The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. She suffered a serious overfertilization in the last two weeks. I thought it was a deficiency and added more nutrients, which made everything worse. The overfertilization happened because I wasn't doing a runoff, only once a week. And also a super concentrated dose. I did a flush at the beginning of the week, and the water came out almost black. She's recovering well, flowering and developing new, beautiful green leaves and flowers. She still has about 30 days to get rid of this toxicity, I hope everything goes well.

3 November Sunset Sherbet Well by the week this cupboard is just getting smellier, danker and bushier.
Vey good I’d say, most of all the branches had reached the scrog net and most of the branches has already been threaded through to maintain the same height. While flipping to flower I noticed that the Sunset-Sherbet is making a lot more pistols due to this but not as fast as the Do-Si-Wine plant is making pistols. ( biggest leaf 17cm 😵 ) Do-Si-Wine This lady while growing vigorously to the top has thin stems which it makes more prone to bending / snapping but luckily haven’t had that problem het of a side branch bending while threading it through the scrog, but I did notice that the branches are a bit more fragile. This lady is making pistols like no tomorrow, every cola / node I can see is making pistols and this lady just wants to go full throttle. On the site it said that this is moderate growth difficulty and yes it is, thin branches, fragile and long lengthy branches. ( biggest leaf 14 cm )

"Chugging" along this week. Weather is hot, girls are loving the all time drip system. Forgot that my nutes and hot sun dont mix well and created a bad case of algae. Will monitor more often and maybe increase the drip flow

This week I top all 8 Green Poison ( 4dwc and 4 coco ) clones. They look healthy and happy and few days later I already start to low stress training (LST) them.

It is day 30 and we are finally seeing some growth starting after a few days of being locked out due to what I believe is from nutrient burn. Won’t go as heavy next top dress. I have ordered a soil ph pen which will be arriving tomorrow so that I can’t test my soil ph and the run off. Until then I have ph'd the water to 6.0 to hopefully stimulate more growth before flower. These plants are very short but stacked! I can’t wait to see how big they are at pre flower. After it’s 3rd week stretch. Reach for the skies bitches! Watering less aswell. I believe iam overwatering because I go days without seeing these girls. Exhale c02 bag doing well. Resembles mould at the moment. I want to take a moment to thank everyone who’s visited my diary. So there is actually very little work this week .. She has been a real joy to grow so far.. I do understand what they meant by pheno-hunting...

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. So I harvested on day 70, Pretty excited, I started with 12 seeds, 1 never popped, 2 got messed up in shell, but I hoped they would make it, they did, but they are embarrassing, I one the root system barley existed the other got so bushy and I didn't stay on top of it so it was all frost, no actual buds, pfff. THE OTHER GIRLS more than made up for it, I changed the light cycle to 10 on, 14 off for the last 4 days of light, and then the last 2 days no lights at all. Super happy so far, oh, I did not water at all the last 4 days, I thought that may help my rh during the dry, starting the dry a little on the plant, nope, my rh is high. still happy

Transplanted in the afternoon of 10/23 because they were rooting out of the pucks. Got some humidity dome cups coming tomorrow and another inline fan to handle intake to try to dial in things a bit more. Fugue State #2, in the black pot is still a bit shell shocked, hopefully it opens up soon. Well both #2 and #3 damped off / shell shocked to death, so there's just one left, c'est la vie. #1 is trucking along well and ready for week 2. Cream Cookies was such a fun plant to grow. It germinated extremely fast, popping out of the peat pellet at ~3 days. It takes about two weeks from germination for the plant to really get its root system to the point that it can support explosive vegetative growth. Once you're at the explosive vegetative growth stage (Week 2-5) the plant absolutely shoots up and stretches to the moon. LST works wonders to expose lower bud sites and break symmetry of the plant. FIM can be used to stop main stalk vertical growth and transition the plant to build up its already present flowering nodes. At Week 5 preflowers become apparent. The plant then experiences a second stretch and subsequent explosive bud growth. From that point the plant doesn't grow vertically but instead horizontally. Curating its fan leaves and growing to be just an absolute beast. If your phenotype sticks around in veg for just a week longer, you'll see the plant just become a behemoth. Im still working on my technique but my goal for this grow was to triple my per plant yield compared to nay last grow and I did that! I had 1 plant going and the dry bud weight is 45gs. Im extremely happy because the buds are just beautiful. Im learning so much! Im hoping my third grow I can double my yield from this grow! My phone broke so ill update with photos of the buds when I can.
