Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. The girls have recovered well after my massive defoliation. Girl number 1 is now 40 cm high, number 2 is 105 cm and number 3 is 25 cm. It is strange that 3 plants from the same strain, with the same care and environment, can distinguish so much in appearance and size. It separates 80 cm in numbers 2 and 3. In 4 days Nr1 has grown 3 cm, Nr 2 has grown 17 cm and Nr 3 has grown 4 cm. They have received 7 liters of water and nutrition today.

The plant is doing well overall this week! 💪 To handle a few fungus gnats that started showing up, I introduced nematodes into the soil and placed some yellow sticky traps, seems to be keeping things under control so far. She's growing quite tall now, definitely stretching up nicely, but not really filling out much in width. A true lemony skyscraper in the tent!😂💚

Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Will let dry before re-watering. - [2100]: After closer inspection, I think she's looking a bit yellow. --- Decided to add a bit of grow nutes to the bubbler solution. --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 176 PPM --- PH went up to 6 --- I hope that the extra chelating properties of the 'PH Perfect' solution is enough of a buffer for proper nutrient uptake. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. Super stinky, eye irritatingly. Harvest is gonna be fun. Reduced the A&B, cut out P/K and molasses. Added mamoth P(free sample) I dont know if It'll do shit but eh free. I've got enough for next grow too. PUrple kush 5 plants in seedling stage now.

2/6/2023 - Day 35: After the watering yesterday the girls perked up, but they were already getting dry again. I was originally planning on waiting longer to transplant, but I felt like they were out growing their 1 gallon pots. Also, after checking their roots I could tell they were ready, so I transplanted today. Watered in with about 1.5 gallons at 6.4 ph. I know they say you don't need to ph water in a large bed like this, but my water is really bad here. At times it can be over 8 ph out of the tap. Mixed my water with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Micro Complete, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, fresh aloa juice from my garden, and BuildASoil Big 6 Micro nutrients. 2/10/2023 - Day 39 Veg: now that the plants are in the 3x3 bed, there is much less maintenance. I'm using an Ecowitt to track the soul moister. It started at 33% when I watered on Monday, and is at 33% today. I want to let it drop below 30% before watering again. I did do my weekly IPM spray today, using Dr. Zymes Eliminator. Also, I noticed some slight leaf discoloration, so I added some Pure Protein Dry and BuildASoil Big 6 micronutrients to the foliar spray, which I sprayed at lights out. A had a small amout of the mix left after all plants were sprayed, so i used it to slightly mist the top soil. Not sure I'd the discoloration is the start of a deficiency or just left over from the under watering last week. Figured the foliar feeding wouldn't hurt either way. 2/12/2022 - Day 41: Soil moisture dropped to 30% today, so I watered with a worm casting tea. Added some Rootwise Micro Complete, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja. Watered about 8 liters and gave the plants a foliar feed with the tea as well. All of the plants look pretty good. The Grand Prix 2 has some leaf curl and I'm not sure what is causing it, since the other 3 aren't showing similar symptoms. Thought it might be light or heat stress, since it is the tallest plant, so I raised the light and dropped the high temp down a few degrees. Also, the Frozen White Runtz is the smallest of all 4 and seems to be growing slow. We'll have to see how they all respond to the tea.

Four week of vegetation and the canopy is filling up nicely. Lost the branch I tied back unfortunately. I need to make cleaner cuts in the future.

Flowering day 76 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Dia 134 y semana 6 de floración,ultimo dia de vida de las plantas. Este año ha sido un poco raro las plantas han crecido como monstruos tuvieron un crecimiento espectacular un tallo muy grande y junto con sus ramas flexibles y muy resistentes. Pero al llegar el engorde de floración no se porque les falto el empujon final para hinchar el cogollo, tiene muy buena pinta , mucha resina y muy fuerte buen olor pero me esperaba mas en la fase final. Cortamos ya que tambien habian orugas y no terminaba de eliminarlas por completo, la semana que viene era entera de lluvias así que decidi cortar un poco mas temprano para poder prevenir cualquier mal mayor, hay mucha gente que le gusta cortar antes de tiempo ya que el efecto es muy diferente, este año probaremos que tal.

No major changes this week but the plant is still taking 2ltrs of water every 2nd night. I have stopped giving nutrients now so it’s just getting Ph’d water. Some of the lower leaves are turning yellow as expected. From this week on I’ll be dropping the temperature a bit during lights out to help produce more trichomes and also turn it a bit more purple.

Can´t tell if the Charlotte got any problem. Just went back to the normal feeding. I guess a week more till flushing.

6/18/22 Today starts week 4, and the first day of flowering!! The day has finally arrived, and my large (flowering) tent is packed! With these 4 additions, there are now 6 plants all together. I defoliated the living daylights out of all four of my ladies today. I also cut off all the lower, small growths as well as the large bottom 2 branches to provide clearance near their bases. At this point I’m more interested in the ease of growing instead of volume at harvest. Their mother is big enough to give me a pretty good yield. The 4 of them will still be large enough. I measured each one as well today, and their sizes are as follows: #1 & #4 are both 21 inches tall. #2 is 22 inches tall, and #3 is 20 inches tall. They are all approximately 28 inches below the light at 100% power. I fed each plant half a gallon of water today mixed with the early bloom step 1 level nutrients. I mixed 2 separate gallons containing the following: CALiMAGic - 2 ml FloraMicro - 5.7 ml FloraGro - 6.6 ml FloraBloom - 6.6 ml Floralicious Plus - 1 ml The pH was 6.2 in each of the two gallons and was not adjusted. Runoff was sufficient for each plant, and the pH was as follows: #’s 1 & 4 were both 5.8. #2 was 6.2, and #3 was 5.7. The tent temperature was 81F, and humidity was 66%. Today has been a long day, and I’m tired! Happy growing everyone! 6/20/22 Stella’s Cuatro are all doing well. They all seem to have recuperated from their massive defoliation on the 18th. Right now they all seem to be naked since they haven’t started to develop any bud nodes yet, but I’m sure they’ll be beautiful eventually. Today I mixed 2 more gallons of solution to feed each plant half a gallon of water with the early bloom nutrients. The nutrients are the same as the other day, so I’m not going to repeat them here. Both gallons had an initial pH of 6.3, and we’re not adjusted. Each plant had plenty of runoff as well. The runoff pH was as follows: #1, 3, & 4 were all 5.8. #2 was 6.1. The tent was 84.2F, and the humidity was 52%. Not much else to say, except, happy growing everyone! 6/23/22 The stretch is on in full force with Stella’s Cuatro! Just since 6/18/22, only 5 days, #1 green 5.5 inches, and is now 26.5 inches tall. #2 grew 8 inches, and is now 30 inches tall. #3 grew 4 inches, and #4 grew 3 inches, and now they are both 24 inches tall. I’m hoping that the stretch stops soon and that they don’t choke off the space I have left in the tent. I mixed 2 more gallons of water with the early bloom nutrients. Each plant received 1/2 gallon, or 8 cups of the following: CALiMAGic - 2 ml FloraMicro - 5.7 ml FloraGro - 6.6 ml FloraBloom - 6.6 ml Floralicious Plus - 2 ml Liquid KoolBloom - 1 ml The pH for both gallons was an equal 6.4. Each plant had sufficient runoff with pH’s as follows: #1 & #4 were 5.9. #2 was 6.2, and #3 was 5.8. The tent temperature was 85.1F, with humidity at 51%. Stella’s first 4 daughters are doing well, but I’ll be glad when they stop growing, and start producing some pistils, and bud. Happy growing everyone!
