Ninth Week / 04.07.24 - 10.07.24 Week 9 was smooth with no major issues—everything’s going great! 🌿 Whenever the sun was shining, I took the opportunity to put the plants out on the balcony for some direct sunlight. ☀️ Kept up with the 18-hour light schedule indoors and continued watering every three days. 🌱💧 The plants are looking healthy and vibrant, making steady progress in their growth and development. Loving this journey! 🚀🌼

Week 8 - Oct 26 to Nov 2nd Alright so upon reflection in Week 8 of my Chem-Bomb Auto diary it was not the best week but nothing disastrous 🙌 Random November heatwave got the apartment room up to near summer temperatures but the airflow was fine with an open tent + second fan. Crisped the tips a bit with the heat and upping the nutes. This advanced nutes stuff is very salty for a soil grow and even the small amounts reported above, split between the 4 plants, still end up getting to the fan leaves. Using Molasses and plain water feeds between nute feeds this stuff is still very touchy. The Chocolate Mint OG Autos are bigger overall plants with more stretch in the last week. A lot more bud sites but overall the buds are still smaller so hopefully it finishes strong and really plumps over the next few weeks. More in Week 9! Thanks for checking in! A brown leaf revealed the moldy core of the bud. Based on this sign, I harvested most of the plant. otherwise the Plant did grow well and has some terps leaning to the sour, limone side. had to throw away about 8G modly stuff from main colar. Seems to be about 30-40g left without mold.

This is intentional, educational, and incredibly valuable to observe. ⸻ 🌸 The Early-18h Plant — Signs of Flower Initiation One of the plants spent a few weeks under 18 hours of light before joining the rest. Now, at Week 4, she’s clearly showing early flowering signals: • First pistils appearing • A subtle but visible shift in posture and energy • That unmistakable “I’m ready to bloom” attitude She looks beautiful — relaxed, confident, and eager to express herself. This is not stress. This is timing. What’s happening here? The earlier extended vegetative light allowed her to mature physiologically faster. Once environmental cues aligned, she was simply ready. Deep, healthy greens. Leaf structure is expressive and full of character — a strong genetic signature showing itself clearly now. I'm amped up about these 6 Gotti Ogs and these 2 Downtown Finest Og strains, there growing fast eating a lot and the weather is great in Cali. These indoor veg and outdoor flower is really working well for me. I'm using Flora nova bloom and there booming

Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.

This week I added a scrog net and started guiding some of the branches through it. A few branches were already long enough to be bent and positioned under the net, while others still need a bit more growth before reaching it. From now on, the goal is to let the plant grow freely and focus on filling the net evenly before flipping to flower 🌿💪

Day 14: This week I'm increasing the humidity inside the tent with a wet towel and containers with water. I also removed the half bottles that were over the plants to generate extra humidity, because they got burned because of that, as you can see in the leaves, there are some brown snipes. Day 15: I added a towel and containers with water inside the tent to increase humidity, I managed to bring it up to 67% in some parts of the day. Day 16: I'm convinced Mario has thrips. I will add Potasium Soap in a couple days to kill any thrips possibility, and also add a moistmeter in the soil to know exactly if I'm overwatering or not. Day 18: Started with the feeding. Rizothonic + Vega at 25% of the recommended dosage. Added just 12ml of water on each plant. I don't want to overwater. Also added a new fan to the setup. Day 19: Added Potasium soap to the leaves during the dark hours. They look better already. Day 20: Added water + Solution of water with 25% nutrients I already created on day 18. I'm going reeeally slow with nutrients. D21: Forgot to make photos. Sprayed potasium soap solution at 2% over the plants, to avoid any pests.

Otra semana más Creo esta semana hoy día 27 Anunciando así el próximo día 28 inicio de esta quinta semana de floración del calendario de mis niñas,semana en la que comienzo subiendo la cantidad de comida y con ello de agua para mis niñas. En los últimos riegos de la cuarta semana fui subiendo hasta alcanzar los 1700. Las plantas mayoritariamente lo aceptaron,así que con ello subiré esta semana hasta alcanzar los 2000. No defoliaré ninguna planta Hoy ajuste la luminaria a una altura de 30cm con respecto a los 45 de la anterior semana. Esta semana pegarán un buen apretón con la subida de PK,y la ayuda de los azúcares. Seguimos con muchas lluvias y una humedad muy alta que dentro del armario se combate entre ventiladores extractor y desumificadores pasivos de sales de silicio. Que me mantienen un 35% menos de la que tengo en el exterior llegando muchos días a los 45/50% de humedad. Tengo que añadir que vivo a un kilómetro de la playa. Día 28 Di un pequeño fumigado, de agua con ajo y jabón potásico en la entrada al cuarto de cultivo. Como preventivo ante cualquier insecto que quiera acercarse atraído por el aroma. Hoy e podido ver que el último riego de 1700EC,no causó ningúna sobre fertilización apreciable en el cultivo casi nula,viendo esto en el siguiente riego subiremos a 1900Ec. Día 29 Primera impresión al abrir el armario es que había una humedad alta dentro del almario. Un 72% que una vez encendí el pequeño desumificador de 8l de casa,a mejorado a 53% Hoy compré la gama de completa de aptus. Iré añadiendo alguno de estos componentes de la fase de floración,para ver qué tal se combinan con la gama de plagron. Hoy le metí un riego de 55litros,una Ec de 1900 Sin carga de pk,desorbitada. Este riego me centro en los azúcares junto con algunos aditivos como silicio,aminoácidos,azúcares,encinas,sulfatos y manteniendo el nitrógeno en pequeña parte el potasio y el fósforo,calcio y magnesio que nunca falte en cada riego!,las lámparas están bajas y a toda potencia. Quiero en estos días conseguir mejorar con grandes empujones . Saludos compañeros! Día 30 Todo bien,todo correcto y me alegro!,buenas tardes,buenas noches. El cultivo aceptó muy bien la subida de EC 1900,esta variedad come de buena manera!. De esta manera seguiremos subiendo para ver,hasta donde llegan. Obviamente no vamos a sobrecargarlas,pero vamos a ver hasta donde llegan. El siguiente riego lo haré trabajando con pk,mineral y algunos aditivos más orgánicos-minerales. Tengo que decir que el aporte del té frío de plátano junto a la melaza le habrán venido fantástico también a las lombrices! Día 31 Todo perfecto dentro del cultivo ,veo que las 9 semanas de floración son fijas.. Un gran punto a favor,es que el clima empieza a ser más favorable a partir de este fin de semana.. Subirán más las temperaturas y las lluvias van a detenerse por unos días. Espero contar con una humedad ambiental más baja para poder seguir tranquilo con el desarrollo de las flores. Dia 1 Lo comentado en el día anterior,bajo la humedad ambiental,tenemos buenos parámetros! Una temperatura con luz de 21 grados y una nocturna de 16. Va aumentando mucho la resina!,eso me gusta! Hoy le metimos una EC2100 en el riego. Mañana veremos qué tal lo reciben las niñas. Va aumentando de buena manera el engorde,no me puedo quejar! A ver si llegamos al 1,7g/w que es el rendimiento que se está obteniendo con esta configuración en los cuartos de los compañeros! Sin Co2 obviamente. Día 2 Ya veis,todo viento en popa! Hoy hice una prueba en el cultivo con el riego ya que en el último riego cogió aire el sistema. Aún sigue así,en el día de mañana lo purgaré.
