​Die finale Phase der Vegetation war ereignisreich. Pünktlich zu Beginn der Woche stand für die Jelly Donutz der finale Medienwechsel an. Die Dame wurde erfolgreich aus ihrem alten Schuh in den großen 15-Liter-Stofftopf umgetopft, um dem Wurzelsystem maximalen Freiraum für den kommenden Stretch zu bieten. Die Oberfläche wurde zudem sauber abgedeckt. ​Beim Blick auf die Wachstumsstruktur im Nachhinein fiel auf: Das eigentlich geplante zweite Topping wurde schlichtweg vergessen. Dieser ausbleibende Schnitt wird das finale Wuchsmuster natürlich ein wenig beeinflussen – die Haupttriebe durften dadurch ungestört weiterziehen, anstatt sich nochmals aufzuspalten. Das tut der brutalen Optik des Humboldt-Strains jedoch absolut keinen Abbruch. Die Pflanze strotzt vor Vitalität, steht extrem stämmig im Substrat und hat den neuen Topf zügig angenommen. Zum Ende der Woche hin waren alle Parameter im grünen Bereich, sodass die Beleuchtung nun offiziell auf den Blüte-Rhythmus von 12 Stunden umgestellt wurde. Wir verabschieden uns aus einer starken Vegi und sind bereit für die ersten Blütenansätze!

Week 4 Flower – Supercrop Week: Taming the Moon-Shooter Both Sundae Driver girls are thriving, stacking bud sites and frosting up fast. Pheno #2 tried to aim for the moon, so this week I performed a supercrop to keep the canopy even and unlock more lateral sites. She bounced back within days and is already curving up; new sites are catching light beautifully. I also did a light, targeted defoliation to open airflow, nothing heavy. Feed & Mix (this week) Testing a hybrid Aptus + Plagron approach at low solution EC to complement the rich, pre-amended soil. • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml/L • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – light dose, just to keep LED demand covered Why low feed? The living/“easy” soil we built is still hot and active (medium EC ~2.96 mS/cm), so I’m keeping the solution EC ~0.4–0.5 mS/cm with pH ~6.1. That lets the soil do most of the work while I steer with gentle inputs and avoid salt stacking or tip burn. ⸻ Deep Dive: Supercropping (What, Why, When, How) What it is Supercropping is a high-control, high-reward training move: you soften (pinch) the inner stem tissues and bend the stem over without tearing the skin. The plant heals with a strong “knuckle,” redistributes hormones, and pushes more energy to side shoots. Result: flatter canopy, better light use, more productive sites. Why do it (Week 4 Flower)? • Pheno #2 outpaced the canopy and was nearing the lights • Even canopy = more uniform PPFD and bud development • Bending redirects auxins to lower sites → more usable bud sites • A late stretch check without heavy cutting Best timing • Ideal: late veg through early flower stretch (Weeks 2–4 of flower) while stems are still pliable. • Later than Week 4: be more cautious—stems lignify and snap easier. Step-by-step 1. Hydrate first: Slightly hydrated plants bend better than very dry ones. 2. Choose the internode you want to lower (usually the tall outlier). 3. Pinch and roll the stem gently between thumb and forefinger for 5–10 seconds to soften the pith. 4. Bend to ~45–90° toward an open space in the canopy. 5. Support: If the skin shows micro-cracks, wrap loosely with plant tape; add a soft tie or stake to hold position. 6. Aftercare: Keep airflow up, avoid heavy feeding changes for 24–48h, and don’t stack stress (no major pruning at the same time). What to expect after • Leaves may droop for a few hours; prayer and curve-up typically return within 24–72 hours. • A hardened knuckle forms in 3–7 days, strengthening the stem. • Side sites along the bent branch accelerate; top re-orients upward. • Usually less foxtailing later because tops are kept at ideal distance from the light. Risks & how to avoid them • Snap/tear: Don’t bend dry or cold stems; soften first and bend slowly. • Infection: If skin splits, tape loosely and keep humidity in check. • Over-stressing: Avoid combining with heavy defol or big feed changes on the same day. ⸻ Canopy & Care Notes • Minor defoliation only this week—just a few broad fans that shaded key sites. I prefer leaf tucking elsewhere to preserve photosynthetic “engines.” • Aroma is coming on; both phenos are stacking clean white pistils with visible trichome build on sugar leaves. • I took the girls outside the tent for a careful studio shoot—this might be the last time. Intentional supercropping is great; accidental branch breaks during handling are not. ⸻ Why this recipe (and why it’s gentle) • Power Buds helps flower initiation/transition behave predictably. • Green Sensation brings a compact PK + micro package and carbs; paired at low EC to avoid over-layering with the soil’s nutrients. • Sugar Royal supports metabolism and aroma precursors. • Regulator + CalMag keep cell walls strong, transpiration steady, and LEDs fed. • With substrate EC ~2.96, I’m letting biology and amendments supply most macros; the solution (~0.4–0.5 EC, pH ~6.1) is a steering wheel, not the engine. ⸻ What’s Happening Now • Stretch is nearly done; supercrop leveled the canopy without stalling growth. • Bud sites multiplying and beginning early stacking. • Trichomes appearing across sugar leaves; calyx build just starting. 2nd week and I can tell one thing for sure. I'm really bad gardener 😬 Had to leave for 5 days and that was let's say suboptimal. Another proof that this strain is able to live with little to none attention. Changed the light hours to 20/4 to let them rest for at least a little time. Last big change was me finally finishing my controll system so even without me being present conditions were almost constant to preseted values (temp +/-0.2°C and humidity +/- 6%) Really happy with their grow so i hope it all be OK.

Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! We’ve also added a timing twist: • Reds & UV start 15 minutes before whites to simulate sunrise. • Reds & UV finish 15 minutes after whites to mimic sunset, creating a more natural light transition. These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. La humedad está en su punto, me podría quejar por temperatura ya que me gustaría tenerla par de grados abajo pero aún así va a a crecer bien. Day 35 and everything looks freaking great. I'm still struggling with the aphids though. They keep being tricky. They started hiding under leaves now. Before they were hiding on the stems and the stems have been clear. Anyways these plants are great. I want them to finish building seeds so that I can harvest and clean the tent and get rid of them already

wow!!!!! she's amazing :) her buds already look stiff, and she's still ripening :) Zamnesia Runtz auto is great for small spaces, I can also smell her amazing scent, I have no doubt that she'll have a great smoke :) the girl will only get 6.3ph water from now on, -washing :) I think she has about 2 weeks left until the finish :) I can't take all the credit for it, my Cat helps me :) watch the video :).

: End of week #6, and I’m extremely happy with the results so far, especially considering the conditions inside the tent — it’s quite small with limited airflow. The plants are in full bloom and still bulking up nicely. A strong aroma is starting to fill the space (my roommates are already complaining about the smell!). I’ve been following the BioBizz feeding schedule to the letter, carefully keeping the pH between 6.3 and 6.5, and watering every other day without skipping nutrients. As shown in previous weeks, my RHC #2 has become the tallest plant, and it’s clearly the one that will produce the biggest and fattest colas. RHC #1, on the other hand, is denser but its colas aren’t as large. Overall, I’m very pleased with the progress and now eagerly waiting for the moment to start the drying process. I assume that eventually the colas will start turning red, although there’s only about a 60% chance of that happening. RHC #1 is already showing some color on its leaves, which is a good sign. Once it’s fully mature, the colors should become more intense — hopefully shifting into a deep, vibrant red. I’m really looking forward to seeing that transformation take place as the plants reach their final stages. 😍

Day 37: The girls have fully recovered from the nute-burn and they seem to grow fine, but a little slow. I am getting use to this slow-growth, and hope I will soon have learned enough to make no mistakes, and get a "normal" grow

These plants are doing way better then my last G14 so far! They love the Recharge and Bushdoctor I gave them yesterday.

It's been a while, I know, but been too busy during this festives to keep the diary up... As you can see, my ladies suffered from plague. Damn spidermites! I've try to control them every day but they were too long in bloom to do something for this little creepers! So, after 11 week of bloom I've decided to cut them and wash the buds as in a video made by Mr.Cervantes seen on youtube, and made a video so that it can be useful. I've mix 120ml of H2O2 in 10Lts of water, washed the buds for a couple of minute, rinse'em and then hanging for a couple of hours with a fan that gently blowin on them. The result is in the photo. So, mates, this journey has ended, I've learned a lot of things during this real first indoor grow, and this also thanks to you and your hint. Great week! She grew 10in and responds well to the full dose of nutes. Cut back on the Gro and upped Bloom. Smell up 1100sq feet nicely. She’s been under a 600w and will be put in a 5x5 soon with a 1000w LED.

This week it's been warm and such a bad time for my AC to go out but overall temps been in the mid it's inside the tent and the plants seem to not mind at all. They're still getting fed 16oz daily.
