This plant has been a Beast has been going very healthy and very strong I have been defoliation heavily to ensure maximum light penetration into the canopy in order to make them ready for flowering cycle . Beginning of week... So the ladies are beginning to stack pistils at the crowns.. The Mandarin Cookies has been stacking a little quicker.. Thicker.. They both are showing purple tips on the stiples.. Not the pistils or leaves.. The stiples.. ETHOS Cookies has been showing that for ever now.. The Mandarin Cookies has just started showing these purple tipped stiples.. Gorgeous plants.. Even tho Mandarin Cookies is super freakishly tall and stretchy.. And the ETHOS Cookies is basically a runt.. Doesn't want to make ANY stems.. But plenty of leaves lol.. She should be able to hold up some super fat colas pretty easily tho so that's awesome! I stopped using the Armor Si and the FloraGro.. As well as the MYCO Plus (powder) stuff.. Also going down on the FloraMicro.. Just basically using 1 tsp/gallon of the CALiMAGic, FloraMicro, FloraBloom, and Kushie Kush.. 30 drops/gallon of the Floralicous Plus (not sure if that's too much to be honest).. 2 tsp/gallon of the FloraNectar Fruit-N-Fusion and last but not least... 2 mL/gallon of Hydroguard... *phew*.. Damn that's alot.. But that's alot less then what I was giving these girls... They should do alot better.. Mid week... I have defoliated the ETHOS Cookies a bit more.. Mostly trying to make sure there is good airflow and no larfy producing branches in there.. She should produce some really nice colas with how short and stubby she is lol.. As for the Mandarin Cookies, I've just been supercropping the shit outta the really tall branches.. I've never supercropped a plant so much lol.. And I'm not good at it at all.. Most of the branches are split open, bruised.. Just very crappy looking.. It will heal, they always do 😂 I just hate hurting them like this.. Especially in flower.. But it's still pretty early in flower.. And the pistils are still exploding just as much as the non-supercropped branches.. I can't wait!!!... End of week.. Both girls are exploding with trichomes! I love these super frosted strains! The ETHOS Cookies seems to be stackin calyxes faster than the Mandarin Cookies.. I can tell the ETHOS Cookies is gonna stack some fat ass colas! The ETHOS Cookies runoff is doing good.. pH going in is 6.2 - 6.3 and runoff is usually 6.0 - 6.2.. Foliage is nice and green.. She may be nitrogen sensitive deeper into flower.. Maybe not.. We shall see.. As for the Mandarin Cookies.. Wow.. This girl is super tall.. She is also stackin calyxes, pistils and nicely. The runoff is still giving me issues but as far as I can tell, she is accepting it and making the best of what she has. Going in pH is 6.2 - 6.3.. Runoff is coming out 5.6 - 5.7.. It's bothering the shit outta me! Lol.. It doesn't seem to matter what pH I put in, it will ALWAYS runoff at 5.6 - 5.7 pH.. But like I said.. She is accepting it as long as I keep the "in" pH in my preferred range.. I usually keep the "going in" pH at 6.1 - 6.3 the ENTIRE grow.. I always get great results doing this.. Its best for Calcium uptake and Calcium is a huge issue when it comes to growing in coco coir.. Anyways.. Both ladies are doing great.. Both look gorgeous and healthy.. Oh yeah!! I like to rub the trichomes to get a little idea of what the terpenes are gonna be like.. And hoooooly shit.. ETHOS Cookies smells like nothing I've ever smelled before.. I can't even begin to explain it.. Literally.. And the Mandarin Cookies is starting to give off a nice citrusy scent.. I hope this carbon filter is able to scrub the air enough.. Cuz if these are anything like the Early Lemon Berry, then yeah, this carbon filter is gonna be put thru the ultimate test lol.. Anyways.. On to the next week!....

This fifth week started off kinda rough. I had to remove some sick leaves that got hit by leaf miners. I’ve cleaned up all the damaged parts from the plants, including this one. On Monday, I’m gonna spray them with a ready-to-use mix that has Neem oil, nettle extract, and horsetail. I also noticed a slight nutrient deficiency, probably because until now I was only watering with untreated tap water — didn’t check the pH at all. Even when I fertilized, I still used water with no pH adjustment. I’ve only just started using pH-controlled water like two or three times now, since I finally bought a pH meter. Now I’m watering and fertilizing with everything adjusted to 6.5, so that’s something I need to keep in mind from now on. I’m planning to bump up the fertilizer to 1 ml per 500 ml of water. I’m using Biobizz Bloom, and I wanna keep the dose like that because the pot is small — just 3.2 liters — so I don’t wanna overdo it with 1 liter of water. I’ve noticed that 500 ml works just fine, so I’ll stick to that. Other than that, everything seems to be going okay.

Learned a lot from this grow and am very happy with the results. Pulled 2.8 Oz and 1.1 Oz of trim/popcorn buds in a one gallon pot. Definitely wont be doing that again, but had a lot of fun throughout the entire process. Going to be starting another grow soon! Very excited for that.

She completed the first week of flowering happily and she keeps stretching. Trailers net added to level the canopies.

One girl has stretched, the other very much a squatting bush. Both appear healthy, with good stems and leaf growth. Just going to let them do their thing and admire them on occasion!

