Week 3 of Flower we focus on Defoilation. This really is going to test the genetics response to extreme stress. Performed a 5 day Schwazze to minimize stress instead of ripping off most leave in one day. Plant seem to have reacted well so far. This technique has really opened the canopy and expose many bud sites. Preparing for a top feed at start of new week.

Partially drained the tank at the start of the week and topped up with ro water and 1ml of final solution per Litre. Last 2.5 days were in darkness. I trimmed the majority of fan leaves before hanging up to dry in the tent today. Started out trimming with the plants in the tent and soon realised it would be much easier to just cut them down whole, hang them upside down outside the tent and trim them up a bit. I have a small dehumidifier and a small fan heater setup in the tent and they have been keeping a humidity level of about 60% and a temp of 16 Celsius for the last few days while the lights have been off. I figure that's a good starting point for drying and I can increase the temperature if needed, that will drop the humidity also. Intake fan at the bottom and extract fan at the top are running constantly as they have been since the grow started (low power 4" fans). I might add back in a fan for circulation depending on how the drying goes, or maybe even trim or hang the plants better to get more airflow around the buds

We are starting to grow a new autoflowering strain from 42Fast Buds under the number FBA2502. We don't know much about the strain yet, but we do know that its maturation period is around 70 to 80 days. For germination, we used a reliable method: paper towel and cotton sponge. In just 24 hours, the seed sprouted with a root about 1 cm long. The next step will be planting it in soil composed of: 50% black soil (chernozem), 35% coconut substrate and coconut fiber, 10% perlite, 5% expanded clay. We will continue to monitor its growth and share the results.

This was a very rough year for growers. I tackled spider mites, thrips, pm and leaf septoria. Unfortunately these needed to be taken a little early due to a number of factors. The smoke came out amazing. Closest I've come to a lb a plant. Smokes great and had that citrus taste that comes with blueberry. I am very proud of myself. I'll finish this review later. this week was great, the V1 arrived through a lot of logistical nightmares. its the final test before mass production- i will post another dairy for it but please have a look at the pics above. ive created a stylish subtle, modern way to grow 4 plants. this will be great for all levels and will save big on energy and nutrition. you just have to prune, it can even draw water into itself. anbd its 4 plants!!! stick here and youll see it in action. ive decided to change the order in tents. now we have super strong Purple berry Kush with the returned and super strong sweet seeds Sweet cherry pie. so one tent is the strong, and the other tent is now perma auto flower, which serves for additional veg for girls who fall behind their grow peers. hope that makes sense. i think my net is pretty useless other than a visual to plan nodes. i guess the real support will come from placing more plastic rods around the colas and fastening them. hope Christmas was kind to everyone. this oncoming week will be the last week of veg i think for tent two and we flip to flower. thanks for looking.

i was surprised that she was done on 2/15/25 spidermites had completely taken over one bud so i decided to check trichomes and she seemed ready.

Day 73 ~ Plant 1 is looking great and hopefully will be ready to harvest by the end of the week. Been checking the trichomes and while most are getting milky white, there are still a couple sites on the plant where I find clear trichomes. Plant 2 seems to be about a week or two behind the first plant...I will give plant 2 their final Nutes tmrw and then begin to flush. From reading about this strain it seems like it should take around 90 days from seed to harvest. So I would think plant 1 is running a little ahead of schedule and plant 2 is right on time. Day 75 ~ Both plants looking and smelling amazing! I was hoping to be harvesting the first plant by this weekend, but she is still growing and her trichomes are still not all milky and I haven't yet to find an amber one. So it might be another week or so before I can start drying her out.

This was my first outdoor autoflower experience. Very happy with the results. Buds could have had a better taste in my opinion but that is just preference.

Both are still growing healthy beautiful buds but like the rest of the tent, they were a little burned this week. I dimmed down the light. That helped with the temperature as well.
