Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. I think the first and last plants will be at least a week apart in harvest, perhaps 2 or 3. ### Week 7 Day 6 23:00 11/8 Fertigated 1.6l each The smell in the tent is there now, really not that strong but there are 6 plants motoring through flower here now so it's not insignificant either. Plant 3 is absolutely stacking now, she's more or less run out of space around her cola and is now growing some foxtail like structures, exciting! Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today. How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. I started with three Blackberry Moon Rock seeds, and two of them sprouted – awesome! These girls are loving life, reaching for the sky as the tallest plants in my tent. They're already about six inches tall, and they're taking up all the nutrients very well without any nute burn. Both blackberry moonrocks plants are very similar height although they have very different looks to them. The one of the 2 definitely going ti strech alot more than the other. One has internodes about 1 cm apart rn and the other is about 3/4 to 1 inch between nodes. Happy late turkey day grow diaries world!!!! It's now day 24 from seed for all the seedlings I have going. The past few days the plants have really started to take off. There roots have really started to dig in. Every other water I am still giving 2ml per gal of fox farm grow big. I keep having to tell myself not to add any more nutes other than that. I don't want to fry my plants but I also want they to start jumping. I'm quite excited for the coming week, I think the next 7 days or so is when the plant really starts to transform and look more like a pot plant than just some random little green thing. A few days ago I decided to move the plants from under my 55w cheep amazon light to under my spider farmer 100w newer version light with the good leds in it. The plants will hopefully be ready to up pot them here soon and get them in the large tent. Sometimes when growing multiple different strains it can be really hard to balance giving to much or to little light. You don't want the faster growing plants to get to stretched out waiting on the slower plants to catch up I spend Thanksgiving day morning transplanting the plants into 2gal pots. I am useing spme promix potting soil it's my 1st time tring this soil. It is actually doing really well the roots were all white and nice looking. I think next time I'm going to add some worm casting, kelp, granular mycos, and a little bit extra perlite. I just didn't have the money with christmas coming to splurge for all the extra stuff. I got rid of 2 plants 1 of the bubble og and 1 skunk apple runtz. There is only room for 10 pots in the 2x4 tent. I will peob only bring 8 of them to flower, always good to have back ups. Yesterday I also stuck the plants back under the 500w medicgrow mini sun 2 in my 2x4 tent. They did great under it the 2nd half the day I was happy they didn't get stressed. I had put them under that light a little early about 10 days ago or so. I am expecting in a week these plants will ge going crazy with growth

Very nice plant with dense nugs. 3 days ago I gave her a last meal. in 2 weeks, I will harvest this nice smelling lady, till then only tap water. here is day 52 of flowering

So many things have changed. My partner left me and took the left plant. I did more defoliation and performed lollipoping. It's a pity I couldn't do it a week ago. Hope they will grow much, I’m really scared of receiving popcorn.

Was following the soil, feeding schedule provided by Fox farms up until first feeding for this week. After doing some research on here and finding out that all three strains will take about 14 to 15 weeks. I have decided I will stretch the vegetation phase by 2 weeks. So I stopped topping this week to see where the tops are at on these plants, and after seeing the explosion of growth after the 1 to 7 gal transplant, I think these are good to go! I’m waiting on switching to flower until I plant and germinate my next run, which will be in about 2 weeks. Also debating on running clones of these if I see any I like during the flowering stretch. I had to instal a carbon filter yesterday, Oct15, as my mother in law said it smells like a skunk sprayed the side of my house. Didn’t think I would need to until flower, but I guess it’s expected with this many plants! Steady growth, and slowly shifting nutrient amounts up, get ready for some buds!

D88 - She stretched a lot and I did not intervene with her stretching that much. She doesn't even need any LST since the beginning of flowering. I am just defoliating her a little bit by taking out the leaves blocking the direct light and that's it. Pollination - Previously I harvested some male pollen from a female plant by spraying colloidal silver. This plant itself was a breed of White Rhino X AK47 (White47 I call it). Now I pollinate White 47 with AK47 again at the third week and it will have time to mature her seeds I hope. I marked the branches and turned off-the fan nearly for a day to prevent over-pollination. I took a video in case you want to create your own seeds!

