This was a week. The drama at the beginning was one of the fans falling down onto my gorilla cookies. It snapped a branch off really bad but the girl hung onto it by threads. I duct taped her up and somehow took. 😎😢 I defoliated and did a little lst on a couple of the girls. Nothing major. Also increased the light to 80% now. I think I'll stay there until late flower when I switch to 12/12. I also added blocks to a couple of the girls to make the canopy level. That put the light at 15" as recommended by Medic Grow. This Gorilla Cookie is a beast. Even took a beating from a falling fan but kept going. She'll do the best out of the group I bet. Howdy, So this last week has been about learning, quickly. Plant 2 has been suffering from yellowing, I noticed that at first it was a darker green than plant 1 - (first signs of Mg deficiency I have since learned). As plant 1 was doing so well until a few days ago, I originally assumed that plant 2 was just a bit of a slacker. I think basically it is more susceptible to PH differences than plant 1. First mistake was not knowing about the benefits of PH range... What I did not know earlier in the week is that Mg and Ca are only absorbed efficiently at 6.0 and above, my OCD kicked in and I refused to let the PH wander above 5.7; as from what I have read in forums, 5.7 is the sweet spot. Main lesson from last week is that I'm not going to be so anal about PH levels, I will let the PH rise to 6.3 before I drop it back down to 5.7, this will give the plants and window of time to grab hold of some well deserved CalMag before I drop it back down so it can retrieve some Mn and P if it needs any. My plants told me they were in need of Calcium over a week ago, but I naively thought that maybe I spilled a droplet of water on one of the leaves, and that caused it to burn. As I was adding CalMag+ to the solution when I replenished the reservoir. My second mistake was panicking... After realising above, I bombed the nutrient solution with 35ml of Cal Mag, bringing up the PPMS to 460, this subsequently gave the strongest plant nutrient burn. On top of this, I gave both plants a foliage spray during lights out with some diluted CalMag as well. So anyway, the main thing I have learnt is when the plants are ill, its probably best to take it easy, do a res swap at the very worst and concentrate on my PH levels first before throwing more variables into the fray. Positive notes: Plants 1 & 2 is now working on their 5th node, I know I am technically allowed to top at this point, but I am going to wait until they are working on their 7th before doing anything, this way I will be able to tell if the new growth is looking healthy, and my investigations are correct. I have now installed a Hailea 150a, with a submersible pump, this is now keeping the reservoir at 20ºc and its keeping the nutrients well mixed, I'll post a video later this week showing the set up. The roots at the top look a little dark, but I have done a sniff test and they don't smell at all, I think it is just where some of the tea has built up where the bubbles meet the air. Roots do seem rather large, maybe they have stretched so far looking for Mg and Ca :P Decided against increasing PPMS, going to do another week, so 5 weeks veg, gives the ladies some time to recover. Trimmed the burns off of leaves mainly so I can keep a track to see if damage is continuing. Anyways, I hope the above makes sense and draws other newbies attention towards PH ranging for hydro; I have posted a pic which shows the PH range for each important element. Thanks! 😊

Week 13 Sour Jelousy Last day after lights on i cut them and they are going in Vivosun Vcure 14-16 days cycle around 55-62F with 58-65RH will add pictures when i cut her , plants smell really nice speacily taller one and the density is decent not rock solid but decent dence , Bear Knuckle is allso done and she smells and tasty like some gassy green apple .

Week 8 - Last day for nutes had no idea flower could actually smell like candy without being sprayed with TERPS I’m going to flush these over the next 2 weeks I’ll update next week !

This was an easy to grow varietal for me... Plant was extremely stable... Great flowering time period 8to9 weeks... Other phenols took longer... Will keep this cutting fo good

Day 71 from seed the plant seems to be growing beautifully and now they are starting to develop beautiful flowers and they are entirely covered with white snow trichomes it is a very strong and powerful plant to grow what a beauty . I also I defoliate some of the lower branches that will not going to develop well enough because lack of light so they can use that energy on the upper buds instead of the lower ones. thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

No complaints, flowering good, a few yellowing on leaf is starting to show, maybe not feeding enough. But so far so good

Adding this awhile after the fact... but me setup, bed is filled with small logs, sticks, leaves, hay, green grass, alfalfa, then redbud living soil on top 5lbs of worms added as well. Organic feeding, mainly lactic and baccilus, Kashi, knf inputs, fish shit, orca, king crab

GENERAL COMMENT. Two different realities are populating my humble growroom, by one side we have a vibrant SKR and the other the NL that was destabilised a wile back. This two girls from RQS have lots of virtues, and shooting up many colas, and harvest is looking promising also with the lock in the NL. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTO AKA NL - COMMENT. After struggling a lot to curb her deficiencies and spotting, I could rinse off the salt buildup and raise the soil PH, flush, flush, flush little bit of voodoo juice, and only the full organic based nutes made the trick for now, so we are stable, and leaves started to look healthier, spotting stoped but is already in the majority of the leaves. EC is light at 1.1 Stoped taking the runoff since i made the medium treatment, and honestly that got on my nerves now is bulking this colas or die, finito with the over caring thing… One thing to notice is that i have to re do this strain to fully grow it and having a 100% potencial to be able to fully judge, as for now if you do this strain use less of everything, nutes, light, water, less is definitely more with this strain. Smell is the least pungent of the plants i ever done, so if you are looking for a stealth plant this is a good candidate.
