Looking For a Keeper cream of the crop seeds Purple paralysis 24th February 2021 5 weeks of flowering down and I've had a few dramas this week....... Firstly a thunderstorm ripped thru and snapped a few branches that I had to "mend" with some good old tape. I also needed to add ropes to help support the long branches. The second thing that is happening is a Catterpillar attack 😠 After the recent rains I have noticed hundreds of butterflies and Moths flying around my garden which in turn equals bloody little plant eating catterpillars. I have made up a strong mix of chilli and garlic that I intend to spray all over my garden asap. Other than those couple of issues the plants are still growing nicely and the buds are stacking up and developing lots of sticky resin glands. 👌 Cheers for stopping by 👍

🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. This part of the process — the cure — is where the soul of the flower truly comes to life. ☀️ UV, Reds & The Perfect Run Part of what made this run so special was the precision in light spectrum. 40% whites, full reds, UV and IR, and the girls responded like royalty. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. All of it under ThinkGrow Model Ones powered through the Trolmaster ecosystem — everything syncing in harmony. This run was stable, lush, expressive — a grower’s dream. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. The Autopots system, combined with the Aptus Holland Clean Program and Plagron Green Sensation, made sure they had the perfect environment to expand, absorb, and thrive. Well week 12 and week 2 of flower started yesterday 8/22. Other than the clones everything is looking good. But to be fair I haven't really done much with them. They're like a bastard step child, I only kept em around out of moral obligation. Lol. J/k...sort of. Nah, just some weird bumps on a couple leaves and from what I can tell it's a copper and or zinc thing so I'm gonna get some Proactive, lol. So the mothers have definitely stretched, lol. Bruce has been shorter than Sky the whole time but whatever. That's pretty much it. Happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️ UPDATE: 8/24 AND WE HAVE BUD STARTING ON THE CLONES!!!!!!! it's always a pleasure to do business with Barney's Farm!!! They have never let me down even once!! Even in the worst situations and conditions they have always been able to bring out the best for me!! I really enjoyed forcing these plants to see their reactions, but I wouldn't do it again as a technique because it only serves to keep the canopy low but not to increase the yields...or...at least in my case I didn't find it of fundamental importance....maybe a simple cut of the apical top and that was it! but that's fine!😋

During week 4 (=flowering week 2) the 18 CANNALOPE HAZE plants from DNA-GENETICS grew like hell and started to develop their first white hairs (=female pistils of the plant). The speed in which the little white crowns appear is astounding to me, I LOVE IT! The lamps are now hung at the producer recommended distance of 22 cm (=LUMATEK) and 45 cm (=SANlight) and both run at 100% power (=no more dimming for now!). The difference between the left side (=Lumatek) and right side (=SANlight) can be seen clearly in the videos. The plants on the right under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED-Lamps from SANlight have a darker, healthier green color and have produced VISIBLY MORE FLOWERS then the plants on the left side under the Lumatek PRO 600W. Lets see how this goes further next week...😎

she grows very well in her third week of flowering ... under a little temperature ... but she stays strong ... let's hope she offers us in the future ... outdoor ... she grew a little ... this week I eat only with tap water ...

Alrighty, we’re closing in on the final transplant (moving from 3L to 11L) which should really encourage lateral growth. The two Northern Lights plants are very compact, so I’m already working on opening up the canopy early to prepare for a proper SCROG. If we transplant within the next 7 days, we’re likely looking at flipping to bloom in about three weeks. As a newbie to photoperiods (I’ve only run autos before), the growth pace feels very different; slower and more deliberate. But I actually enjoy how much more control you have. You can really shape them the way you want. Next step: stretch that canopy wide and let the net do its magic. The screen is coming soon; let’s weave a green carpet. Stats so far: 💧 Watering: Every third day 🌡️ Temp: 26–28°C 💦 Humidity: 70% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.13 kPa 💡 Light: ~600 PPFD

DÍA 1 - CUARTA SEMANA DE VEGETA (26-05-2022) *Se sigue con el LST (28-05-2022) * Se le aplica una poda selectiva a todas * Tuve un problema de riego con varias * En su día 31 desde q salió del sustrato, de las 6, hay 3 ya que van bien y han sufrido soportaron mejor el estrés, de las otras 3; hay una Banana y una AK que vienen más bajas que todas, de ramas más cortas y distancia internodal corta a comparación de las otras. Después esta la lemon que se viene recuperando muy bien de estrés y fue la que siempre vino más grande y ramificada :) DÍA 7 ÚLTIMA SEMANA VEGETA (01-06-2022) * Último día de la semana de vegetación, ya mañana es su día 1 de flora. * El día de ayer se le regó lo último con Vegalquimia, y se le añadió 1ml de Alquisweet de LAAOS. * Estos últimos 2 días he tenido problema de temperaturas muuuy bajas donde vivo, con luz encendida llegan 20 grados con suerte y luz apagada a 12-13 grados. Estoy tratando de jugar con bajar la humedad pero no la puedo bajar a menos de 55% aprox. Espero ya mañana arreglar ese problema de bajas temperaturas. * Lo que es el cultivo se ve bien dentro de todo. Hay dos enanas que se estresaron en la semana 2 y quedaron pequeñas. A todas se le aplicaron LST, unas resistieron mejor los distintos estrés ya mencionados en semanas anteriores. Pero va bien. * Hay 3 en pre flora, una de ellas en pre flora avanzada y es una de las más enanas.
