Our Rainbow Sherbet has started to flower, the main lining here worked really well. Unlike the other plants I cut at the second internode to create the mainfold. This is a smart choice because autoflowering plants flower more or less at the 5th / 6th internode, if you have to do topping it is better to start as soon as possible to delay flowering as much as possible. Another reason for topping / mainfold at the second internode is that the plant is lower and you can work the mini brunches much better. In fact here we managed to create a T-minlining. In the sense that the mini brunches form a perfect 90 degree T with the main stem which is not easy at all. To do this you have to use the arches with the wire it is much more complicated and the cut at the second internode helps a lot. So topping at the second internode, mainfold and then continue for another three internodes and topping again. You can decide to cut something along the way I left perhaps too much stuff here. However, for better or worse, everything that can see a fair amount of light enough to flower well is left. The plant is a specimen with a medium internodal distance and I managed to work it reasonably well. We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start card that maintains the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer now is Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a little swollen, do not start immediately. I have had to bend over quite a few far reaching branches with this sativa girl. It's funny, I used to worry about bending and breaking a branch. 8/23 they just keep stacking Jesus chroist. 8/24 sensizym, budcandy, microbes feed. Kiyomi ecs are way high at 7 in the res. I diluted the res half way with tap and the chocs are still eating big time they're at 3.5ec or so. Think I'll just cut feed to the kiyomi at this point. 8/27 been feeding an ph perfect at .8 ec, got everyone down to around 3.0. I think I'll continue with this feed and observe runoff. Once I get around 2 I may give another salt feed depending on what week I'm at. I don't think the kiyomi is going to need another.

Week 4 - This week, more plants are fertilized to 650 ppm.A survey found that one tree had abnormal leaves.

Thanks for swinging by and checking out the grow so far! So this week we are switching to flowering and taking a flood cycle out of the feeding schedule. The hydro plants are catching up to the soil plants and the tent is really starting to fill out ! Me and my partner have been keeping up on the training and were very happy with the results. I think we achieved the canopy look we were shooting for, so time to flower !! Were still following the floral series feeding scheduled within reason. The soil plants still have a little burn on the tips but we were overfeeding them, newbie mistake, but were flushing them with fresh water to give them a break. We cant wait to see the what happened in the weeks to come. Waiting to see what kind of stretch we get from them. EDIT:: mid week. The plants still have a great growth rate and are noticeably different every day. We went ahead and pulled them out of the buckets and gave them a good trimming before they get through the net. LST is paying off, we have a bunch of top growth so hopefully we get the sea of green look were going for.

Hi 420 Family. Start of week 6, and we are well into the blooming stage. So far so good, these ladies have gained a lot of growth over the past 2 weeks, they have stretched a lot and have now shifted their energy into making buds. The one WW is a little ahead of the rest in maturity it seems, the other two WW's not far behind. PL's I think will flower for an extra week or two looking at the bud sites and the pistils. At this stage they are getting about 1L of bloom feed every 1.5 days but it does seem to pick up and they are getting more thirsty every watering. I guess they will eventually settle on about 1L per day. D36 - 11 Aug - All good and no complaints, other than the stretchy PL's. Let's hope they just make for awesome bud sites. D38 - 13 Aug - Steady as it goes... Bud sites are forming nicely and I have not again spotted any sacks on the WW that initial had about 6/8 sacks on the oldest branches, nodes closest to the main stem. Very happy that I didn't kill her; I am still keeping a close eye tho. The PL's have again stretched a little bit but not as much as last week, thank goodness. They were watered yesterday morning and will be letting them dry out properly before giving them another feeding. Still in the HPS tent but now they are under the LED again and doing pretty well as the roots are filling the pots out they are eating faster. Did a couple foliar feeds with the Growzyme at less than 1 ML/Gal which they seem to like. Hoping to get a little more vertical growth before they kick into flower. Also been doing some bottom feeding which I have been experimenting with a little bit. It seems to increase rate of growth and the plants seem a little happier when I do a few feeds like that in a row. Still fighting with the Air Humidity. bud development is going very slowly

Looking at the canopy now, it really feels like everything came together at the right time. The two Northern Lights are stacking thick, frosty colas with that classic dense structure, while the Critical is entering her final phase, fading from green into those lime-yellow tones as she pulls the last energy from her leaves. The buds are fully formed and swelling hard. Everywhere you look, it’s just resin, a proper blanket of trichomes covering the flowers and sugar leaves. Under closer inspection, most trichomes are cloudy now, with the first ambers starting to show, especially on the edges. Pistils are turning orange and curling inward, another clear sign that the finish line is close. The differences between the strains really stand out at this point. The Northern Lights plants are darker, more compact, and absolutely dripping in frost, while the Critical leans lighter in color with a more pronounced fade and slightly airier, but still chunky buds. Together, they fill the tent with a balanced, even canopy — every top sitting right in the sweet spot under the light. We’re officially inside the harvest window now. From what I’m seeing, I’d estimate about 7–12 days left. It’s one of those moments where patience really matters. Chopping earlier would keep things a bit more uplifting, but giving them a few more days will push more amber trichomes and deepen the effect. Right now, they’re close — but not quite at their absolute peak. I’m letting them ride just a little longer to fully mature and finish strong. Overall, this run has been alright. The environment stayed dialed in, the plants responded well, and now they’re rewarding that with proper, high-quality flowers. Stats so far: 💧 Watering: Every third day 🌡️ Temp: 26–28°C 💦 Humidity: 65% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.18 kPa 💡 Light: ~700 PPFD

Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.
