Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.

So only 2cm vertical growth this week..... But she got a lot bushier!

Bueno familia ya finalizamos con el proyecto de las Runtz de seedstockers, son una cepa bestial. La verdad que el secado muy bien 9 días en Malla y a los botes, 40% humedad y 21 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado, aparte deshumidificador enchufado 24 horas al día. En resumen la cepa es muy fácil de cultivar, el germinado se me resistió igual es complicado el germinado pero el resto es simple resistente fácil de alimentar pienso que es rápida los tricomas ya estaban hechos y se me hecho el tiempo encima. This strain seriously surpassed my expectations this plant grew and grew and grew huge yields big chunky buds of some sticky dank goodness the grow went great no real problems very strong strain nothing slows this plants down the weather and my errors beat the shit out of it and it never missed a beat it just kept on growing this was one of the easiest cannabis strains I’ve ever grown it’s resistance to mold and mildew and stress was impressive if grown outdoor i would highly recommend that you take extra steps to Secure the tall long branch’s that’s grow big heavy buds this plant is definitely a big yielding plant and needs extra security I’m more the happy of the results hope everyone in joyed the diaries as much as I did making it I’ve been growing for many years now and had fun doing it but it wasn’t until I found grow diaries and all the benefits of grow diaries I found how amazing growing really can be I’ve learned so much and met so many great people on GD my experience with GD has been amazing Blue Gelato 41 Barney’s farm thanks guys for the seeds and great genetics I truly appreciate it I had a good time with this one 😁✌️🏻🇺🇸

There have been no trips for 2 weeks, but prevention is better 😀. Because of the neem oil, the plants look very dark and shiny, which I really like when they shimmer like that 😝. I didn't do any training these days, that will be done again the next few days 👌. it was watered twice this week with around 0.6 l per plant. The Ph / Ec measuring device was also recalibrated. Day 29. I adjust the LST to form the canopy. pH at 5.8 Day 30. It's not necessary to adjust anything, just a little the main stem. pH at 5.7. Growing well :D Day 32. I change the water in the tank, I go from the vegetative table to the flowering stage, keeping the same Ec pH to 5.9. I make some small adjustments to the LST and remove a few fan leaves. Day 35. Growth is pretty good. The pH drops about 0.5 by day, the plant drinks about 1 liter a day, (I think this is due to the decrease in pH). First defoliation. In general, the week has been good. Now I have to deal with the daily pH drops I think caused by the water intake of the plant. Possibly one more week of stretching remains, Auto Mandarina is 70% sativa 30% indica, so an Indica dominance would be better for my set up.

4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

It’s day 33’from seed. All of the plants are really healthy. The plants have a really great root system at this point… I am currently slowly moving the light intensity up to the veg area. Now that are in a groove they are about to explode… I’m hoping I can flip the plants to flower in 1 weeks but I’m thinking I will wait to weeks and let them get a little larger. The plants are just now starting to look visually different next weeks update I will be ababoe to go into the visual differences, they are just not that extreme yet to really talk to much about.

Welcome to Week 1! On Day 1 after breakthrough, they both got 300 ml water each close to the plant, amended with 4ml/L of Rootjuice and 2 ml/L of Activera, both BioBizz. On Day 4 after breakthrough, they both got 500 ml water each, close and a bit spread out, same dosage of nutes. In my last grow i used 2ml/L of rootjuice but biobizz upped the dosage on the schedule so i thought why not try it out. They receive around 300 ppfd of light, 18 hours a day, ~20 DLI Temps are a bit low for my taste but its winter here and my SO likes to keep the window open, much to not only my plants dismay, but mine too lol. Didnt measure height cause i filled up a bit of soil after their initial little germ stretch Ill post the timelapse and some more pics at the end of this week. This one has the frost, makes me want to bust out the bubble bags and hash her out! Another that's been very simple to grow, easy feeder and not to picky on anything else. Super dense nuggies with that lovely purple hint to them, an ode to her Purple Haze lineage, with a very earthy, almost nutty aroma. Another day or so then I'll swap out the nutes for some flawless finish (10/14) and properly flush her out. I have to bet this one's gonna be an evening indulgence. Please do yourself a favor and visit the HBS site and give Geoff's work a run in your tent, I promise you'll be in awe of his selected crosses from some of the most prestigious breeders out there.

05/31 -Day 64 ~650 PAR across the canopy. A & B continuing to stack. C & D’s pistols are starting to change colors along with some swelling. 06/03 - DAY 67 (C) top nugs are feeling tight and hard. Still assuming another 2 weeks till chop. (D) Foxtails coming out everywhere but not too extreme. Possibly another 2 weeks. (A) & (B) slowly progressing still.

Great week overall, environment working very well and maintaining temp even on hot summer days - 33C outside! Humidity is too high at night when the extractor switches off. Plug timer need to run from 10pm to 4am. Reduced pump to 1 min fill as planned Took reservoir from 22L to 17L to save chems and avoid spillage as roots grow. As they fill their pot I was finding progressively larger puddles every morning Video of rootball and Flood and Drain in action Scrog net finally arrived after being delayed in the mail by a month :D Had a go at FIMing, waiting on results Raised lamps by 5cm Green leaves showing no signs of burn Roots looking healthy and well developed I keep getting too enthusiastic with the pH+ and always have to top-up with water to raise the level back. No more than 0.5ml needed at each test.

Such an amazing flower, really great especially a phenomenal hash producer yall will be super satisfied with this one!! She’s a shorty but Make sure you top 4 to 6 times or even more to have all them gooey bud producing heads , Dirtyblonde is absolutely an amazing plant!!

04/09/2018 switched to 660 watt light. Gave the girls a last feeding. Planning to flush them and shorten their light time.
