Today officially starts week 4 of flower.. - The best part of my day is waking at 530am to open my tent and get a big whiff of that beautiful aroma. MMMM. Gave the girls a good watering this morning and picked out some dying vegetation from under the canopy to keep things clean. Humidity is still a bit low, but with all the vegetation in there I don't mind. I'd literally cry if I got bud rot or some crap like that. - I noticed that the critical kush stems seem kind of of flimsy compared to the other strains. No doubt it smells amazing, but as she puts on more weight it's likely to become a problem. Maybe I should consider silica on the next run.?! Of the 3 kiwi skunk phenos, only one seems to be producing any significant tricombs or smell. The other two look as though they will be good yielders, however, I seriously doubt any real potency. - Of the 9 plants I currently have growing, I would expect I'll probably only keep 3, maybe 4. There's no point wasting time on mediocre bud. - I think the pheno hunt is the best part of the growing process. Every seed is like having a new child. Sometimes, they grow up to be such beautiful creatures. Other times, you can tell their clock ain't ticking right. You can end up with fat high powered coals or those small, no good popcorn buds. And, at the end of the day, unlike kids and wives, you can throw them away and not feel sorry for ordering new replacements online when you get tired of their BS. - - - I love that my tent is right next to my desk. It's the best view anyone could ever ask for! 😍 - Went through today and pulled out a small bit of water leaves to increase airflow from the bottom up to the top, as well as to allow the light to reach deeper in to the canopy. I don't get too crazy with the plucking. Only if its covering another cola or overlapping causing moisture to build up on the leaves. It works well, in my case, to keep the humidity down and limits places for any potential pests to hide while flowering. I usually pull out a handful every other day or so. - - Switched my center light (600w) down to 50% (flower spectrum only) on the 28th. With all of my lights on full spectrum, there's more than enough light for the plants (~1200w eq). I noticed new pistils emerging that shouldn't be and I fear it's causing light stress and/or foxtailing to the critical kush, which is directly in the center of the tent. Since it happened on my last grow with the blue dream and it's not inherently genetic, I'll err on the side of caution this time around.

Time to transplant! --- It’s been two days since both have been watered. --- To loosen and unstick the rootball from the cup, I gently squeezed the sides before pressing the bottom upwards. --- Once fully loosened, I simply Vulcan-gripped the base of the plant and flipped her upside down. - [18:33]: Gorilla Goat #1 dropped straight out of her cup! --- Hmm. Not as rooted as I would hope, but roots look white and healthy! --- The original Garlic Budder #1 pheno easily slipped out of her cup! --- Similar the Gorilla Goat, she could have more roots, but that’s okay. Also finally decided to fully give tissue culture a go! --- Another huge shout out to Laur and her independently ran business, Plants-In-Jars! --- If successful, learning tissue culture will be a huge ganja journey milestone by providing a sustainable way to preserve and maintain a diverse genetic library. --- Through continuous subculturing and micro propagation, I should be able to maintain unrooted explant cuttings forever. --- Then when needed, theses cuttings can be rooted and conditioned back into a clonal state and back into solo-cups for transplanting. --- Of course, I have absolutely no idea what I am doing, so developing a successful cannabis tissue culture protocol is going to be fun and full of failure, err, I mean, learning experiences! --- What can possibility go wrong right!? --- While learning (which will most likely take a bit), will continue to maintain the vegging mothers and solo cup clones. --- The ganja journey continues! hi to all, brothers of the weed! my orange juice is nice and ready to be harvested!this beautiful plant was really very strong and resistant, in a short time it dominated all the cousins that were in the room! as always we will perform a dry trim and we will do a lot of good content and other reviews on the smoke so stay up to date!

Last week there was a hurricane coming this way 🤦🤷 so i placed the plant in front of the window but of course 0 sunlight, this means we lost some critical time of the buds getting bigger and fatter, bad luck 😔 i think we are giving this plant 1 more week

