1/14: This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. I'm seeing calcium and magnesium deficiences here and there, so added some boomerang and heavy cal-mag-Fe along with liquid molasses, humic acid, and endoboost myco. This week I decided they deserved better. Added some red/blue LEDs that are low output, 12 on 12 off, 29.99 Chinese, designed for house plants. Even upgraded the pot to a 11 litre Grownest.

Diese Woche verlief ohne weitere Probleme. Alles entwickelt sich wie geplant. Die Thripse sind nach der Neemöl-Behandlung nicht mehr zu sehen – scheint gut gewirkt zu haben. Zur Sicherheit habe ich noch AC-Raubmilben ausgebracht, um eventuelle Nachzügler unter Kontrolle zu halten. Außerdem wurden ein paar Blätter entfernt, um die Luftzirkulation zu verbessern und mögliche Verstecke für Schädlinge zu minimieren. Die Pflanzen sehen gesund aus und wachsen kräftig weiter.

BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. For my first experience using salt type nutrient, everything seems to be going well. No deficiencies and no signs of stress. Mixing is super easy and everything dissolves 100%. My lights were gradually raised by 5-10% every day until 100%. Beginning the week PPFD was almost 1000, now it is almost 1500 PPFD. To supplement all of the light these plants will get, high doses of CO2 are given during daylight hours. The room stays at 1500ppm at a minimum. By weeks end everything under the net will be stripped and the canopy thinned of all large fan leaves. One big stressful event, so the rest of flower the plants can be left alone to bloom. It’s best to do it once IMO. I believe things are right on track. Calyxes are already starting to form on all of the plants and things will only get better from here. The swelling has just kinda started the smell is still kinda weak but I think I’ll be hooking up the carbon filter this week. StrawberryNCream and Gorilla Zkittles definitely my favorite so far the colas are huge and frosty. Can’t wait to see what they turn into come week 8+

Day 45: just a quick vid. Been busy soz for posting so little. Day 46: Buds are densing up and mutant is doing mutant things. Lightburn is an issue Day 47: today i tried to fix the mutant problem. Its growing wayy to big for my small 180cm tall tent. Broke one of my light hangers when i tried to tighten it😑 also did some lst but i think the battle might be Lost on this one. Any advice is taken! Other than that, #1 n #2 are doing pretty well. Buds are densing but not at the rate i would want. Might be Bcos my light only draws 200w from wall. Day 48: these ladies are getting frosty swear to god if my light doesnt pull enough watts to dense the nugs, im callbombing spiderfarm till i get new light🌚

23.08 The Drainmaster moved into the tent to control the drain. Defoliated and lollipopped them. 25.08 First run with the drain system. Nutrient Solution (Tank): Volume: 8.5 L EC: 3.05 pH: 5.5 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom + CalMag Irrigation Run: Pump time: 30 minutes Total Drain: 5.0 L (≈ 60%) Drain EC: 2.6 Drain pH: 6.0 🔎 Observations Drain volume was far too high (target is ~20%). Drain EC lower than input EC → medium was relatively “empty”, plants absorbed nutrients quickly. pH drift from 5.5 → 6.0 shows some buffering effect left in the reused substrate, but limited. Substrate behaves more like coco than soil now (low buffer, fast response). 💡 Insight / Lesson Learned 30 minutes pump time is way too long → resulted in 60% runoff instead of 20%. For 8 × 1 L pots, a single irrigation event should be ~1.0–1.2 L total, with ~200–250 ml runoff. Solution: shorten pump time to ~5 minutes and re-test runoff. Better approach: run shorter, more frequent irrigations (daily) with a lower EC (2.0–2.2), instead of heavy feedings (EC 3.0) only 3× per week. This will keep EC more stable in the root zone and prevent salt buildup in the tiny 1 L pots. 27.08 Adjusted the pump timer to 5 minutes, gave the first dose of PK13/14.

Another week down and we are getting some color on the right plant. I'm not sure I've caught it on timelapse before but if you look close around the 10 second mark in the video you can start to see the purple appear on the leaves in the center a bit. It's subtle in the video but it really shows up in the pictures. I do like it when they turn colors! Aside from the color it was a fairly uneventful week. Buds are filling in a bit more, fun fun. The smell of a strong pineapple is in the air around the plant and especially when you touch it.

Ich bin der Meinung das Bilder mehr als 1000 Worte sagen. Ich hab sie in den letzten Tagen ordentlich gespült und dann dunkel gestellt. Heute also am Ende der 12. Woche habe ich sie letztendlich geerntet. Die trichome waren alle milchig bis bärnstein Farbend. Ich lasse sie jetzt eine Woche mit eingeschalteter Abluft troknen.