She is strong now in better soil

She's really starting to get purple and intensify in smell now 🍃 have yet to have any huge issues with plants as long as you keep it simple and correct at first signs of stress. I really like the jam like smells atm. Hope when she's done the smoke is just as good. Just a few more weeks. Happy growing 🌴

It's been a busy week : 👉 I defoliated the plant by removing 8- 10 very big fan leaves, to allow more sunlight to reach the lower branches 👉 I took 2 cutting of my plant(s) 👉 I removed the six lowest branches and used the lower branches to make cuttings 👉 I started the light deprivation technique by moving the plants to my darkroom to force flowering. 👉👉👉👉Every morning at 8:30 am I move the plants in the greenhouse. 👉👉👉👉Every evening at 8:30 pm I move the plants inside the darkroom. 👉 Once a week I give the plants a liquid booster with OPF 4:2:8 ; Fulvic 25 ; Yuccah ; Biovin liquid ; Earthworm compost extract. Day 28-35 (May 28th - June 4th) (Day 29) My rooted blackberry #3 clone looks like it’s finally starting to reveg. It’s starting to stretch it’s internodes but no new growth yet. Nearly all 9 are pushing roots now. What a waste of time taking clones in flower! Won’t ever do that again. Grapefruit #1 has a twin! I thought it was just an odd formation on the taproot but two seedlings are pushing out. I wonder if it will be genetically identical. It’s definitely slower growing than the other one so who knows. I will try to train them apart when the time comes. (Day 30) I think the EC/PPMs are too high on nearly every plant including my veggies. The promix is actually really hot for a “blank” medium coming in at 1800. Adding compost and amendments to that is probably raising it to 2500+ at least. It should self balance the more I water it but I know for a fact I can get better growth by leaching the soil around each plant. Next time I use promix for anything, I’m going to prewash it like coco coir and add a dash of oyster shell flour for pH and calcium. (Day 32) Purple tuna is now big enough to start lst on now. I’m going to wait a little while for the slurricanes. (Day 33) One of the grapefruits has a twin that actually popped... I’m going to leave it and see how she turns out (Day 35) I’m going to prune off the lower leaves on each plant. I was going to lst Purple tuna but it’s so vigorous I may as well just top/mainline it. Autoflowers are looking established and should be taking off this week. I wonder if this will give them enough time to veg into decent sized plants before they flower. I won’t be topping or even doing lst. My goal is 22 big spear colas from each plant. I’m going to get all my rooted clones into 1.7 gallon pots over the next week or so.

Como estamos , aquí seguimos de confinamiento pero entre buenos humos y hoy toca actualizar las farm cheese de genofarm, A estas alturas e de decir que ya entramos en la recta final y estoy completamente satisfecho con esta variedad. Crecimiento rápido floración mucho más rápida cogollos compactos y llenos de resina, eso que hablo de que quedan varias semanas entre lavados y demás pero muy bien. Sigo controlando ph 6.2 humedad 50% y temperatura en 26.5 . Y estos resultados gracias al ts600 de mars hydro. Esta semana Añadi overdrive importante al final de una floración, para conseguir mejores resultados, nos vemos la semana que viene, buenos humos fumetillas.

Hey now, hope everyone is well, this week went pretty good, both Glueberry OG Autos sprouted, and look good for a week in. They are currently in Pro-Mix seedling starter mixed with perlite but will be transferred to Coco Coir/Perlite as soon as their roots fill up the solo cups. I have grown seedlings in Coco Coir many times but I prefer to start them in ProMix because as there are no nutes in coco, you have to start with tiny quantities of nutes and work them up each feeding, and seedlings can be very finicky to EC/PH etc., and some strains can even be much more so than others. With Pro Mix, there is enough nutes for the first several weeks so I just give them water with a plastic syringe every 2nd or 3rd day. I have found that starting seedlings in Coir doesn't really produce a big advantage (at least for me) but her time in Coir will come. A couple things I also do is make sure to go by container weight above all else to know when to water. It is very easy to overwater seedlings and drown them, as I did when I first started. The other thing is I just lightly water around the very edge of the cup, to prevent drowning the roots, and also to force them to work their way out to the edges of the container instead of straight to the bottom. I started prepping a few bricks coco for this grow last night, I am re-using the coir from my last grow. I flushed it down to .4 EC and I currently have it soaking in a Cal Mag solution of 2.0 EC. I will let it soak for a few days then flush it again back down to around .4 EC. This is important to prevent cal mag deficiency down the road. To flush I just use a garden hose and a couple of saw horses with a 2X4 running through the handles of some fabric pots filled with my coir. It makes it easy to flush, and also easy to catch runoff underneath and measure the EC. I inspected and tested 2 of my drainage system this afternoon as I always test them outside with a few gallons of water before I set them up in the tent. Not much to do this week but hand water them every couple days, and hopefully by next update one of them will be ready or damn near ready for her final home which will be a 5.4 Gallon Airpot. I will be giving the other away to a friend to see what he can do with it. Once in her final home she will get fed 4x per day, and the runoff will go to my tomatoe plants outside which will also be in coir. I am super excited to crank this Medic Grow Spectrum X up and see what she can do. I am currently running her at 30% which is about 230 watts. I will be adding more seedlings to the tent here shortly to try and fill her up, but I started with the longest autoflowers and am trying to time them so they are all ripe within a relatively close time frame.