This week has been all about new beginnings and meticulous care, as we continue to nurture these beauties towards their full potential. Let’s dive in! New Home, Sweet Home This week, our P.C.R.s made the big move to their new 3x3 tent, and boy, do they love it! Under the bright and consistent light of the ViparSpectra P2000, these plants are set to thrive. The P2000 is a game-changer, offering a full spectrum that mimics natural sunlight, ensuring our plants get the best light for every stage of their growth. It’s like bringing a slice of the sun indoors! Leaf Love and Clones We also took some leaves and cuts this week to encourage bushier growth and to propagate new plants. Each cut was carefully treated with Clonex Gel, a rooting hormone that gives our clones the best start. Think of it as a nutrient-packed smoothie for our cuttings, providing all they need to develop strong, healthy roots. To keep our new clones happy and hydrated, we used Clonex Mist, which is like a gentle rain shower, supplying essential nutrients and promoting robust root development. It’s all about giving them the TLC they need to become the next generation of thriving plants. TLC and Maintenance With the move, I made sure to maintain the optimal environment inside the tent. Our TDS is holding steady at 410, with a pH of 5.8 and a temperature of 21°C for watering. These parameters are crucial for nutrient uptake and overall plant health, ensuring our P.C.R.s have everything they need to flourish. Why We Do What We Do Understanding the importance of each step is key. Day 62: time to flush! Flushed her with canna flush once so now for 5-7 days I will just give her plain water with ph- She looks so nice! Week 9 - Day 63 - 26/11/19 Im so grateful to be a part of this community and to be at this milestone so to speak :) had an amazing time growing this plant, thanks to everyone who had a look or contributed to my diary! Harvest was fun but that little 16cm tall plant stunk my whole house out of cheese when i started trimming her :) Added a few photos and videos of the harvesting, i got a little ball of hash off the scissors which i smoked in a bong and it was nice! very hashy! its taken about 2 hours to finish trimming but ive stored all the trim in the freezer along with the dwarf trim from my last diary :) im making cannabutter and edibles this week. really excited for that. So i hung my drying rack outside the tent beside the passive intake. temps are between 20-22c in the room so it should dry fine and im hoping the passive intake will drag the smell in and keep it sort of fresh in the room :) This diary has got me excited for my Quick One plant as its much taller and has colas like arms :D. Il update in 3-7 days when buds are dried and then il be updating a lot throughout curing :) Day 65 - 28/11/19 Still drying these buds :) they look much smaller now, i smoked a small bud and although its much drier than harvest its still spongy/sticky and stretchy when breaking apart so 2-3 more days drying i think. Smell is wonderful especially if you get it on your hands, its like tropical fruit cheese and the effects of thc are not as pronounced with this strain but i felt very relaxed, no muscle pain etc and no paranoia or anxiety. i havent had a clear relaxed headspace before bed in a very long time. Any 1:1 THC/CBD is a must grow, give it a try if you havent already, i couldnt have picked a better starter medical plant as i love a good old cheese strain :) And i made some cannabutter out of the 59g of sugar leaves i got from this diary and my first diary. il have to upload a few pictures of the process later and let you all know if the cannabutter worked in my brownies :) Day 66 - 29/11/19 Started curing and added a photo to show :) buds were at 59-60% when left in the jar alone for a few hours so i threw in my boveda 58% pack and started burping 5-6 times per day :) i could have cured for a week before adding the boveda pack but i had barely any bud in the huge jar so i thought it would be wise to add the boveda to prevent mold and to keep it curing perfectly! Day 67 - 30/11/19 Posted a picture of a handful of buds :) i smoked a few in a bong and had a joint and it left me nice and medicated! no anxiety no paranoia nicely locked to the couch and sleepy. perfect nightime smoke as it wont trip you out or mess with your head, just a nice happy little mellow buzz! Flavour hasnt really came through yet, not sure what to expect as im a newbie but its slightly like cheese/flowery/herbs. Curing is definitely helping every day! the smell is getting better, buds are getting really smooth and they look amazing also! really excited for the next few weeks curing :) Final Update - Day 69 - 02/12/19 Finally here at the end of this diary and i have to say i loved growing this plant. it was a dark green colour throughout growing and took whatever i threw at it. Buds are nice and dry and curing well. i saved the best buds until last and added a couple of photos of them and a video also! they are covered in trichomes and feel great. Not much of a smell from the buds and it tastes like a sweet floral cheese mixture. Im pretty couchlocked from a bong of this strain so im gonna end this diary here and go relax but many thanks for following along folks and take a look at my other diaries if you get a chance :) Peace!

will have to see but at 8 & 10 weeks, i think they look a little small. as long as i continue watering, this new maxsisun mf2000 should fatten these buds up. cant wait for next grow with the new light in 3x3 tent. this is becoming the best hobby i can recall next to working in my garden all summer. and this grow diary is great as you can have an honest review of progress etc...i have learned so much from this community. Hi Gromie's, northern Lights has really taken off this week , I have upped nutrients & also turned light up to 75% (around 360w) which has also helped to increase temps to 22-24°c. Rise in temperature has made a big difference. I have also topped her a 2nd time & will mainline using nebula haze's (grow weed easy.com) method keeping the 1st & 3rd node's giving me 4 cola's per side, 8 total, have started training branches. This is first week. i cover those plant with plastic glass. because from my expierence. from the old day. there are many enermy of your plant such mouse or many insect can get in your grow tent. so it's bad thing for me when the rat in my house come and ate all of my little plant when it age 1 weeks. so it should not happen again. before your plant strong. this state of plant is weakest of your plant. this time must very be careful.