Beginning of week.. She is doing amazing! Runoff is right where it needs to be.. leaves are looking nice and green with not so much leaf burning on the tips anymore.. new sets of leaves daily! Gonna need to lollipop a bit more. She should produce a decent harvest! So excited to see what she does in flower! So far, I've noticed that she is making some purple striped stiples at the very crown of each (future) cola! So so excited! Need to raise light up a bit.. I think she's getting over 1000 micromols at the center sine she has stretched a bit... Next day.. Whoops.. not sure how the hell she managed to stretch up to 1400+ micromols so quick.. had to raise the light quite a bit and also dim her down just a tad.. now the center is getting exactly 950 micromols in the center and around 650 - 700 micromols around the edges of the tent (footprint). Perfect! I noticed some purpling on a couple of the higher leaves.. these were the leaves getting over 1400 micromols and temps have been another lower than anticipated. So if she starts turning purple this early on, then WOW!.. She should make some pretty colorful colas! Mid week.. She really needs a haircut. She has grown a few nodes on each branch just in the last 7 days or even less. So beautiful! Humidity is being a bitch right now. Up to 70% and my dehumidifier can't even get it to drop a little.. ugh. Cold front blowing through as I type this, so hopefully it'll blow this moisture out by the end of the day. Pistols should be making a crown pretty soon! Still stretching like crazy. She still has plenty of head room for it.. but damn, I really need to get some of these leaves and lower branches out of the way. That should help bring the RH down quite a bit too.. I know she isn't THAT big, but it's still gonna take me awhile to trim her up.. kinda wondering if I could wait till next week and get it all done at once.. cuz I feel like she may need one more with the speed she's been stretching at. Next day... Went ahead and removed ALOT of foliage.. humidity should go down quite a bit.. these leaves give off a very strong skunky scent.. can't wait to see the terp action of this strain! "OoOo.. So this Week I've started using the green buzz nutrients range , wish me luck , I will update every weeks :) Update day 3 of week 3 I this morning removed two leaves from the top of this plant because or the formation of this girl so far growing her leaves downwards and then out , so in other words completely shading all light too the lower down growth spots I then tighed down the lower leaves too expose the branches , I think this girl will be a short pheno but think that may well be a blessing with the other 3 fast buds plants growing rapidly and already on there 4th or 6th set of leaves , Update , Day 5 week 3 , well as you can see compered too the other 3 plants in the same space on the same feed , It would appear that this pheno is very small and slow growing , Ive today removed the larger leaves covering up the branches too try and develop the branches , but something tells me this will be a very short and stumpy plant , But I am sure it will still be very nice bud all the same

Tag 35 - Ende der 5. Woche. In dieser Woche an Tag 33 habe ich die Pflanze etwas entlaubt. Dabei habe ich die untersten Triebe entfernt und zusätzlich alle weiteren Blätter die im unteren Bereich nur im Schatten standen entfernt um die Luftzirkulation zu verbessern und die Belichtung zu erhöhen. Die Pflanze ist voll im Stretch und hat diese Woche nochmal ordentlich an Höhe dazu gewonnen. Die Blüten entwickelt sich gut und wachsen. An Tag 29 wurde die Pflanze gedüngt. Nährstofflösung: 2 ml/l - Voodoo Juice Advanced Nutrients. 4 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part A 4 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part B 2 ml/l - Bud Candy Advanced Nutrients. Davon hat die Pflanze 500ml an Tag 29 erhalten.

Flipped these ladies 06 Oct 23 (Friday). After watering 09 Oct 23 (Monday) I walked in and the before SOG photos are what it looked like, I put up the new net and tied a few tops down to spread the canopy out. With the new trellis in place I'm going to let theses ladies rip and add another trellis once they outgrow their current one.
