'm grow diaries native so you can see all my other grows ever lol anyway, as you can see these have started developing side shoots and it's week 3 . Never seen a plant like this in my life, well dont be surprised it's my first photo , so yeah, just glad a found a way around that longish veg for a photo ! these are 3 weeks in, maybe they've got a couple more weeks of veg in them tops , some will stay vegged for the rotation, any questions welcome ! in case you were wondering it's just plain water until i get more juice maybe some more beneficials but that's just about it that's planned ! 🚀

This was day after transplant. They immediately started loving it outside. I gave the blood diamond OG to my neighbor for his yard, just to keep the count legal. The lilac autoflower was showing signs of mutations early, I'm interested to see what it ends up looking like. The mutation appears to be fasciation. I've upload a video of it, the upper main stem looks like it's 3 stems wide & semi flat. Gonna let it keep riding the wave lol The garlic fever is having a great time in the sunshine, it's bigger than all the other plants.

The grow was very simple, a very tight bushy structure but ended up being a perfect circle, 8 beautiful tops. I did a combination of topping and my own version of mainlining. I would recommend using half dose of nutrients in veg, a very delicate plant when it comes to toxicity, until flower then it's just nitrogen toxicity to worry about. Recommend 10 weeks of flower, for around 80% cloudy trichomes. The bulk in the buds didn't really kick in till after week 8, but at right around week 4 that smell 🍋 will kick in and take over your nose anytime your around it. Very recommended top notch smoke 💨🔥🤑💯

She's had nothing but water for just over a week. She is starting to fade and is covered in trichomes. I've taken a little sample to try soon. Her trichomes are almost 50 50 white and clear with the odd Amber. I think she will be harvested in the next 3 to 5 days 🤞

Day 21 Veg today and all 4 ladies are looking mad for it !! All vibrant and green with plenty of strength in their stems. #1 has been trained this past week by pulling her 5th node over horizontal and keeping it held down by moving the peg along each day. Ideally it will need to be kept lower than the developing nodes from 2,3,and 4 which will be evened out as they progress to be the tops. This will avoid the topping and possible recovery time and also keeps the main intended stem. 7 healthy long thick colas is the intended aim using l.s.t and any other means necessary to get the best I can from this vigorous girl. #2 and # 3 are n on par with each other amd just about hitting their 5th nodes. I am going to try topping 1 and doing the same as #1 to the other. #4 has got more size to her now but looks a way behind her sisters. hopefully she will catch up when she sees the attention her l.s.t siblings are getting.lol So far an impressive few weeks for these genetics. So glad I have another few strains of the exotic auto range to play with too. Happy days. Until next time. be safe and well DAY 23 UPDATE I decided to F.i.m the #2 and #3 girls today so took some pics of their braveness. The #1 has been pulled further down and has a lot of willing competitors for main stems. #4 is still way too small to upset yet and may be left with no cuts and just some supercropping ( auto style). Be interesting to see the Fimming results when done too. F.i.m = Bro science term coined from missed attempts at a straight topping of the maiming stem. "Fuck . I .missed" became the term for this method that can produce some really huge tops of multiple heads if caught at the sweet spot of the node lets see what we get.

Humidity was 25-35% so the buds were smaller than they could have been but that’s winter for ya. Other than that the plants is amazing. Grew very fast in veg and the buds smell fruity/ oranges. Great sativa high that feels relaxing and stoney. Pretty powerful.

Moving into Week 6, and I have to admit, the weather has not been on our side. We saw very little sun this week, and for two nights, the temperatures actually dropped below that dreaded 10°C mark. Despite the chilly nights and lack of rays, the girls powered through and developed pretty well all things considered. They are definitely proving their resilience! Training: 🌿 I kept things mostly hands-off this week. For the plants undergoing LST, I only made some very light adjustments to maintain the canopy structure, but otherwise, I stepped back and let them focus their energy on flowering. Feeding Strategy – The Bloom Push: Since the flowering phase is well underway, it was time to update the menu and give them the fuel they need to build those buds. I've added CalMag to the tap water for all four plants, but the main meals have officially diverged for the bloom stretch: Team Organic: Banana Purple Punch and Amnesia Haze received their very first dose of BioBizz Bio Bloom. The slow-release EPN fertilizer did its job perfectly through veg, but now it's time for that organic bloom boost. Team Mineral: Lemon Cherry Cookies and Bruce Banner have successfully transitioned to the Hesi Bloom fertilizer to push flower production. Current Standings: 📏 Lemon Cherry Cookies: Still ruling the roost and reaching for the sky at 69cm. Bruce Banner: Stretching out nicely and currently sitting at 48cm. Amnesia Haze & Banana Purple Punch: Holding steady right around the 40cm mark. The LST is keeping them nice and compact while they focus on bud development. Let's hope Mother Nature finally decides to bring the heat and consistent sunshine back so these ladies can really start stacking up those flowers.

