Next time, I won't use it. 19.5.25. Northern lights had got quite bushy, and there were a lot of extra leaves covering up some prime budsites. So I went ahead and Defoliated some of the larger fan leaves that were covering and blocking out other buds. The plants are growing very fast. The buds are getting very nicely structured. Northern Lights is drinking about 3 l per day, and I will continue to use the Greenleaf nutrients sea kelp and Ecothrive Biosys, along with the Ecothrive trace For the calcium, magnesium and trace elements. She has indeed stopped stretching now and is focusing on the bud formations. It's a very lovely smell, too! 😋 I use these all the way through. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. 21.5.25: I defoliated today again. This time, I took a little more off than I did yesterday as things had become congested, and the buds in the centre weren't getting any light. I got covered in sticky...ness?! I forgot to wear gloves, but for some reason, my non dominant hand got covered in resin and the other, not at all. Anyway, I hope I've managed to include the before defoliation and after videos/photos. I think it's much better after, there's so many buds I couldn't even see in the centre! I probably should have done it sooner, but I was trying hard to take as little as possible this run. Anyway, this is the prime bud building period. So, taking the leaves covering all the centre colas will not only provide equal light penetration but also get rid of some of the nutrients stored in the leaves. So, any nutrients available in the remaining leaves can deplete to a happy medium. That being said, we're coming close to the end of mid flowering. They did amazing Soaked for 12 hours, they were already starting to show taproots when I put them in the paper towel 16 hours later, they went into solo cups, sprouted soil the next morning🔥

Plucked a few more leaves and rearranged some plants this time around. Other than that just changed the nutrient solution as usual. I like to break the resin heads with my fingers by rubbing a sugar leaf to get a nice smell from the plants and these smell of a very fruity scent with a hint of pine on the end. Hopefully I can bring out some of that profile in the cure. 👍

2018-03-13 Week 11 Day 1 As I mentioned last week, the girls are growing like crazy since I changed to 600W HPS,and even though they haven't grown so much higher, they are definetly wider because of LST. My growroom is only about 1.8m2, so now the girls are so wide that there's not enough space for them to get wider, so now I will let them stretch. Nr 1 is 44 cm Nr 2 is 39 cm 2018-03-14 Day 2 I LST'd the girls one last time and also defoliated them mildly so all the tops get as much light as possible,hopefully increasing the yield in the end. I also turn the girls 1/4 lap every day to ensure that all sides of them get as much exposure to light as possible, it would've been great to have some kind of turntable that turns the girls 1 lap in 12 hours,, but until I find out a device that does just that,I'll keep on doing ti manually. 1 week of 12/12 in the books and already getting some stretchhhhh. Dropped the silica to save some ppms for the massive bloom and gp3 bloom. One last major defol and sucker clean up, I figure at this point whatever branches make it, make it. Starting to get a nice smell. They're both drinking about 2 gal over the course of the week.

Looks like she recovered alright from the little dry patch in the watering schedule. Her leafs look healthy and vital, so I decided to top her on day 15 - maybe a day or two too early, we'll see. But I didn't just top her, I also removed the two top fan leafs - I'm aware, it's a tricky balance between the loss of energy produced from the leafs vs. giving the new growth underneath more light to stimulate growth. She'll be alright, I've got a good feeling about her! She also received a layer of Mulch on top of the first soil layer. The idea: aiding the microbial life on the soil surface and at the same time reduce evaporation to prevent the top soil layer to dry out too quickly.

After 13 weeks of flowering, Lemon Cherry Gelato is finally ready. I haven't watered her for the last three days. Her buds are extremely sticky and shiny. 🍋🍒🍦

Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Got this plant repotted and out to the greenhouse. Put in the tomato cage for training, and pulled the top branches down under the rung to spread it out. The plant is doing good and growing well. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Leaf surface temperature averages about 20.5 °C, which requires relative humidity to be maintained at roughly 60–65%. Today, the plants were fully watered with approximately 8.5 liters per pot, adjusted to a pH of 6.3 and supplemented with 0.5 ml/L Cal-Mag. Light LST was also applied today to round off plant care. The goal is to reach the edge of the pot again with healthy, stable plants.