🌱 Folder 10B | Guava Auto Week 2 – The Elegant Sister Begins to Stretch Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure, where every phenotype receives its own individual diary, allowing us to appreciate the subtle differences that make each plant unique. Meet Frosted Guava Auto 10B. Although she shares exactly the same genetics, growing medium, feeding schedule and environmental conditions as her sister, she has already chosen her own path. Where Plant A remained exceptionally compact, Plant B immediately showed a little more ambition toward vertical growth. Not excessive. Not uncontrolled. Simply a slightly more open architecture that gives her a graceful appearance while still maintaining excellent structural balance. This is exactly why pheno hunting is so rewarding. Even sisters have their own personalities. ⸻ 🌿 Growing Conditions Every plant in this project grows under identical controlled conditions, allowing the genetics—not environmental differences—to shape each phenotype. Environmental Conditions * 🌡️ Day Temperature: 27°C * 🌙 Night Temperature: 25°C * 💧 Relative Humidity: 55% * 🌱 Root Zone Temperature: 21°C * 💦 Nutrient Solution Temperature: 20°C * ⚡ EC: 1.3 * pH: 6.0 * 💨 CO₂: 666 ppm * 💡 Light Schedule: 12/12 From Seed * ? Pot Size: 15 Litres The consistency inside the grow room continues to provide an ideal environment for comparing every individual phenotype fairly throughout the entire project. ⸻ 🌿 Feeding Program Throughout the week Guava Auto 10B continued receiving the complete Plagron Terra feeding schedule. Weekly Feeding * Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L * Power Roots — 1 ml/L * Pure Zym — 1 ml/L * Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L * pH Plus — when required * Lemon Kick — when required The goal remains to encourage strong root development while supporting healthy vegetative growth before flowering begins to accelerate. Healthy roots today become heavy flowers tomorrow. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Development Watching these two sisters side by side has been one of the highlights of this week. From the first few days after transplant it became obvious that Plant B was expressing a different growth pattern. Her internodal spacing is just a little wider. The central stem continues extending steadily while producing beautifully symmetrical branches from every node. She still remains compact compared with many autoflowers, but there is a noticeable elegance to her overall structure. Rather than forming one dense cluster of leaves, she naturally creates a slightly more open canopy that allows light to penetrate deeper into the plant. The result is a structure that feels balanced, relaxed and incredibly healthy. Every photograph taken this week reflects that quiet confidence. ⸻ 🌿 Training Progress As with her sister, this week focused on gentle canopy management rather than aggressive manipulation. Leaf tucking became part of the daily routine, exposing developing secondary branches and improving airflow throughout the centre of the plant. A small amount of low-stress training encouraged the side branches to begin catching up with the main stem while preserving the plant’s naturally elegant architecture. One thing quickly became apparent. This phenotype almost seems to cooperate with the training. She opens naturally. She responds quickly. She seems eager to build multiple flowering sites without needing much encouragement. Sometimes a plant simply tells you how she wants to grow. The best growers know when to listen. ⸻ 📸 Behind This Week’s Photos The photographs beautifully capture the difference between the two Guava sisters. Early in the week, the camera highlights a strong central leader with perfectly healthy new growth and vibrant colour. As the days pass, the overhead images reveal a wonderfully symmetrical arrangement of fan leaves, creating an almost star-shaped canopy. The close-up macro shots show vigorous new shoots emerging confidently from each node, while the side profile demonstrates her slightly taller, more graceful posture compared with Plant A. She isn’t trying to become oversized. She’s simply expressing a little more vertical elegance while maintaining excellent balance. The camera tells that story perfectly. ⸻ 🌱 Looking Ahead Next week should become particularly interesting. With every new node, Plant B is creating more opportunities for lateral branching while continuing her gentle upward growth. As low-stress training progresses, I expect those side branches to begin forming a beautifully even canopy capable of supporting numerous flowering sites. Her slightly longer internodes may ultimately provide excellent light penetration during flower, reducing congestion while still maintaining impressive bud density. She may not look identical to her sister. But that’s exactly what makes her special. Two sisters. Two personalities. One incredible genetic line. ⸻ 💚 Thank You Thank you for joining me for another chapter of this incredible journey. Every week reminds me that growing isn’t about creating identical plants—it’s about discovering the unique personality hidden inside every single seed. A heartfelt thank you to GrowDiaries for giving growers around the world a place to document, learn, inspire and celebrate this incredible hobby together. A huge thank you to Plagron for providing the complete Terra nutrient line that continues to support this project with remarkable consistency from seed to harvest. To the breeders whose dedication makes these genetic expressions possible—thank you for years of passion and hard work. Every phenotype tells its own story, and it’s a privilege to watch those stories unfold. Finally, thank you to everyone following along. The growers who share advice. The newcomers asking their first questions. The supporters who never miss an update. The skeptics who keep us thinking. The silent readers. The friends made along the way. Every one of you adds something valuable to this adventure. The 8×8 Adventure continues… One phenotype. One lesson. One discovery at a time. Growers Love 🌱💚

******** Week 3 of flower, Week 12 growth - Oct 3 to 9/20 *********** It has been less exciting this week with respect to new issues👍😃 GG4 has reacted very well to the stem cracking but just leaving the area alone at the same time. Really impressed with how the colas have been stacking. They are done their stretch now and will work on getting thicker🤞💪👍 Leaves are getting a little darker for my liking this week. It is one of the things I have often struggled with using AN Sensi Grow and Bloom base nutes.,,,,,,keeping the feeding at 1ml.L to maybe 1.5ml at max.....stopped using their CalMag Basie of nitrogen levels as well. Not sure where else to go and will just give her some time for now and stay the course and see what the next two weeks bring.......keep up, increase, the plain water feedings. GG4 should have some nice size colas. At three weeks her tops are the size of a BIC lighter.......with 6 more weeks of swelling to go.....keeps you smiling😃💪🤞 Little more detail........ Oct 3/20, Day 15 - 4L - 450ppm and 5.7pH Oct 4/20, Day 16 - 4L - 1025ppm and 5.8pH Oct 5/20, Day 17 - 3L - 100ppm and 5.9pH Oct 7/20, Day 19 - 4L - 1025ppm and 5.9pH Oct 9/20, Day 21 - 3L - 500ppm and 5.9pH Sweet Seeds has a really nice cross in this strain👍😎 Great work Guys!!! Working on the update for the week.........
